Cresta Jameson Hotel

I enjoyed my "time out". I'm from mutate it was great to have a hotel experience. Bed big and comfortable. Meals really delicious. The only down fall is the traffic noises which made it difficult to sleep.

Stayed here for a week in December.
The rooms were not clean. Shower curtain had weird stains on them.
Good was not great. Very little options and often ran out of coffee, tea, milk, cereal etc.
Key card stopped working often.
Windows didn’t close properly so loud sounds from the street below disturbed our sleep.

So far so good. I have enjoyed the food and beverage especially. Sarah treats me well from the coffee shop and I am happy with the service I receive.

Staff friendly and always smilling, the food is okay. Everything was working in my room. My service request were actioned promptly.

My experience at Cresta Jameson Hotel was lacking in the few aspects that make a hotel enjoyable to stay in.
The only redeeming qualities consisted of working Wi-Fi, clean bedding and a near quiet noise level.
The parking lot was located in an alleyway which was not aesthetically pleasing and contained a foul odour.
The hotel lobby also contained a foul odour on entrance and the staff were dressed too casually considering their profession.
None of the elevators were capable of going to the third floor where the gym is located so you would have to walk up/down a flight of stairs to get there.
The gym layout was unsavoury with a treadmill being the first sight on entry. That said, facilities are limited in the gym with only 3-4 cardio machines, (one of each use).
The hotel room bathroom floor was drenched in water. The shower temperature is unable to be controlled freely as trying to open the tap for hot water only makes the shower colder and visa versa.
The room did not contain a fridge as several hotel rooms do.
The coffee station had a dirty cup and a spoon covered in mould.
The curtains did not fully close which is a major privacy concern.
The safe was not functional and could’ve been excluded in the layout of the room altogether.
The pool was out of service which is displeasing as it was one of the reasons the hotel was picked.

It was our first time visit, from the reception desk, the service was excellent, we went to our room, it was clean and perfect, we went for dinner, the hotel staff gave us excellent, the food was well prepared and portions were so good… lm sure will extend my stay.

We went to Cresta Jameson hotel and we saved by Alex and everything was top notch. Thump to the team for the excellent service.

Oh wow. My first visit to Zimbabwe and definitely not my last. Your hotel is incredible, comfortable and the food is delicious. The Chef went out of his way to make us a lamb curry.
The staff were super helpful, courteous and trustworthy. Always with a huge smile and respectful.
From the reception, to Housekeeping and Kitchen, the hotel has a great compliment of staff.

Excellent staff from parking, housekeeping, reception & dining.
Cresta Jameson Harare CBD. However, improve on time management, had to wait for about 35mins to get the ordered food.

Fantastic place the place is good. The Security Team from New World are par-excellence. Very professional and so Good. They make you feel welcome by the first impression of their facial smiles. Kuddos to Security team and some Of the Stuff.

The rooms are nice. I have to keep in mind I'm not in the US. This is an old hotel and to stand some renovations — bad. There are mirrors in three bathroom that need to be replaced, so that you can actually see a clear image. The sink knife are loose. Their are no shower curtains. The is a mirror on the wall over the 🛁. Weird!?! Lighting is dim at the brightest ✨️. This hotels has bugs. Service provided by the staff is on slow motion, cruise control slow 🐌 😑.

Loved it. The service was so good and enjoyed the stay. The food was brought to us and Management was helpful.

Great location in the heart of Harare cbd. Good room size and comfortable bed. The restaurant on 1st floor offers great meals options and the cafe on ground floor has good breakfast and coffee. I had an overall comfortable one week stay at Jameson. The staff was very kind and attentive. My only issues with the hotel are — the swimming pool is not working (they explained that it's a structural issue) and there was a regular cigarette smoke smell in the hallways that entered the room every time you open the door.

Truly an amazing staff. From the Bell Desk, to Concierge, Chefs, Front Desk Staff you name it they are all amazing and made me feel like I was at home during my stay!

Everything was good, from the airport shuttle to the hotel. The driver was friendly. Upon arrival at the hotel, check in was smooth and fast. I had booked a twin room with my sister, everything was awesome. Can’t wait to come back.

Their warm hospitality and professionalism truly stood out. My room was clean, well-maintained, and serviced to a high standard, ensuring a comfortable experience. The highlight of my stay was the great selection of traditional food—flavorful, authentic, and expertly prepared. Overall, a memorable experience that I would gladly recommend.

I always stay at Cresta Jameson and always have an exceptional. The location is perfect and easily accessible, the staff is very friendly and always willing to assist to make sure my stay is always comfortable.
The room was modern ans clean with a comfortable bed and gold amenities.
