Love this place ❤️❤️. Always stay here when in Sydney.

Visited for Hot Rod Expo and stayed in Panorama Room — comfortable, modern with great views all round. Staff friendly and helpful as always. Great food, free parking. Great buffet breakfast. Always try stay here when in Sydney and will be retuning again for next year's expo.

Very clean rooms, friendly and helpful staff, good amenities.

3 customers in the restaurant and I still had to wait 35 min for a glass of juice. Service was dismal.

Rooms were nice and modern and loved the views towards parramatta skyline. Indoor pool is heated, but of course the chlorine smell is strong and u need 2 showers to get it off. Parking is free which is good.

Friendly, quiet rooms, good service.

Is a good place to stay. Rooms are good size. Food menu is good too.

This is the third time we have stayed here, a very nice hotel good size rooms great staff and in a great place close to Parramatta.

I certainly wouldn’t recommend staying here —
First of all the service at the restaurant was disgraceful — they forgot my order and it ended up taking 45 min for dinner to be served when it was fairly quiet and the food is majorly overpriced.
Secondly the soft ‘Dream’ mattresses they have in every room is a nightmare for anyone with a bad back or heavier then 50kg
And lastly charging $30 for a buffet breakfast which doesn’t include any expresso coffee is a joke-
Pull your socks up Rydges.

Nice place to stay, nice people that work there.
However, do not order room service desert, it's terrible and way over prced.
from the freezer to your plate. Bring your own chocolate or lower your standard.

LOve the large family suites that accommodate a family of 5 without having to get interconnecting rooms! and the view is stunning! the food, the service all top notch.

The front desk staff were so friendly, helpful and just so accommodating.
The hotel room was comfortable and very well maintained.

Would not even waste your time making a booking here. Made a booking to be told four hours before check in it had been cancelled the reason was the card didn’t work. Well here is heads up Alice (manager) Cards wont work if you put wrong numbers in. Asked to retry again and book only to be told they had sold the room in a matter of minutes.

3 night business stay. Staff friendly. Shower water pressure was good. Room facilities good. Only downside was trying to get through to them on the phone prior to arrival. Had to hold for more than 15mins. Gave up in the end.

Came here for a seminar that was about an hour long on Tuesday night. Plenty of parking which was free. Our seminar was in the ballroom which was a decent size for the size of the seminar. The food was acceptable for a free night however volume was a little low for the number of guests. Service was great.

I booked a Saturday high tea. We were seated in a quiet setting which was nice. The food portions were very generous and tasty. The staff were really friendly and there was plenty of free parking. Great value for money and would recommend.

Comfy beds, nice rooms, convenient location to Rosehill racecourse. Great breakfast. Just needed the bar to be open an hour longer and didn't need the loudmouth bouncer yelling and screaming like an idiot. If he acted like that here someone would have knocked him out.

Fabulous stay, free upgrade to King Suite without even asking, very thoughtful helpful staff. Scoopon Deal awesome, allowed us to stay and enjoy, where otherwise couldn't. Thanks Rydges! I will be recommending at every opportunity.

Check in was fast, staff were friendly and facilities were good. The "gym" is just a multifunction cable machine, a rower, treadmill and elliptical. We had a couple sorry towels however they were replaced upon request. The pool was good and the sauna in the toilet was very relaxing. Overall a good stay.

Visiting Sydney to attend a course for the week, as soon as I walked in and was greeted by the receptionist I immediately felt comfortable, safe and quite excited! The room I had was lovely and modern and extremely clean. I had an amazing view over the race course and I could see the city of Sydney and the Harbour Bridge in the distance. I had room service two nights, tho a bit exie, was delicious and arrived promptly. All staff were freindly, courteous and helpful and I appreciated there was parking onsite.

I really love this hotel. I've been here to stay and also for training and events. The location is great, I also like the fact that car parking is easy to access and out the front of the hotel so there is no need to navigate a narrow, dark underground car park (which I hate). Rooms are lovely and clean. I wouldn't hesitate in staying again and recommending this hotel to others.

Nice rooms, good Wi-Fi, friendly staff, in room meals a bit pricey for what they are.

We stayed here for a funeral. I made a request for an early check in and when we arrived at 10am which I said I would be on the booking they said our room wasn't ready, so we had to get changed in the bathrooms downstairs.
We then left for the funeral. Only to come back at 10pm at night and they had not organised our room. As I was travelling with my father we booked a room where the beds were split and when we walked in they had the beds placed together. Reception came up and informed us that housekeeping had forgotten to do our room and that it would take half an hour to prepare another room for us.
I was not happy about the lack of organisation.

The room was great. Breakfast was way too much @ $100 a room. Sofa bed had a orange stain that my son needed to sleep on.

Location very easy to get, near by station. Service very nice even though I wasn't the guest member but got services like water and free fruits and all.

Went on a work stay. As usual we were happy enough with it. Good restaurant but upstairs our beds were too soft. Never heard that one before? They were a king made into 2 small narrow singles and they really sloped away so you felt. Like you were falling out. Good bathrooms and I am particular about bathrooms. But more than happy this time around.

12mths ago I would have given this place 5 stars. Now I'm being generous giving it 2 stars.

Worst experience I have ever had, not only was the place dirty with stains on the bedsheets and old food left in the room from the previous occupants, the receptionist was very dry and rude, they also messed up our coffee order (not the end of the world) and the food was not great at all for the $30 each we had to pay for a buffet breakfast the food was dry and looked like it had been sitting there for 2 days. The breakfast staff then had an argument with us saying we had already checked out, we explained 6 times what room we were in and that we hadn’t checked out as all of our belongings were still in the room and we still had a key. The staff didn’t believe us until we pulled out the room key to prove it. When we finally did go down to check out (should have been a 2 min job) and head to an event half an hour away they tried to double charge us for the coffee order they messed up. Then when I said to the woman at reception why is it costing us $87 she said I had 4 coffees and 2 breakfast and when I told her we only ordered two coffee she looked at me like I was speaking another language obviously didn’t believe me again. After about 10-15 mins trying to check out we finally got out and ended up being late to the event we were headed to. Thanks Rydges Parramatta. Would not recommend coming here.

The pool and the Spa were both freezing cold. You couldn't stay in the pool at all it was so cold. We booked online and thought we had booked into a room with a bath. Which was not the hotel's fault. However, the manager was rude and unhelpful. The breakfast was big but definitely not cheap. There are a number of restaurant's close by to have dinner. The variety of different Price's and cuisine's is vast and within walking distance of the hotel.

Stayed for a weekend here for a convention. Spacious room and a very clean environment. Great view from the window. Bed was super comfortable and nice mini bar with snacks and drinks (extra charge). Staff at the reception was very polite. Some bad points though: — There was no towels, and missing toothbrushes in the bathroom. Had to call front desk for them to be sent. — I was staying only one floor above the restaurant next to the lobby. Can hear noises if there is a funtion or event going on in there. — Had a housekeeping staff coming in without knocking when I was still in bed few hours before check out, said something in a foreign language (probably surprised to see a person in the room) and left without apologizing. Scared the hell out of me. Complained by email and to the front desk. Manager called few days later to explain that the housekeeping was meant to enter the room next to mine, but she made a mistake. He apologized and said the staff has been disciplined. End of story. Lovely hotel to stay at, really. But I won't be considering going back after this experience.

The rooms are small and have a small bathroom. They have two restaurants and if you're a member you get great discounts. Great spa jacuzzi a little cold the pool is too cold to use. They have a small gym next to the pool. It's a shame they have the steam room and sauna in the toilets so you can't do it together with your husband and wife. They have terrific facilities it's just not good that it's to cold to use the pool. It's definitely geared towards the racing clients with it being so close to the dog races and the sports stadium but I don't think that they need the game blaring out of every channel. Convenient place to stay for sports and racing fan's.

Beautifully presented immaculately tidy comfortable rooms, magnificent views, clean, well presented bathrooms. Comfortable conference rooms for varying size crowds. Sumptuous buffet breakfasts with hot food cooked right in front of you, seasonal fruit, juices, self serve teas and coffees, cereals, pastries, breads you name it! Not much available for Gluten Free. Very little. Comfortable bar/lounge area, spacious lavish lobby, friendly staff. Close to Parramatta, quiet though surrounded by traffic! Id recommend it highly!

Attended Rydges Rosehill for a weekend. Front Desk service was excellent — no fuss in checking-in or checking out. The rooms have recently been refurbished and are of a high standard — particularly the bathrooms. TV with all fox channels available + well stocked mini bar. The beds are very comfortable and the room I had (standard twin) contained separate chairs coffee table. Dining options at the hotel are very good from formal restaurant + another more relaxed area and a "pub' style area downstairs that also has hot snacks. Rooms on the West side avoid any noise from James Ruse Drive.

Couldn't think of a more unprofessional, inappropriate, low quality hotel — deep regrets for coming here & won't be here again. No privacy, passive aggressive staff & beyond awful service besides maybe 1 or 2 staff. Definitely tops a 3 star hotel. Really angry and really disappointed, more draining than r&r.

Rydges Parramatta is located on James Ruse Drive — very close to the M4 which makes it a great place to stay when visiting Sydney. Many wonderful restaurants in Parramatta and only a quick 20 minute drive into the city. The staff were professional and helpful on checking in. The breakfast was delicious with a wide variety of cooked and cold food. My family and I loved the location and ease with parking.

My partner and I stayed here last week. It's a nice hotel. The bed is comfortable but the room is not soundproof. You can hear the other guests when they are talking along the hallway or when they shut their door. The in-house breakfast was good! The chef's really nice and accommodating. The pool and spa is OK. It's just next to the gym. We stayed here for two nights but housekeeping never cleaned our room. I asked for a new set of towels instead and they provided it immediately when I saw them cleaning other rooms. I called Room Service around 8PM and asked them if they have a birthday candle and a lighter/match. It took them a while to find some but they made it happen! The lady who came to my room to deliver the candle and the lighter (which is actually owned by the Chef) is really nice! I very much appreciate the fact that they really put in a lot of effort to provide what I asked for.

Great conference/meeting room facilities on the top floor overlooking the race course. Great catering available too.

The ballroom was the perfect size for our function. The staff were absolutely awesome for their services! They were very hospitable, we did not feel disadvantaged being vegan which was wonderful!

A little disappointed that the bathroom had no vanity. This made it difficult to access your toiletries. Also the shower curtin wss very dirty. I mentioned it to the staff and they were very understanding.

Beds are super comfortable and good for an easy over night sleep. Staff very nice. Would reccomend.

Rooms are modern and nice. Staff were friendly. The buffet breakfast was better than a normal buffet but it's still a buffet. Though there is a chef to cook fresh eggs.

As a long term visitor of this hotel I can say without doubt it's simply one of the best I have been to by far. Right from when you walk into the hotel you always feel at home. The modern entry and comfortable design with the always amazing front of house staff. Rooms are spacious and cater for all your needs with great beds and comfortable settings. 3 restaurants to choose from with an ever changing menu. Catering to the more refined taste buds to the over the bar Parma at the post. The staff are a great credit to the hotel and always try to accomodate any request. My home away from home.

Rydges Parramatta is in a good spot. It's a little out of the way so there is only very little noise but close enough that you can easily walk to Westfield or the train station. The room was spacious and had a desk, large TV, a bathtub and a decent view. However the water pressure in the shower was lower than expected. If you have an event on at the convention then staying at Rydges is a no-brainer.

Came for a conference. The ground floor conference room was great, with a decent break out area and toilet nearby. The hotel is easy to get to by car but not near a train station.

Lovely staff. Nice clean tidy rooms. Food at the Bar and Grill restaurant was deliscious. Pleasure to stay there.

Staying here for work. Staff are really nice and the rooms are large. Location is OK however not much around within walking distance.

I liked the Show package. Made it so easy for country people to have a great time at the show without stressing about buses and trains. The kids loved, loved, loved the buffet at breakfast and the parents thoroughly enjoyed the buffet dinner. Great job… our new 'home' in Sydney. Look forward to seeing it after the renovations. Thats probably only negative, bathroom basin was cracked, towels a bit tired.

Water pressure in shower not so great but hopefully will improve with renovations starting shortly. Facilities and location perfect for my trip. Steeds Grill and Bar was excellent with professional service, good menu and importantly a great steak! The only negative was the credit card surcharge added to the bill when the balance of my account was settled by EFTPOS from my savings account rather than credit card.

I have a travel Profile when booking my accommodation as I travel frequently for my work. One important note is to have a quiet room. The room I was placed in faced the Parramatta Rd intersection which even at 2 in the morning is used by heavy vehicles. Due to the fact you do not have tempered glass and the your windows seals are in need of replacement I had the pleasure of being woken at intervals which meant a poor night sleep. I also pointed out to your Manager with photos the terrible state of the windows and that it seems by the state of them the cleaners have not paid them any attention for a very very long time. It is a pity I can not attach the photos so you would be able to understanding fully what it looked like,.

1. Spa didn't work correctly only 1 side worked and middle jet was bubbling out of the water and to strong to use and other working jets did nothing. 2. Had 2 Stallion Icced Tea made by the same person that where totally different. 3. Honey Garlic loaf was just garlic bread with honey poured over top expected a small loaf that was honey and garlic flavoured. 4. Entree was to die for loved it Prawns melted in your mouth 5. Main came out and was very disappointed, Balmain Bugs where charcoal and inedible tried to eat it with sage butter but tasted like just eating melted butter. When the female staff member finally come over to ask how our meal was, which was after my Fiance had completed my meal. I explained I was sorry but just could not eat mine due to the charcoal burnt flavour of the bugs went into the meat and the sage butter was just meted butter. She never returned after taking the meal back to the kitchen it was about 5 to 10 minutes before she returned asking if we would like dessert, which by that stage we didn't feel like anything and said might get room service later. When my fiance went and paid she explained that we still had to pay for the BUGS but could have a complimentary dessert after we explained we didn't wont one and was paying at the front. I couldn't believe that we had to pay for an almost $50 meal that was INEDIBLE was not impressed but instead of spoiling our evening even more said we will discuss it in the morning when we check out. 6.

When race days conclude at Rosehill Gardens, a flow of people head towards Rydges and emit a lively vibe from the joint. Unfortunately, I have never congregated during that period and only experienced certain events at Rydges' function room. On the several occasions, the food served were mediocre and the decor was elementary. Not a joint I would go for a party.

This is the second time we have stayed here. Once again I have to comment on the lack of basic maintenance in the rooms, dripping taps, plug that doesn't fit the basin, heating unit didn't seem to work properly, not warm enough and we had it on high. Perhaps maintenance should spend a night in each room to assess the work needed. Surprised that the bar was not open on Sunday evening, it was suggested that we go to the downstairs bar, but sorry, that is not a nice place to have a drink surrounded by TAB facilities. I know you had a busy night the night before with the race day crowd but what about the guests in the hotel?

Arrived tired after busy day. Check in was simple and fast, room was pleasant and bed very comfortable. Upon check in I indicated my exhaustion and that I was heading straight to bed. Just got in shower and there was a knock on door… someone wanting the measure the wardrobe for renovations. Fair enough and he was nice, but agreed to leve it till the morning. My only other niggle was the lack of power points close to the bed to charge devices. A very impressive multimedia connection hub on desk below the TV. For me, if was what's needed, quiet, comfortable bed, easy parking and no hassle check in and check out.

Great spa and Pool and great food.

My family and I just had the seafood/ steak buffet, cooked by what I can say, one of the best chefs. It was an absolute pleasure to have the food melt in our mouth, the food was cooked to perfection and full of flavour. I seriously can not remember the last time I ate food that I could only dream of eating when you go out for a great meal. A chef that cares what the dinners want.

We would like to thank all the staff especially Jess and the girls in the restaurant they were all very helpful and friendly. They hotel does need an update and is fairly noisy with the music going until 11pm.

We stayed for the Bledisloe Cup. They had a great package that included a bus to and from the hotel to the game, and breakfast. I am a GHA Black member and they went out of their way to recognise this, with an upgrade to a room with a panoramic view, a bottle of sparkling wine and cheese — the room was lovely and the trip home was nice and easy without having to negotiate through Sydney CBD.

This is near the race course and get packed out on race days. After the races are over it is the place to go but can be full of lots of racegoers who have already had lots to drink. Better to go into Parramatta and try one of the bars there.

The place has the typical quality of a rydges hotel chain, with good organisation and staff management. However, the location is alittle bit far from the Parramatta train station. Rosehill station is nearby, but runs only hourly.
