I can't hold myself to say thank you for organizing such a fantastic dinner for us. Service was so good I am very much impressed. Taj is such a promising place where people can believe blindly and they can't go wrong! It's the third time you made our event so special! I appreciate your efforts for helping me out in such a short time. And also your whole team was so good and responsive. The plating and presentation of food was just so good. No one can beat Taj for such delicious food and lovely ambience. Our set up was by the pool side Thanks a lot once again.

Me and my husband had the most terrible experience on the 14th feb 2020 at thr valentines dinner buffet. When arrived there were no tables for us so we had to wait 45min. Then when the reception at the restaurant informed us the table is ready. We went to take 10 if inrecall right. The table yet wasnt ready the waiter was still cleaning the table. He was so rude. When asked is thisnare table and if he can clean it he said "thats what im doing in " a very rude way. Since it was 9.45pm we decided lets serve by the time we come to the table we the table would have been cleaned. To our surprised there were no cutlery, Napkin water side plate was kept on the table. We had to ask so many times for the items. When we finished our course I plates were not cleared… where as the other tables were served well. It was as if we were eatig for free. By the time we had our food the dessert area was empty and not many deserts we there. such a terrible serve! I have never got this type of attitude from any hotel in my life. Its a shame. Im sure this complaint wont even be taken serious. Who ever from the hotel management wants proof pls contact me. I have photos of the complaints I have made. btw my valentines day was ruined by your serve!

Was here for a wedding, the waitress serving our table was horrible. More than once she cleared beer bottles off the table that were half full. And overall, the hotel is decent, not what I expected.

Great place to stay in. Rooms are of an old design but well maintained. Food is good. Serves various cuisines — Indian, Western and Zambian. It is a part of the Taj group of hotels and members of the Taj inner group will get rewards points for their stay. Has a good massage center and also offers yoga sessions. The pool is neat and clean. I would like to stay here again.

Stayed here and thoroughly enjoyed myself. As a foreigner coming from a small tiny Kingdom, I was blown away in particular the service. 15 minutes for food is just that, 15 minutes. The whole experience had a positive vibe to it. I wouldnt mind spending more time here and also bringing my family along. The balcony views are just enchanting. They just give a different vibe to the hotel…

I feel like I showed up not just to a hotel but to an enjoyable experience in hospitality. I had my gluten free bread toasted by the Executive Chef himself, who assured me that should there be absolutely anything I would like I should speak directly to any of the chefs and they would make it for me… I'm tempted to test the limits of this offer… The food is quite tasty so far and yet to disappoint…

Visited Taj Palmodzi Lusaka Zambia. Its beautiful hotel with lots of greenery. Ample parking. Excellent breakfast, lunch n dinner. Staff is very polite and helpful. Rooms are big n balconies r also very airy. Very comfortable stay. My sincere thanks to the staff.

Rooms old but clean. Air conditioning, noisy fan noisy of the kitchen under the window. There is an electrical outlet near the bed to charge your mobile phone at night. Overpriced.

State of the art Hotel with service second to non. The food includes local and international dishes. My favourite spot is the swimming pool. A healthy body is very important and the Taj boasts of having a state of the art gym.

We went for the high tea/afternoon tea and it was great. Simple, delicious and we'll priced. We sat out on the patio so the view was nice. Tranquil. The service was OK but it could have been better because we felt like we were forgotten outside and occasionally had to go inside to find wait staff. They were however very friendly. I would definitely go back for afternoon tea.

Taj Pamodzi is easily one of Lusaka's favorite hotels. Beautiful rooms and excellent room service. The restaurants offer a wide choice on the menu. From famous international dishes to local delicacies. Enjoy cooling off in the swimming pool or sitting in the sun. Great place for the whole family on a holiday to one of Africa's more cultural countries.

Excellent service, comfortable, reasonable prices. And there is a bank with ATM, very convenient.

A fantastic experience. The hotel is majestic and the attention to detail is outstanding. We spent three nights here and used many of the facilities. The staff were always helpful and extremely polite (this might just be a Zambian thing though) and what was supposed to be a brief stop over turned into an extended stay. The spa is really well priced and certainly worth a visit and the on site restaurant cooked up an exceptional steak. Be sure to give the Nshima a try, you won't be disappointed.

Really posh and beautiful place. I have stayed in many take hotels and resorts in India and am not disappointed with this one in Lusaka. Good spread for meals, mostly buffet but can order too. Located in a nice quiet area. Plenty of parking and shopping malls and movie theater are within 20 minutes walking distance from here.

Great place, lots of food options though not all the dishes served have the delighting taste. Nice gym n squash courts. Worst part is the billing process, they charge in local currency n then changing to dollars which produces different charges fr different days.

When it comes to tasty meals, Taj is the answer! I love the work culture for the employees who are so friendly and warm, I enjoy my meals which are so delicious.

Took the family to the Taj for a night away from home on my wife's birthday… it was fantastic! Beautiful rooms, delicious food, wonderful service, helpful staff… The kids refused to leave! It truly was a wonderful experience and I look forward to coming back again — soon! And this time we'll stay longer.

Service imporved. Time taken to check-in reduced. Like the old fashioned table setup at the reception. Gym is great in the early morning.

I have lodged here and am a member of their health club. Love the squash courts (must be the only hotel in Lusaka with squash courts). The breakfast is good and a large swimming pool within the premises. Different night spots are within a ten mile radius.

The most amazing service I have ever had. Very friendly staff. Fantastic place. The food is succulent, the menu is varied, life music every nights. Love this place!

Thin walls between rooms means you can hear everything in your neighbor's room. Not up to international standards.

I've stayed two times in this hotel, so far. Everything is just fine, as you expect from a five-star hotel. Rooms are clean, staff are helpful and polite and the breakfast is good, though there could have been more options at breakfast. But overall, I totally enjoyed my stay at Taj Pamodzi and would definitely recommend it.

It may need updating and is a little tired, but the staff and customer care is excellent.

This is an excellent place.

Actually, I worked there for ten (10) as purchasing manager and retired in january 2005. I haven't been there as a guest since then. But it is a superb place to be, though it is more on the business than tourist type of hotel. You get value for money.
