As a frequent traveler, Sydney has become a monthly to fortnightly destination for me. I've stayed at plenty of hotels and I must admit the hotel is below standard. Other hotels in the area are more modern for the same price. The hotel I had booked was an executive suite, which was supposed to be an upgrade from the standard suite. This is my honest review. Firstly, the central heating or room heating was not working, great for the cold nights, not at all. But the staff were kind enough to offer a portable heater. This is extremely disappointing and really not accommodating. The room was run down, it was old and wasn't exactly the cleanest place I've been to. The staff were amazing but the biggest let down was the price as well as the actual room itself. I would definitely not recommend this hotel. I had paid just over 460 for 2 nights and regret the whole process. Avoid if possible.

Excellent accommodation in city near Darling Harbour. Great coffee shop/ eating spot next door. Helpful staff at SHP.

Booked adjoining rooms. Great staff. Got a park which is limited. All good except for one dirty coffee cup. Great location.

Definitely not a 4star hotel. Maybe 2.5 or 3? Room service was poor Terrible shower Broken SPA/hot tub was cold The size of the units and the location are the only two positives about this hotel Staff were nice.

The hotel was alright clean and really nice, but the servis not good at all. And they haven’t send me back my deposit 100$, they said that it can takes more time, but it almost 2 months and still nothing I have New Zealand bank account so I don’t think it should be a problem to send it back to me. And after first email, they stop communicat with me so I can’t get any more information. Don’t pay deposit with card, they steal your money. Not happy with this hotel, you can find better one for the same price.

Good location close to Darling Harbour. Room was nice but the air conditioning did not work well.

First room had a broken window catch meaning the window would open letting noise in and make air con not work. Second room 2as cleaner but had a broken dishwasher and bathroom sink plug. Listing had a spa as available facilities but this has apparently been out of service for a month or so. Halls on some floors smell pretty bad and rooms cling smells are evident easily. Friendly and helpful desk staff 3/10 would avoid next timr.

Slightly older place, but well equipped rooms. No Wi-Fi sadly.

Best place to stay in the city of Sydney its just walking distance tp darling harbour park, shopping center, Cathedral and Town hall… they dont have resto but they have a partner cafe just right beside the building. The linguini is so yummy the best!

Excellent apartment and location.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Apartment was top equipped with washing machine and dryer. Very clean. Recommended a bit noisy though, but we are in the middle of town. Top location would go back.

You get what you pay for. Great location and great price. Advertised as a 2 bed apartment but really, you get a 1bedroom apartment X2. Didnt work great with 2 young ones. Place was outdated and dusty. Air con in one room didnt work. Was offered a different room but decided to check out early and cut the losses instead. Staff seemed to be taking a lot of complaints from other unhappy customers. Definitely won't be back.

Best place to accommodate. All kitchen utensils are available for use, and self cooking is allowed. Facilities are awesome and well equipped and maintained. Gym is neat and clean, and best place to work out. Located in middle of the city, walkable distance to railway station and nearby bus stop and taxis available 24*7.

Great position right next to darling harbour and all its attraction s. Would stop here again, apts are spacious and well equipped.

Excellent location for fast access to Darling Harbour. We booked an apartment for 2 nights — they ran out of rooms and we ended up in the 3 BEDROOM PENTHOUSE! Lovely friendly accommodating front desk staff. Dated decor in rooms, (needs refurbishment) Well presented tastefully decorated & painted comfortable beds, everything you need — fully equipped kitchen, laundry, huge flat screen TV and comfortable lounges, huge 8 seater dining table great view from private balcony. Walk in wardrobe 2 bathrooms with baths & showers! This apartment would suit business people or a family for long or short term stays. Minutes to the Eastern side of Darling Harbour restaurant strip Nick's Seafood Lindt Cafe etc. Not much longer to the Conference Centre and Harbourside shopping complex. Next time we'll be staying here for sure! Challenging car parking cheaper across the road in Darling Park.

Cosy place and great ambience. Very near to Darling Harbour, CAN and Town Hall.

Great reception. Got upgraded to a better room with not so bad views for the price that I paid. Definitely recommended if needing to stay overnight for an event in Darling Harbour or Town Hall.

Don't come! Extremely terrible experience in my life. The hotel don't even have cotton quilt but uncomfortable blanket. The blanket is very tough that made us feel itch all night. After we reported, the staff said they don't have cotton quilt but mattress protecter. Besides, the room is extremely aged and dirty, we even bought a cup to drink water. I have regretted for a long time.

Ideal location rooms good size great reception staff walk in greeted you with the word sir and how was your day today. Home away from home complete with kitchen and washing machine and dryer very quiet rooms with a views to the west and darling harbour everything within walking distance close to the supermarkets in George st.

Room hot stuffy AC partially working. City noise lever unbelievable Pool reported several times as needing attention. Staff tried hard bit building let them down. Would not rate at all.

Bravo. Well run hotel. All the rooms have small kitchens and a washer and dryer. Convenient to Darby harbor where all the tourist attractions are. You'll like it.

Me and my family stayed there for 2 nights during Vivid Sydney 2017 and the staff there was very courteous. Very clean and tidy rooms. A very special thanks to Jadron, a manager at the front desk. A hotel so close & walking distance to everything.

Front desk service great and friendly. Housekeeping could be better. Requested cot and had to ask 3 times before it arrived. Only 2 towels in room even though 3 on booking and room smelt like smoke. Central location, great spot to Darling Harbour and City centre.

Hotel staff Professional, friendly attitude, clean and comfortable room, soft and comfortable bed. Wide field of vision, Wi-Fi internet access, nearby can be sightseeing shopping, parking convenient.

Our room was spacious, comfortable and clean. The underground car park is extremely narrow and difficult to navigate with a large vehicle. It's one way, with no room to pass if a vehicle is coming in the opposite direction. There is a taxi stand about 100m up the road which is convenient.

Spa didnt work in room. Paint falling off the ceiling. Terrible condition. Asked to see what could be done about it and then told that it conveniently broke yesterday even though we booked months in advance they still put us in a room that broke yesterday. Haha what a load of crock. We called it the reno room 1508. As they were mid renovations it hadnt been painted properly. Ceilings cracked. Service terrible. It will be our first and last time here. Worse condition then novotel Rockford and thats saying something.

Locate between CBD and darling harbour. Room is comfortable. But if noise from traffic at night. Staff are friendly.

TERRIBLE! Staff stole our stuff from the hotel room and other staff didn't want to help at all, seems as though they were all in on it. Will never refer this place to anyone and will always at every opportunity bad mouth it.

Nice, large and clean room at reasonable price, especially considering the location. The hotel is a quick walk to Darling Harbour or the CBD. The room itself was a self sustained apartment with full amenities. The staff were pleasant and friendly although I had limited interaction with them. The room had seen better days and a little TLC would have made the stay perfect. Some of the slats on the blinds were broken and the dryer's lint vent kept falling off. Overall, minor issues considering the price and location.

Do not stay here. Dirty. Run down. Air conditioning did not work. Staff did not know how to undertake repairs. Door key did not work. Staff need customer service training.

Great location, amazing hotel for a decent price. 5 minutes walk to Darling Harbour. Very friendly and helpful staff. Late check-out time (11am). Parking is limited so perhaps check ahead. Apartments are well kept, neat. Pool great too. Would highly recommend and would certainly stay again!

Liked the location/functionality but.

Extremely unhelpful and unfriedly. Room is not as described. Old run down and unkept. Upon check in was told you have to "request" a balcony even though it is listed as being in every wrong. Horrible depressing place.

WE STILL DON'T HAVE OUR BOND BACK! They take a $100 bond that they say will be returned to you in 5-7 working days. After many frustrating phonecalls and time on hold, they still haven't paid us back. Still waiting 3 weeks later. Room was filthy, mouldy bathroom. Harbour views that were advertised were not seen. I'm glad we got the room for cheap on wotif however there is no way in hell that this place is anything close to four stars.

Do not stay here staff were so rude and werent willing to help you in anyway. Parking is ridiculous charging $40 a night should be free to guests. Room was digusting stains on the bed and carpet. Shower is so small and cracked tiles. Our heater didnt work and it was freezing and I had my baby with me didnt compensate us at all.

Great location close to all the great venues. Good customer service. Rooms are clean shower and bathroom clean. The room is a bit outdated but all in all good facilities. Parking narrow and small. Overall pretty good.

DO NOT STAY HERE! We booked this hotel due to its close proximity to Cockle Bay as we were attending a wedding there. The rooms are not well maintained. The bathrooms are covered in mould and hair was even in the bath tub. All of this aside, we actually had our room broken into whilst we were in there. Yes, someone came into the room whilst I was showering and my fiance was asleep in bed. Apart from the money we had stolen, this is very scary from a safety perspective. The experience has been worsened by the fact that the hotel have refused to assist us in any way. In fact they have threatened to take action against us for "accusing their staff of stealing" and simply referred us to the police to investigate. Such a violiation of our safety and privacy has been met with zero assistance from the hotel staff. Not even a refund on the room has been given. Worse still, we were actually charged further for parking after having reported the incident because as far as the hotel was concerned "they had no evidence that anyone had actually stolen from us". Zero customer service. One of the worst experiences of my life let alone staying in a hotel.

I have stayed at these apartments several times, close to Darling Harbor and City, an excellent location. Unfortunately the rooms are becoming very tired and in need of an update, frayed/stained carpet, stains on curtains, maintenance issues not dealt with, and a lack of cutlery/crockery, why have a full size dishwasher! A roll away bed was not in our room on arrival although requested on our reservation. House keeping not leaving enough towels. The fact that the Front Desk personnel had to come up to check out maintenance issues and bring us extra towels, I found very strange why is there no maintenance/housekeeping personnel on duty.

Staff were extremely rude, Place was very disgusting, the mould in the bathroom was so thick and everywhere, it has not been cleaned for mould for years. The grout was all black and the mould was so thick it was the worst I have seen anywhere!. I would not recommend this Hotel at all. Don't waste your money stay somewhere else. I would rather of paid to stay at a hostel than this hotel. It should be rated at a 2 star that's it.

Rude, $15/day Wi-Fi, absolutely filthy: hairs, rust and blood specs (? ) in the bathroom.

Lovely location and lovely view. Yet the service was absolutely bad. The burner in the room that we booked was broken. I called twice and asked can they send someone and check it. But no one came. Such a wonderful 4 stars service.
