We stayed at the Hotel Renaissance with my husband and honestly everything went perfectly well. The staff is impeccable, polite, kind, welcoming and caring. Top reception staff, the F&B team is just magical, the chef, the SPA team
we are under the spell. This is the second time we have come this year and we are even thinking of booking for Ramadan.

— Hassan at the restaurant is superb, as well as the Monsieur de l'accueil and the chef

I have just very respectfully expressed my experience at this hotel "Hotel Renaissance Tlemcen", I am devastated very very much disappointed by the management of the guest, at the time of booking I confirmed with the hotel and in the booking that I would like a room with bathtub and on a higher floor and that my arrival will be at a late hour from 00h, and the availability of dinner via room service, everything was well concluded and agreed.
Then my arrival as agreed at 00:20 the deluge begins:
Absence of the baggage handler
At the reception I find a certain "Redouane" who starts to tell us the bad news
Room I booked was not available
No room with bathtub
No upper floor
The attic room with separate beds knowing I'm with my wife.
The room service: dinner not available except burgers while I mentioned everything before my departure.
The room is lamentable the is broken table (With photo) dinner served after 45 minutes.
No hospitality
No sense of service
No professionalism
Really nothing is up to the task
I strongly advise 22 this hotel I advise recommended.
I'll write 5/10 only for the structure.
I had to cancel my overnight stay over.

Too classy, welcoming staff, total calm, on the other hand the breakfast is not terrible.

The best Hotel in Algeria. The prices are high but services are acceptable and the moments are pricious there it is simply increadible.

We wanted to make a visit to book a table of a dinner today on 28/02 / 2020 at 20:57 we found bouldog in the monitoring station that are not human beings. Or is it your benevolence and hospitality? Is that how we improve tourism in the city of Tlemcen.

Beautiful hotel, clean, warm, staff to listen to and good food.

The hotel is just beautiful, beautiful architecture, beautiful decor, all the staff is more than helpful, even to learn from the outside, the rooms nice and clean, only downside is that for a family of 4 people there were only 2 outlets in bathroom and only 1 towel, and the mini bar also, but the breakfast is hearty, and we intend to come back at you.

— missing of Minimum room requirements such as towels! You need to request them and make sure you received the right quantity requested as you may be surprised
— No bathrobes in the room while you find them in 4 and some 3 stars hotels!
— Pub very poor services and missing basic details
— Pub TV was not working which obliged us watching the world cup games on a 42" TV 50M far away! Because you don't have choices as there isn't in your assigned 5 stars room!
— kids and babies swimming pool containers very cold water you have to request to make it a bit hotter as this option exist but they don't use it (cost saving may be Vs your babies health)

We booked 2 nights at the Renaissance Hotel as we enjoyed our first experience.
But unfortunately our set save we were disappointed on several points:
First the service: on arrival in our room we had asked for a hair dryer that it still does not happen elsewhere!
Secondly the service "room service" an order for a lunch spent at 14:10 and we eat at 4:15 pm after several complaints and to have in the end a cold food, poorly presented and I do not even tell you about the value for money! With my wife we were shocked with the benefits of a 5 star!
And to crown it all at dinner, at the restaurant El hawsi an order of 2 cheese burger with drink, after still 2 hours waiting, several claims, 2 bellies that cried famine we had 2 dishes extremely cold, so cold that the frits were frozen, so cold that the burger bread was hard!
All this poses without cover, without towel and without our drinks. We refused the dish and asked for a hot dish; they came back 20min later with the same flat and still cold …
how to qualify this? How to describe this hotel being called 5 stars? My wife stayed without dinner getting dinner there and we left extremely disappointed.
All this does not make us want to come back …
We enjoy despite everything, the calm of the hotel, the room, the cleanliness and beauty of the place, the extras (pool, terrace, gardens etc) And especially the breakfast in el bostane.

Grand international family hotel on the heights of Tlemcen right next to the cable car and hyper secure I recommend it for its high level of equipment and so attentive staff.

The prices are quite high, overall a good hotel to spend the weekend.

Magnefique hotel, ideal location at the top of the mountain in the middle of the forest, the hotel is clean and the service is excellent.

At the reception we were given two room cards with a wrong number registered on it, my wife preceded me in the room but the door did not open. She asked for help from an agent who opened the door with her pass after checking the card number. To the great surprise my wife entered an already occupied room, fortunately her occupants were absent. At the front desk the receptionist told us it was just wrong floor instead of the 4 she had rated the 2!. A mistake that put us in a very embarrassing situation.

I have been there on a number of occasions and it was ok but there was this one time I went there and I was badly treated by the staff, causing a big scene. If they wish to improve, they should get more competent multilingual staff.

Great hotel. Very clean. Located on the high plateau of Lalla Setti with a panoramic view of Tlemcen. The calm and the air is pure. The self is well varied and the staff very courteous.

Nothing to say really clean very beautiful… A star less just by what one is two in the room and the service dropped the champion, towels, drinks etc… For one person, lack of communication between the staff damage.

Very warm staff, I used to visit the restaurant and on one occasion I met the manager and he was very welcoming and ensured our table was well tended to. Plus the ambience is amazing.

The one thing that's most impressive about the hotel is its location. It's located on a 1200m above sea level amazing hill of Lala Setti, which can result in a very pleasing experience during night time as you can gaze upon the lights of the entire state from its peak, and the astonishing foggy conditions at winter time which makes you feel you're walking on clouds. For algerians in general, this hotel is more likely suitable for well off people because it's a bit too expensive.

I knew this Hotel at its opening and I'm a loyal customer of the Mariott chain, I note, however, that benefits are not at the level of a Renaissance.
Should be in my opinion reviewed the benefits in terms of restoration, of products offered at breakfast and present a brunch option.
A cheese omelet, made with chunks of cheese and not grated, the present trade orange juice and sold as the pressed natural juices, servers chatting among themselves, employees you Spence, "harassing" servers by RID too fast your plates, helps you stress and put uncomfortable.

The diplomatic suite that I had during my stay was very comfortable and met my expectations, the remaining very affordable for this category.

The screen used wooden board between the House and the sanitary facilities would need to be dusted!
In conclusion, the staff is very kind and listening but I note "amateurism" and a familiarity with the customer personally I find moved, a bit of deference with the customer would add a touch class and glamour to this hotel which remains beautiful despite the impression of coldness and blandness that feels.

Beautiful, well located hotel with a view panoramic of Tlemcen. What I appreciated this time it's staff who are very friendly, attentive and helpful, friendships to the Chief, hacen ainssi as all others.

Kind service, but uncovered Muslim women, and alcohol being served. They should be ashamed.

It is certainly worth a visit and it is the best for honey moon.

I stayed several times in this magnificent hotel to the exceptional site with panoramic view of the city of Tlemcen and its surroundings.
The rooms like suites are impeccable, clean, well appointed and decorated with taste.
The service is the height of its stars, professional and attentive to detail.
The customer services are varied spread over 24 hours put at the disposal of the customer with attentive staff and no reproach.
It remains to discuss restoring train to a more low level, far from its star, the quality of the offered products is to see again in our view, cleanliness is subject to multiple complaints (such as fruit on stalls with their dust), often discussions of personnel at the service of the restaurant covers widely those seated customers (staff for the most part from the Kabylie mountains often increase the tone of his voice in their trade), for the self service, hot meals are often cold.
Our first meal at the hotel just pushed us to get outside best dishes without success up to now but…
There is still a problem with this hotel and its modes of settlement of invoices, (this problem is not specific to this establishment) : you can pay with a visa card, otherwise the extra cash with a security deposit at the front desk but the IPC card is not allowed for the settlement in local currency!

The best hotel i've ever visited, nice area, good service and the food is great. Way better than Sheraton and Mercure.
