Nice very friendly park but no TV reception.

Lovely, shady, roomy park, owner/staff friendly and helpful, will definitely come back again. Facilities all good, lots of hot water, roomy cubicles with benches and shower curtains. Hand towel supplied for drying in toilet section. A peaceful place only minutes from town centre. It's also for sale.

A tired caravan park if got a facelift more free campers might start to use it saying all that a nice place to have a break.

City as welcoming as the Manager of the caravan park, very friendly. Close to the river and amenities are strong points. The presence of the pool and the fully equipped kitchen make this place an ideal break on the highway. The best point in my opinion is the prices that are very competitive and the I got the right to a rate to be alone. Very good campsite.

We called reception in the morning to ask about the sites or cabin available cuz we might arrive there late, reception people told us they will open until 10pm so don't worry about the late arrival. But when we arrived there around 9:30pm, reception closed and all cabins sites were full. Worst experience ever, never go back again!

Needs a lot more cleaning. Camp kitchen full of mouse droppings.

For caravanners the sites are level and shady. It would be hard to find a more friendly, helpful and accommodating host than Trevor and we enjoyed informative conversations with him The amenities in the park are clean and though we were going to leave our van closer to Sydney, we decided that it would be safe here with Trevor out checking the park a few times a day. We were only going to be here one night but wish we could have stayed much longer.

A beautiful park lovely old trees very clean you have grass sites, near the main road but you don't hear much traffic.

Over the last six or so years, I have always stopped here on my way between Canberra and Adelaide, and return, for business. I have camped unpowered once when the cabins were all booked out. Margaret and Trevor are very friendly, down to earth, endearing hosts. You can't rate this Park by stars. It's a rough diamond for cabin-types, caravaners and camper trailers; the unpowered area is generous — shady if you need it, and sunny for solar types, like me when I camp. The camp kitchen is very functional with a communal fire pit just out the front. A pool for hot days but a short walk to the Murrumbidgee River. You can have a fire in the off season in the unpowered area if you like. No ferals, no permanents, neighbours are no bother. There's a courtesy coach to the club and back for dinner. It's great for an overnighter or two. Some friends of ours have just opened a café in Hay, so were heading over with our Drifta camper trailer over the 2017 June long weekend for a bit of practice and to catch up with people, and stay at the Hay Caravan Park. In my view, it's 5 stars for location, amenity for traveller-types, cost, friendliness and a beautiful night sky.

Very clean quiet great service. I didn't meet but the lady was so nice and helpful by phone worth the price of cabin for that alone last cabin but still priced cheap. Thanks for a great stay.

Booked an ensuite van site. Owner showed us to the spot and the best way to enter. Surprised how popular it was mid-winter, it filled up every night. Facilities clean, area well grassed and treed. Reasonable spacing between sites. Good for the price.

A little oasis in the middle of the Hay plain. Great for overnight stops or longer stays. The owners are very welcoming and have worked hard to make the park a real gem. The park is very green with nice sized sites and even has a pool. Not sure about the cabins but it looked as if there was a good choice.

Very dated cabins. Lots of friendly ants to share your room with. The pub across the road was handy. Pub meals were cheap and this was reflected in the meal quality. The caravan park was clean and tidy overall. If the cabins had new air conditioners I would have gone up to a 4 star rating. I am not a fan of the old bone rattlers. The staff were also good.
