The service was excellent. They also upgraded my room on the house. The staff was friendly, David was kind and Revai from housekeeping. The ladies at reception were nice too.

One of the best feelings as soon as step in the front door. I was welcomed with a glass of refreshment while the lovely front desk lady was checking me in. It went so efficient so friendly, the gentleman who took me to my room was equally friendly and well trained. Hotel is at international standard, not far from similar inWashing DC or Ritz London or Paris, the standards all the same. Well done Monomotapa Harare.

Stayed for 2 nights. The room was clean and comfortable and the staff were very welcoming. Breakfast had good variety. Overall, good value and I would stay again.

My stay at Hotel Monomotapa was truly enjoyable and exceeded my expectations. The hotel is perfectly located in the heart of the city, making it very convenient for both business and leisure activities.
The staff were exceptional — warm, professional, and always willing to help with a smile. From check-in to check-out, the service was efficient and welcoming, which made me feel comfortable throughout my stay.
The rooms are spacious, clean, and well maintained, offering a relaxing environment after a long day. I especially appreciated the comfort of the bed and the beautiful city views. Housekeeping did a great job keeping everything tidy.
The food was another highlight. Breakfast was delicious with a good variety, and the restaurant service was prompt and friendly. It’s clear that the hotel values quality and guest satisfaction.
Overall, Hotel Monomotapa offers excellent value for money, combining great service, comfort, and a prime location. I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the city and would gladly stay here again.

Had a very amazing time for my friend's dinner, Mr Roy Makore gave us an awesome experience, very good service and the team was leasing nicely throughout the evening would definitely go back for the dining experience however the rooms were a let down as there's no AC.

The room itself was nice and comfortable. However, there was a very unpleasant smell outside my room, and I am not sure of the source. Unfortunately, it was present throughout my entire stay.
I would also like to mention an issue regarding towels. Upon arrival, only one shower towel was provided in the room. At around 7:00 pm, I requested an additional shower towel and followed up every hour until I went to sleep, but none was delivered. The next morning, I called again and was brought two hand towels instead. I was informed that shower towels would only be ready in another 45–60 minutes, but I could not wait as I needed to leave for a meeting.
The breakfast buffet was acceptable, although it was not entirely to my preference, as most of the options were beef and pork-based. I do understand that this may suit the majority of your guests. On a positive note, the staff were friendly and courteous.

A wonderful hide-away from the bustle of the city. I love how clean the rooms were — especially the bathroom. The staff are kind and quick to respond to the guest's needs.

The hotel is clean and well-kept, but a few areas could use an update, such as the bathrooms and air conditioning.
I think there's no air conditioning at all.
Therefore check that out before booking.

Some Waiters need training on good customer services. I attended a conference at the dining I wanted water urgently but becoz I had already used my drink coupon I offered to buy they didn't have change the junior waiter offered to take a bottle from the Conference Room! On seeing me with that water the Park View Restaurant Supervisor stomned my table demanding payment that was very embarrassing! Retraining is necessary! That was very wrong for a 5 star hotel.

This was our first visit to Zimbabwe and first stay at Monomotapa. Overall, we had a pleasant stay. The staff was very helpful. We ate at the hotel restaurant for lunch and we enjoyed it. The room was clean and had plenty of room. My only negative comment was about the air conditioning. It's centrally controlled and there's no thermostat in the room. Our room was quite warm and a couple days passed before we figured out the window could slide open. That helped immensely for fresh air, but it also let in the smell of smoke and all the early morning noise from the street below. But other than that, I enjoyed my week's stay at Momomotapa.

The Hotel has no Air Condition (AC), no Fans and when I called and asked how to fix this matter they told me to open the window, and they promised to bring a fan and this is the second horrible night am spending here, I asked for Ice from room service at 8:13 pm and I had to call twice and no luck. I went down to the front desk and told them about that and they said they are sorry and they will send the ice with a fan immediately, will the Ice came (to glass filled with Ice) and no Fan. DO NOT Book here.

Monomatapa is very well positioned for a business trip to Harare. Whilst not exceptional in any one area they offer a good, clean, safe and cost-effective accommodation.

I recently celebrated my wife's birthday at Monomotapa Hotel, and it was an unforgettable experience! The staff went above and beyond to make our stay special. They surprised us with a complimentary gift of champagne, which was a lovely touch. The service was excellent, and the amenities were top-notch. We felt pampered and indulged throughout our stay. I highly recommend Monomotapa Hotel for any special occasion. They truly know how to make memories!

Great stay overall – friendly staff, clean and spacious room, and excellent location. Only downside was that the A/C in our room wasn’t working, but everything else was fantastic. Would stay again.

Google Maps is a game-changer! The navigation is seamless, and the real-time traffic updates have saved me so much time. The accuracy is impressive, and the street view feature is super helpful. It's my go-to app for directions and discovering new places. Five stars isn't enough — I'd give it ten stars if I could!

The rooms are so smart, they smell nice and the services yooo extra good they always smile, ask you on feedback frequently.
I also loved the heavy meal especially breakfast and dessert keep it up Monomotapa.
I would rate the hotel one of the best in Harare actually it comes first for me.
