So far so good! I’ve stayed at the Mantra quite a few times and it’s one of my favourite hotels!

Great hotel, nice staffs and central location. Shopping convenience.

Very friendly staff and easy check-in. Be mindful if using the carpark: the entryway changes to right lane drive (ie system).

Stayed from Friday till Sunday. Very very dirty floors we did not want to take our shoes off. The bed is very lumpy. We have come home with very sore back. The room was very outdated. No room service no mini bar Very disappointed. Would not recommend this to anyone. The staff were lovely though.

Really disappointed that we did not get any balcony and we stayed 7 nights. Only a tiny lounge window and frosted bedroom window. The single beds were extremely uncomfortable. Sofa worn out and bland decor.

Nice place in the heart of the city. Gym, suana and pool facilities. Car parking available.

Friendly staff. Requested for a room with nice view of the CBD and they didn't disappoint. 40th floor, very good room size, definitely 5 stars.

Staff were very rude and had an attitude, room had no windows whatsoever so couldn’t see city view. Felt very claustrophobic. Can also hear and smell the rubbish shoot from hallways.

Don't pay for breakfast on top of the room rate, it's cheaper to go to the cafe and pay separately for most items. I paid $10 extra by pre-paying. Rooms are ok but no free Wi-Fi unless you're a rewards member.

The staff were very friendly, accommodating, and helpful. The room itself was great too.

Good location close to the CBD, and apartments have kitchens, which are good if you want to save money and eat in. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Stayed for a week and the beds were like sleeping on rocks, had to pay for Wi-Fi, dishwasher barely worked out TV remote completely died a couple of days after we got there (yes we tried new batteries), only has about 10 channels on foxtel and no room service or cleaning services. The only positives is that the balcony was lovely and so was the view, the couch was comfy and the kitchen was good.

I can assure all reading an absolute let down to stay, from staff to facilities in general. Our reservation was made 8 weeks in advance and paid in full at this time. The first three nights we had to suffice with a room lesser than we booked and paid for, without offer of a refund or apology. When finally moved up to the room we originally requested which had been “accidentally” let out, My partner and I were then asked to pay a fee for changing rooms. To add insult to this they threatened to tow our rental car as the space we had also reserved and paid for was linked to the latter room and staff failed to update their own changes. The gym was filthy, poorly equipped and maintained. The BBQ facilities require $100 cash deposit to use. The hot water system was down, which is understandable, faults happen. But totally unacceptable and illegal is having taps hot/cold plumbed opposite to Australian standards, especially if your stay includes children. The attitude of staff not to mention their general confusion in hotel policy was appalling. The room condition (both rooms) left much to be desired, (oily hand prints on cupboards and bed headboard, mould and stains in bathroom, complete lack of utensils in kitchenette). Do yourself a favor and pass on this place.

I found a dead cockroach in the fridge! Disgusting. I threw away lots of food. The building is not clean and it has garbage smell in floors corridors specially during weekends.

Nice clean rooms. Only (slight) issue is the bed, two mattress king. Still good, only reason not a higher rating.

Stained carpet n lounge. Paying $35 a night for parking is extravagant. The pool was nice.

Wow! What a place. I can only say that the apartment is everything that is advertised plus more. Plenty of space, living room with fox, breathtaking views of the skyline and the city. I would highly recommend this apartment to anyone.

We were on the 39th floor great views and the hotel is in a central position. But for me that is all it had to offer. The apartment had stained carpet everywhere and needed fresh paint on the walls. We only stayed one night had a late checkout and they locked us out of the room. All the lifts werent working causing long waiting times and also the rubbish chute was out of action. Overall this hotel needs a total upgrade.

NOTE: Please do match each and every Inventory items before renting an apartment with mantra or before leaving out, Do take pictures to prove them that you have left things in the unit. We rented an apartment in Mantra for 2 years but had a bad experience while coming out. Paid them $475 for bond cleaning for 1 bedroom which is too expensive… And then received an email after 2 days saying most of the utensils are missing. When I requested management to check with cleaners if they have kept in other drawers, Received a rude email from the Property Manager saying : It is not appropriate to contact staff on their mobiles, nor is it appropriate to imply a cleaner would feel the need to take a teaspoon. But Is it appropriate to blame your tenants? After a day they said cleaners confirmed nothing was there and I have to replace or pay money for the missing items. When I opted for replacing, they came back saying It should be same as hotel stock which clearly means that it's mandatory to pay what they are asking. Paid $104 for the old utensils which surely wasn't worth $104. Few great wordings from the email- It is not appropriate to contact staff on their mobiles, nor is it appropriate to imply a cleaner would feel the need to take a teaspoon. As it appears throughout the tenancy, items went missing, the responsibility is on you, the tenant, to either replace these items or offer the owner a monetary compensation amount for us to replace the items on your behalf.

I have been here 1 month ago. I arrived early morning and asked reception can we early check in. Actually when I was booking, wrote requests about early check in. She said full booking today and request is just request. You need to wait. I understood what she said. And I left my phone number. Room is ready, she said she can call me. I walked around until 1pm. Hotel check in time was 2pm. I thought Room is already clean. She just didn't call me. I went hotel again and asked her, Almost check in time so can we check in? Finally we came to room. I thought all of her attitude was so rude. How can say request is just request. And room is ready but didn't call me and never say sorry something and didn't smile. Everything was bad. Iam working in hotel too. If quest wanna early check, we do clean the room first and call them. How different. I don't understand. I really disappointed with reception service. Your hotel receptionists need to more kindly.

The room was nice, it could have done with a spare blanket. Parking is not included and is expensive, especially for the tiny park you get. Paid for breakfast which was two blocks away, so factor that in, to your check out time.

Worst hotel in Australia. I have never seen such filthy rooms in my life, carpets stained over every inch, balcony tiles filthy, refrigerator uncleaned with food stuck to the back, draw full of broken knifes, no oven tray, when I asked for a knife and oven tray the staff told me I would have to wait till house keeping came the next day, apparently the staff cant be trusted with any sharp objects, refusal to accept club membership unless booked directly through them. Our first night we were awoken to a fire alarm at 4.20am and had to rush down 36 flights of stairs, the building is so old the pipes on the 33rd floor had burst. The service from staff was terrible, you cant get a blanket or towel brought to your room and after my 4th trip down to complain I was offered a nights free parking and a nights free Wi-Fi. Dont take my word for it look at the reviews for this place (wish I had done this) at nearly 900 dollars for 5 nights its the most overpriced dump.

Cons: The showers would constantly go from boiling hot to ice cold every few seconds not even kidding I couldn't shower. The rooms weren't cleaned properly but were clean enough. Pros: Staff were friendly. Spacey balcony with a great view. Gave 2 stars because I didn't complain to staff about the showers which they may have fixed if I did.

Central location and close to tourist venues. Comfortable, well appointed room and helpful staff. No restaurant on site but many lovely eateries nearby.

Have stayed here on a few occassions. Rooms are a good size and well equipped. Housekeeping can be a little unpredictable. Most times I have stayed here my Room was never serviced however last week it was serviced daily during my 4 night stay. Nice pool and gym on level 3. Excellent location.

Pleasant views, no matter which side of the building your on. Parking your vehicle before entering the Mantra car park can be challenging. The Mantra on Mary has a soft and hard interior design, displaying white and cream walls with dark panels of natural rock walls with running water features. Service depends on what staff member you talk to which can range from average to professional. The main feature is definitely the location, walk to almost any of the many entertainment venues that Brisbane has to offer including all levels of restaurants. I would recommend this place for access to Brisbane alone.

Housekeeping could definitely be improved. The room wasn't quite cleaned; stray hairs left around, furniture seemed un-keept, cups were not clean, shower rail wasn't secure and carpet appeared dirty. There is no free guest Wi-Fi which I find to be a little outdated. A fairly average stay.

Great location good prices and friendly staff.

Location excellent in the city, close to shopping, cafes, restaurants, transport if required. Room was beautiful, full kitchen gas cooktop and utensils provided. Views amazing from the 2 balconys. Easy to check in and out. Bit of miscommunication about the front desk not being open on the weekends. Quite a high security deposit ($200) in my opinion, other hotels I have stayed in only take $50-100 and allow cash deposits for easier returns. Lifts were slow due to the hotel also being a residence. No problems with noise.

24 hrs service available but I haven't needed it. Great location close to pubs, bars, shopping and restaurants. Rooms are kept well.

Room was really big and for a acceptable price. "Help yourself" is the motto here. I can deal with that. You have quite everything you need for cooking, laundry and living there. The only bad thing is the noise coming from falling garbagge from highter floors. Sounds like little explosions after every ten minutes. Please check before with the reception! Internet is extremely slow and expensive.

Combined apartment block/hotel/ longer term rental. Tiny lifts and corridors but reasonable rooms with all mod cons. Loved the balcony, terrific views of Brisbane, and the air conditioning kept us sane. While it doesn't have concierge, food or many other things like a conventional hotel it is right in the middle of the district so all you could need is a short walk away.
