Staff very friendly. Room was nice and Cosy. Breakfast was nice too. Pool next to restaurant is a bit uncomfortable because it's not really ok to sunbake an Longue by the pool and have some family and their kids gazing at you. Few minor cleanliness issues however once reported we're 100% satisfactorily resolved. Was charged for mini bar items however we didn't consume so ensure you take a pic before you check-out. Drive in there is romantic (500ms away). Room provides great romantic atmosphere and the showers great too. Great to reconnect with that loved one. 4/5 if your looking to spend all time in bed or the room. 2.5/5 if your looking for the hotel as a means of entertainment.

Love it here its so good and relaxed the decor is so cool and the rooms are great. Im in a wheelchair and its one of the best hotels I've stayed in. The staff is great, my family and I will be coming back again! can't wait. My little boy got a show bag when we got here full of cool things so great!

Called to book for a family of four, they failed to mention that they DO NOT ACCEPT AUSTRALIAN CASH
So we get there, order drinks, look at the menu only to be told while trying to pay for our drinks that they don’t accept money. So we get the kids in the car and go somewhere where they accept AUSTRALIAN CASH
I think they should have on their media pages that they only accept card so people don’t bother wasting their time going.

Highly recommend Atura Blacktown. We held a function there tonight — fantastic service and attentive staff. Facilities were clean, food was great and would definately visit again!

Christmas lunch was great! Staff seem in sync with each other which helped with the flow of the event. Thoughtful in delivery of little things such as presents for the kids. Food was fantastic, drinks kept on coming, couldn’t ask for more! I think we will be back next Christmas.

Another fantastic experience at one of my favourite places friendly staff, amazing atmosphere & gorgeous rooms with divine smelling beauty bits.

The service at check in, bar and restaurant is dull and slow. No recognition of frequent guests. Staff seem unexcited about their jobs.

Staff were friendly but that is it. We stayed on Saturday night for a function. Prior checking I was told on the phone that the restuarant is open as normal with Mothers day lunch happening. We had a group of 20+ people wanting lunch after staying the night and was told the restuarant is closed til 6pm. Mix communication from different staff. Was only allow to buy snack food from the counter (packet chips etc). We were not allowed to order food (Uber eats etc. ) to be brought… to the court yard as majority have checked out but still spending time with family. Very disappointing. Very hungry adults & Children Another concern was the smoking area — Outside down on your Right. People coming in for their Mothers day meal were smothered in Tabacco smell before entry. I notice other area around the hotel that could be designated smoking areas. View in one of our rooms was just a brick wall. If I knew the service was like this I would of travelled back home after the function. Too Many negatives then positives with Atura Blacktown.

Had such a wonderful stay, and such a fun night popping next door to the drive-in cinema! Staff were lovely, food was wonderful, and the pool is just the perfect place to unwind. Loved the room. We also visited the newly renovated Royal Cricketer's Arms Pub next door, which has the most beautiful beer garden and lovely atmosphere. Will be back!

Stayed at the Atura Blacktown last week. Check in was fine. Bed was comfortable, free minibar was enjoyed. The showerhead was pretty bad — seemed blocked so the water didn't spray out properly. The next morning I needed to iron my dress as I was presenting at a conference later that morning. Ironing board was broken. Tried to call reception for a replacement. No answer. 45mins of trying to balance the board on something and had to give up. Went to use the make-up mirror, it …was broken. The mirror part had snapped off the base and was just balancing so couldn't be moved. Tried to report this on check out but the girl on the desk couldn't have been less interested. So I arrived at the conference late and with creased clothes. On arriving home I noticed, in the chaos of trying to iron my clothes and get out on time I had left my pyjama pants behind. I messaged the Atura using their website — days passed with no reply. I called and explained the situation. The person I spoke to told me they would get back to me later that day. Its 2 days later, still no contact. Given how much time has passed I would be willing to bet that my lost item has long since been thrown away or lost for good. I stayed in Blacktown so the morning of my presentation would be relaxed and stress-free. I would have been better to stay home, get up early and deal with Sydney traffic. I have made every attempt to sort this out before leaving this review.

Good news first. The staff were excellent and courteous and the service great. I loved the main area with dining, bar and play area. Great place to hang out. The pool area looked great too though it was too cold to use at my stay. What wasn't so great for me was I didn't like the room. Personally I don't like concrete no matter how hard you try to soften it up. And what is with the huge yellow spot on the ceiling… ick! The beds were very uncomfortable. Don't like memory foam. And my only other complaint would be I wish the bar stayed open longer. Though I was told it stayed open depending on how much money it was making. Shame. Not sure I'd stay again but I would come for a meal or drinks.

Easy to find, big clean building. It would have been nice to be acknowledged when we walked in rather than just stand and wait, even a nod, smile, or be right with you. It was also obvious the fella who checked us in had somewhere he'd rather be. My phone request for early check in if possible was granted. The room is a room, its clean and has anything you need for a night stay. Restaurant in the foyer was expensive and nothing special, my burger was the size of a slider and there should be more budget priced wine, $40 for lunch wine is over the top. Also one bloke serving on a Saturday afternoon is not enough. A great night sleep in a comfortable clean bed was lovely.

Went here on a RedBalloon experience gifted by some friends. Really funky, open areas with lots of quirky features. Food and drinks were good and staff were lovely. Only annoying things was that we were allocated a 'King room' but it was just two single beds pushed together and you could really feel the middle and there was no kettle in the room, had to pull out the coffee machine to get boiling water.

I’m not really sure why anyone goes to Blacktown but if you’re in the area and need a place to stay this is a pretty good place to try. The rooms are spacious and well appointed. The bed was big and I had a great nights sleep. There is a small kitchenette with an espresso coffee machine and complementary minibar if you have booked direct with them. The breakfast had a great selection and the coffee machine coffee wasn’t too bad! There are conference rooms here as well and they are well appointed and the setup very professional.

Had many short stays here and it never ceases to disappoint. Customer service is excellent! The breakfast buffet is a bit pricey though. Overall a great experience!

Excellent service, great food. The function room was perfect. The only negative was the manager who had no idea what he was doing and needed assistance to settle our bill which took 10 mins.

Right from when you walk in your welcomed by friendly staff and the atmosphere of the restaurant, bar and pool area is exciting. The chefs make an amazing buffet breakfast, you have a choice of everything you could ever want and will leave you full of energy for the day. The bartenders are very skilled in their knowledge of cocktails and I got to try some drinks I've never had before. The rooms were so stylish, spacious, immaculate and comfy. It's in a great location as it's quiet but also has the skyline drive inn and the cricketers arms club next door and the featherdale wildlife sanctuary a short drive away. I would definitely stay here again, wish we could of stayed longer.

Amazing hotel! Room was beautiful, high ceilings, perfect amenities. Bar in resturant was great. Pool is stunning. Only letdowns was the breakfast buffet and the fact the hotel shares a road with the drive in. So you get stuck in traffic for over an hour trying to get back your room.

Jumped on red balloon to purchase the ‘date night ‘ package well was a little underwhelmed by it on arrival I informed the staff at desk that I was just checking in and going straight to the drive in as movie was due to start well park of the package was strawberries and cream and tequila shots on arrival she I assumed we would be offered those after the movie or it would be in put room. We returned from the movie and ducked up to the room no sign of them but we were going to be late for dinner booking so went strait to restaurant. After being seated we were given regular menus we looked them over and staff asked for our order I let her know we had the date night where she apologised and gave us a set menu with 3 mains and 3 desserts to choose from this was disappointing I can have lasagne or parmigiana any night at home and we were looking forward to other things on the menu that I had looked up earlier
We were given garlic bread and our meals came although they were nice hubby had the chilli crab pasta which had no chilli and barely any crab we were just finishing our mains and I could see chef preparing desserts an they were sitting on the pass when waitress cleared our table our desserts came immediately which meant they weren’t really warm and icecream was melted.
We did enjoy the meal but was definitely looking forward to something else.

The rooms are so funky my wife and I loved it the only thing we did not like was the food and drinks was expensive. We were not game to use the mini bar even though I book directly and the sign stated if I booked directly the mini bar was free we dared not take any chances. We stayed as my wife was celebrating her 50th birthday and I could not be happier with your staff and we would like to stay another night in the future. Thank you.

We’ve purchsed a drive-in movie + overnight stay from red balloon and it was fantastic. The hotel is a well designed and comfortable place to stay. The rooms are very cute, with all necessities equipment. The breakfast was delicious too, definitely recommended.

We attended here for a friends wedding and it was fine. The room was a bit small but other than that the mini-bar was free for online bookings. They did advertise free Foxtel however it's only about 5 channels which most of them are sports. The bar staff and other staff were very friendly so that was great and all the facilities were very clean and tidy. There's not much around the surrounding area but if there was then I'd definitely stay here again.

The decor is funky and modern. It is such a clean and well presented motel. The resturant serves delicious meals. The rooms have everything to make the stay comfortable. Free movies! The pool and outdoor area is a lovely place to relax. This was our third stay and we've already booked again.

I loved staying at this extraordinary place, kids loved it too. Worth just booking in for a family holiday! The hotel has plenty of entertainment plus Wet n Wild and a drive in movie centre right next door. The Cricketers Arms has a wonderful not typically pub-like vibe and is also just next door.

The room was very comfortable and almost soundproof — other than Christmas party noise that leaked in through the door but it wasn't too bad. Nice touches in the room, everything we needed in the bathroom (the same toiletries I found on a recent holiday in a 5 star hotel in Noumea! ). Breakfast was tasty — I'd only say an egg chef would be the only thing I'd want, which is usually fairly standard in a 4 star hotel. Overall very satisfied and it was a relaxing short break.

Hidden just of the great western highway. Literally 5 mins away from. Wet and wild and situated on the same grounds as the blacktown outdoor cinemas this hidden jewel is a place that deserves more exposure. You will be greeted by an Ultra modern new age decor styled hotel. Free access to pool and facilities for guests who don't even have to stay overnight. There is a lavish pool, snooker table, games, and other things to do free of charge. Well priced food. And surprisingly a whisky bar with a decent selection of choices you are hard pressed to find in most places. The went upstairs and and saw the rooms. Modern decor, and brand new the hotel is only 4 years old. We enjoyed a drink and some hot chips. But we are already planning to go bad can to eat and enjoy what this place has to offer. The staff were very friendly and we enjoyed their company. 5 stars.

Might look like an architectural masterpiece however inside the concrete is cracked, it's filled with cheap plywood furniture. The rooms are very narrow. My room had no working telephone, the safe didn't work. Standard Staples within a hotel suite normal cover two adults for tea and coffee, not here unless you take one sugar and only want two coffees per day. Staff barely acknowledge guests, unless you're checking in or paying for something otherwise you're treated like a piece of furniture. The pool is barely a bath, only 1.15metres deep.

A very chill and chic place to bring either family, friends or a loved one to grab dinner and sit and talk. The customer service is absolutely wonderful. All staff members were friendly, polite and quick to serve.

We had a package of Drive-in plus overnight stay at Atura, and I have to say it was fantastic. The hotel is very cool in both senses of the word, and we had everything we wanted. The drive-in was a great change from going to the movies, and we loved being so close to our digs for the night. Plenty of food choices for dinner and breakfast, and sitting out watching the kids playing in the pool over breakfast made it feel like we were on holiday. I'd thoroughly recommend this experience!

Deffinately not what I was expecting as the description on the website implies its a unique retro experience that takes you back.
Blacktown has very little excitement. And this was another let down.
Aside from the staff and the amazing service, this needs something more. There are no views, nothing else but the drive ins as entertainment and sitting at the bar drinking $15 cocktails. Blessed with "free movies " in our room… why give free movies, give us Foxtel so we can watch or listen to music.
This was expensive for no reason and when compared to cheaper coastal "motels ", this has nothing to bring me back.
Dissapointed that people from outside were able to utilize the area as well, banking up parking and taking up what small space there is in the courtyard… this only pushed us to our room as we felt unwelcome in the main areas due to how many people for an event were using the space. The pool table is outdated. You dont know where to even check in as the check in desk looks like a cafe! Drunk people in the foyer and only one Cadillac. Website implies or shows otherwise. Dont callit retro whenit just isnt. Smallest pool which is more like a lap pool and kids everywhere. People with kids coming in from outside as if its the local swimming spot. No smoking unless you go down outside and around the corner. Rooms are superb but just nothing to do in them. It was great to try. But we wont be back.

Went to Atura as part of a Red Balloon Drive in Movie and Overnight Stay Package. It was so much fun! What a funky and different hotel. So modern and cool. Not to mention the food was fantastic! We had dinner and it was GREAT! Rooms are a bit dark but it just makes it romantic. Thanks for the great stay Atura!

We stayed overnight for a night at the drive-in, right next door, and it was good. Staff accommodated our 6yo son with no extra charge, Wi-Fi and movies were free and the bistro was delicious.

Really nice rooms, fresh, clean, modern and comfortable. The whole hotel had really nice design features. The parking was ample and free. Friendly helpful staff.

Easiest way to do this review will be to list the things I loved (no particular order) : -Caddy parked out the front -Super chill layout of the open bar area -Relaxing vibe -The staff were accommodating to my early check-in and late checkout request with no fuss or extra charges -Clean room (yes even the bathroom didn't have water spots) -Easy to get around accessible room -Super comfy king size bed -Wall mounted TV you can adjust to where you want -Location of hotel (between drive in and pub) -The friendliness and professional staff who clearly enjoy their work (one actually told me) -Free Wi-Fi, pool use, pool table and arcade Bonus free mini bar Only downside: I was there for one night and couldn't experience it all. Overall, there is a lot more I can say but I'm pretty certain I already sound like I'm a fan girl. I definitely will be back but will also keep an eye out for other Atura hotels. I've lost count with how many hotels I've stayed at over the years and can honestly say this is the only one that has ticked all boxes for me.

Celebrated my brother's birthday there at breakfast. The manager and staff are awesome. It's a very friendly environment. And their breakfast buffet is scrumptious! Love it!

We had such a fun and comfortable stay. The room was great and really funky. The movie selection on the TV was brilliant and the food in the restaurant was super tasty. Thanks to all the very friendly staff who made our stay a very pleasant one.

Very nice hotel, bar and restaurant very stylish and the food was decent. The menu is failry limited but everything on the menu is great (we had a group booking and everyone liked their meals). Friendly staff, clean and modern. Didn't stay at the hotel so can't comment on rooms, but the setting is nice and the hotel looks modern and stylish, pool area looked very inviting despite the cold weather.

We had a really nice overnight stay at Atura (it is a really nice modern hotel). The movie theatre was really fun. I read the other reviews about the hotel not having open windows and rude staff but our experience was wonderful. The a/c provided a really nice temperature in the room, the breakfast buffet was varied and delicious and the receptionist (I wish I took down her name) was friendly and a credit to the motel.

I stayed on Saturday 30 July with my family (2 adults, 4 children) in 2 interconnected rooms, my sisters and another couple also stayed with their families. Everyone had a great stay. Beds were comfortable, rooms were spacious, free Wi-Fi and movies were great, breakfast was a treat. Overall a great stay.

Rooms are comfortable, including features like decent Wi-Fi, free on demand movies and Foxtel is a welcome bonus. If eating in-house, try the pork chop! They have a James Squires happy hour from 4-6pm also.

Kept the kitchen open for me as my plane was delayed and didn't get there till after 9pm. Great hotel, comfortable rooms.

I arrived on a Thursday evening. I called first to find out if they were any availabilities, as I was outside I was invited to come in to check in straight away. Upon check in I was not informed about any of the commodities offered at the hotel, breakfast and dinner included. If I wanted information, I had to fish for them. I found out that they were no room services, that you had to order take away and carry your tray in your room, which I did. How cheap! The food was not so good either. I got a king bedroom. I entered the room and it smelled at cigarette smoke, I rang reception and within 10 minutes they moved me in a new room. The room was dirty. Flying bugs in the bathroom and in the bed. Vanity was not clean, long black hair stuck on the sink and in towels. Short black hair stuck on the wall and above the bathroom door. The room was so dirty and dusty I had an allergy reaction and I had to leave in the middle of the night you find a chemist and buy some antihistamine tablets. The following morning, I went for breakfast, I saw breakfast was 20 dollars with the room upon booking but, I was not told I could have this option upon arrival. I went to reception and asked about it and I was told I could not get this deal as I should have done it when booking and not when checking in. Let me remind you that I was advised to come in and to check in directly rather that to book over the phone! The whole experience was a joke!

For a young family on a budget, needing to stay in western sydney — I decided to give the Atura a go. We usually stay at the Ibis in Wentworthville. Of course Atura is much hipper, but comparable in price. Shame we didnt have more time to visit the drive ins next door, take a swim in the pool, or go to the theme park but we'll do that next time. Loved the Loved the decor, quiet room was great. Bed was a little too soft for me but I slept well so thats the important thing. Also loved the free movies on demand. Lots to like and would definitely recommend to friends and family.

We were very happy with our stay. Everything was clean and staff were very friendly and very obliging. We will use this Hotel again when coming to Sydney. Thank you to all staff, you are doing a great job.

To have an honest feedback I must say that when calling from the hotel room asking for some champagne glasses they would not bring them up we instead had to go down to the bar from the room collect the glasses and go back up to the room which it's not a big deal for me cause I need the excercise haha but just In case for future customers delivery to the rooms would give an extra tick in customer service. Also compliments to the Head Chef (Sidney) & team in the kitchen for the most sufficient hospitality anyone could ask for the food was on point, delicious, well presented and tasted amazing. Good service and all round experience please pass on my thanks to the Atura reception very helpful and again To Sidney head chef big thumbs up :) 10/10 100%

I stayed at Atura on the 1st of March for the purpose of business with my room pre-booked by the organisation I am employed with. Upon arriving, I was asked to give my card details for the $200 security deposit (normal procedure, as expected). The staff were pleasant, the bar and leisure space down near the reception had a great vibe and the room was comfy. I left early the following morning very happy. All was well. Later that week I checked my bank account to see if the security deposit had returned only to notice a further $166.46 (the price of the room) had been taken out of my account! I NEVER gave permission for the cost of the room to be taken out of my account and I would not have noticed if I hadn't have been checking. At no point did they attempt to call me about this matter. I called them the following day (6th March) to see why the room was charged to me. They told me that they attempted to contact the travel agency the room was booked through (to get a charge-back) and said that they couldn't make contact, so they took the money from my account instead. When I returned to work the next Monday, I informed the travel company of the issue and they contacted Atura to resolve the issue, who assured me the funds would be returned immediately. So I decided to wait a week to allow enough time for the funds to clear. The security deposit was returned later this week. Another week later, two weeks since my stay, still the funds were not returned.

The Atura had such a great vibe upon my arrival. Cadillac parked out the front, bar and restaurant in the room you enter. There appeared to be a pool party happening too. Check in was simple and my room was a short walk away. When I walked into the room the thing I noticed straight away was the ceiling. It was high. It made the room feel very spacious. The king sized bed was comfortable. There was free Wi-Fi, gym and pool use. The only downside, I felt was the lack of a central room lighting. Which left the room feeling darkened at times. The location is difficult for those without a car as I couldn't find public transport that suited my needs. However, for those looking for a holiday getaway, the Atura is right behind the last remaining drive in cinema in NSW, complete with retro diner. A short walk away is the Royal Cricketer's Arms and slightly further is Wet & Wild. Overall, the Atura was a great place to stay with an amazing atmosphere and I would recommend it to anyone.

Great hotel, nice layout, staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms clean on arrival. I stayed for 5 days and the voucher initiative to help the environment by not getting new towels and stuff everyday is awesome. Only criticism would be maybe reminding guests that are on those tourists buses as they are checking in, to be a little quiet at 6am when they are leaving their rooms. And wouldnt mind knowing how to make the bar fridge a bit cooler. Other then that id definatley stay again.

The rooms are good, free movies are good (need updating but), free bottle of water is good. Couple of suggestions, allow guests into breakfast a bit early if only after cold food (breakfast nartzi won't let us in) & if staying multiple nights shouldn't the rooms be made up fully?

This is the best hotel, Amazing Comfortable rooms, Beautiful Cozy dining and breakfast area, Pool tables and bar and last but not least the pool takes the cake and the customer service and staff take the cherry on the top Rating 10 out of 10

We have stayed with Atura Blacktown numerous times now, just as a couple, and with our children in a separate room. Each and every time we have thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The pool is wonderful, the restaurant food delicious, and the proximity to the drive-in and local shopping is perfect. The rooms are spacious, and a little something different. Highly recommended.

This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed at I have stayed at over 100 hotels Firstly check in was horrible we were assigned wrong bed configuration and reception lady rude Secondly breakfast was horrible floors dirty tables dirty Room was disgusting ceiling had water marks from leaks and room was not cleaned properly Worst money ever spent Do not recommend it.

I arrived and checked in at Atura. I checked in online the evening before and requested a room with a king bed. I went to the room I was assigned and it was a twin. After they changed the room I was then interrupted by housekeeping an hour later wanting the clean the room — a bit of miscommunication here. I started to consume some nuts from the minibar and noticed an odd taste, on checking the nuts I noticed they were out of date. When trying to contact reception I tried continually from the I house phone for 15 minutes and could not get anyone. Then I tried my personal mobile and got an answer after 10 minutes of continuous trying. I ordered a cheese platter during my online check in and it was not delivered to the room at any stage during my stay. On check out, I paid cash for the room and the receptionist was going to charge me for the cheese platter — I informed her that I had never received the cheese platter. On a positive note — the room was lovely and clean, the coffee capsule machine was wonderful. The bedding was exceptional quality as well as the linen. The modern decor also highly regarded. I appreciated the many forms of lighting in the room. I loved the high quality toiletries in the bathroom, the fact that the hotel had T2 tea. I'm also a loyalty rewards member so the price I paid for the room was extremely worthy. Atura was also very well air conditioned.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Atura. This was the first time that we have ever stayed and it definitely won't be the last. Atura has a great atmosphere and very modern. Only down fall was the pool was too warm haha we were there on a 44 degree day and pool was not much cooler. All in all, Perfect!

We regularly stay at Atura and have had very few issues. The rooms are usually very well cleaned, comfortable and we especially love the free Wi-Fi and in room movies. The only suggestion I would make is to the blinds as when we are away I like to sleep late and the blinds that are currently there allow a lot of light in. That is just me being fussy though! We are almost always really happy with our stays with Atura Blacktown.

Very pleased with our overall experience. The staff were friendly from check-in to check-out. The room was well presented, very clean and with all amenities we would have expected including a bigger than usual mini-bar, even down to sunscreen. The bed was extremely comfortable and huge (king size). The only minor issue was the shower head which provided a very narrow spray however this is just being a little finicky as it was different to my shower at home which is a rainfall style, providing a little more coverage. We ate in the restaurant twice and once at the Cricketers Arms Hotel next door where we were able to charge the cost of the meal to our account. All meals were very good with the Cricketers Arms meal slightly more substantial as it was pub style. The meals at Atura were excellent with a good variety available. We had breakfast each day with, again, a very good variety from cereals, fruit, yoghurt, pastries to hot meals of scrambled eggs, bacon, sausages, mushrooms, potato rosti and ample quantities of toast and jams — well worth the additional money, particularly if paid for prior to the stay.

We're regular visitors to Atura Blacktown. This visit was for a representative baseball tournament in Blacktown so we stayed for three nights. Arrival was delayed by a queue of traffic going to the drive-in. It could be useful to Advise visitors to avoid trying to arrive at the hotel between 7 and 9 PM as they may be stuck in a queue that goes nowhere. We called ahead to reception, and the only too happy to process our arrival and have a room key ready for us. Everything else about our stay is top-quality. The beds are comfortable, the environment is clean and welcoming. The only tiny gripe that we have is the refrigerator in the room. Our son has special dietary requirements, and unfortunately the fridge does not keep food or drink as cold as needed, especially when the outside temperature is 35°. Anyhow, we intend on staying again and again and again. We also recommend Atura to our friends, and many stayed in the hotel at the same time as our last visit.

This is our 2nd stay here in 2015. We stayed overnight with 2 kids (1 infant). We were able to check-in early and also had a late check-out as Rydges Priority Club members. The service from the front desk was fantastic — very responsive. The BYO parents package is great value as $40 F&B credit covered our (pre-ordered) breakfast. A portacot was set up in the room when we arrived and the room has lots of great amenities (ie. Microwave & utensils, bowls etc, free in house movies, free Wi-Fi). The drawbacks — the lock on our room was not working, but we only worked this out after we had settled ourselves in and were leaving for the afternoon. Front desk was right onto it. Unfortunately, couldn't be resolved as long weekend, so we had to move to another room. This was actioned swiftly, but was a bit of a pain as we had to move lots of stuff and the kids were grumpy/tired. Luckily, we only had to move across the hall. The breakfast was good — well cooked and a fair bit of variety. I dislike the fact that the carpark is not undercover, but it was free. Very convenient to Wet'n'Wild, but you still need to drive there. Rooms seemed pretty clean, no road noise, minimal ambient noise in hotel. Needs more towel hooks (including for handtowels) in bathroom.

There is no indication that if you book for 2 adults and 2 children that the kids get to sleep on a very flimsy double sofa bed. Maybe OK if you have 2 little kids but my 12 year olds are adult size and this bed was inadequate. Spoilt what was otherwise a good location.

Such a surprising entrance into this hotel. It's a really fresh, modern atmosphere and the staff are lovely.

I booked a room on the 24th of July I frequently stay in this chain of hotels and to be honest have always had good experiences. On this occasion I was arriving just before midnight and when I arrived at the front door with my luggage the male behind the desk just looked at me before finally coming over to let me in. He asked me for ID which I provided and asked for my credit card which I explained was on file as I had stayed there approx 30-40 times over the last 18 months. He said he had to sight it but I didn't have it on me and many times in past they just charge it from the fact that they have it saved in their systems. I then said mate I'm tired, I stay here all the time and "just check me in" He replied 'I don't give a f% if you're Tony Abbott I can't check you in' At this point after I told him again to check me in he told me to f€>k off and he cancelled my booking. I travel often for work and have never in my life been so disgusted and offended. Truly disgusting behaviour. Sincerely Andrew Galbraith.

I have travel all over the world and this is an excellent place stay. Staff very friendly and drinks are reasonably priced. And food is top quality. The rooms are 10/10. To me has a steampunk retro feel with exposed electrical trays and visible filament lights, with a 50's feel as well. Highly recommend.

We're from Queensland. We went to Sydney to watch the 2015 Firework display and this hotel is an excellent place to relax after a busy tour around Sydney CBD. You can watch video on demand from foxtel for free and the internet speed is excellent. My only concern is the way they charge the accommodation of guests. They should change their scheme to avoid hassle in our part during check out. Fortunately, they are very helpful in getting my "over charged money" back in my account after a couple of days. Stayed here last March, loved it. Staff very friendly and the food was great.

We stayed here as a family travelling from the UK in December 2013. What a great modern fresh and friendly hotel. We have a great time here and visited Wet n Wild and the Drive In during our stay. After a busy days activity it was great to relax by the pool and watch the free movies in the room. Hotel was excellent value and a real highlight of our four week holiday.

I feel like this is a hidden gem and it's a great place for a staycation. Lots of fun for kids with Wet n Wild just a couple minutes drive away and right next to the drive in cinema for a romantic night out. The Roadhouse Bar has an impressive American whisky range with lots of collectibles and rare bottles.

Just stayed for 2 nights and loved the hotel! It was clean, modern and had a funky feel to it. Staff were also very friendly and if we're ever in that neighbourhood again I would definitely stay there.

Depends what you're after. To me it feels too youth-hostel-ish, but I guess that is the vibe they're after. It felt "cheap", but it's not. On a map it appears to be set in amongst the forest, but the feeling when you step outside is that you're in a great carpark. The forest that I could see on a short walk from the hotel was all fenced off. No room service. A joke of a gym (a small room with 2 treadmills, 2 cross trainers and a handful of dumbells in the corner) Clearly it works for some people, but not for me.
