The views when you get to the top are worth the effort. Stunning scenery but the catch is you have to climb 500 steps to get there. If your fitness is in question it might be too much for some people.

A climb under a blazing sun with a lot of humidity but a wonderful view up there! Don't miss it!

I was here with my friends for a three nights stay (06/06-08/06), we were first upgraded from two superior double room to the deluxe double room. The rooms were clean and well-kept and the ala carte breakfast was great. But oh god, these are insufficient to make up for the unpleasant stay here. Why would I say so? Read on and you will understand. I was very displeased by how from the start, the air-con was already not functioning properly in one of the rooms. Even though they placed a fan inside, it was of little help when it is just contributing hot wind. Imagine spending a night, unable to fall asleep, sweating because of the heat! The staff were super apologetic about it and offered to switch the room for us. The air con worked fine in the room we got switched to. Here comes the enraging part. We experienced a power failure at approximately 11pm without fail every night. The power came back only around 1am, which means that we either spent two hours in the suffocating heat of the room (torchlight was the only source of light), or head outside to sit in the breeze but get bitten by the mosquitoes. — — On a positive note, because of this incident, we managed to do star-gazing here because it is dark enough with the blackout. (: I'm uncertain whether we were unlucky to experience their occasional power shortage just in time while we were here, or this has been a persistent issue all along since it is in the suburban.

Mua Caves Ecolodge is a very pleasant place to stay. Although the price is a bit higher than the average hotel in Vietnam, we noticed the value of this host: Great scenery with the garden and mountains, clean and fully equiped lodge including tea/coffee, deluxe breakfast, free entrance to Hang Mua. Staff speaks decent English, welcomed us with an iced lemon drink and is very helpful with exploring the surroundings. Same applies for the restaurant: A bit pricy compared to street food, but we really enjoyed the (fried and fresh) springrolls.

Amazing views, but make sure to wear good shoes and go when it is not peak temperstures.

Amazing! First we went to climb to the mountain to see the view point which was really exhausting but it was so worth it! When we came down from the mountain, we went to the cave. In the cave you can find the path which goes through, and is a little bit under the water, so you better take off your shoes before, and it was dark so you need a flashlight. It takes you a few minutes careful walking, and its kind a scaring and you feel like you are in some Indiana Jones movie but I really recommending!

Good hike around the lodge, slightly pricey but yummy restaurant, and very nice accommodations and hospitality.

Didn’t stay here but did the climb to the top. Vies were stunning and well worth the small hike (which was over before we knew it! ) best attraction of the area. Only 100, 000 per person and worth every bit.

You nees to pay to climb the mountain, thats weird. But the trip is worth it.

Stopped here for tea after the Herculean walk of 500 steps up mua caves. They also sell vietnamese ginseng wine by the glass if you need to replenish your Herculean loss of energy.

Go remotely on Đc Dance Team Welcome to be more unthoughtful. It rains to check in from morning without requiring extra money. The room is beautiful, full of precious natural wood. The scenery of friendship, the airy atmosphere, the long climb is always available, free of charge (bth 100k), a free full-time breakfast with a dessert. Food and beverage plant. I've been invited to feed 1 kg of fish soy sauce, fish meat fields that have 180k, where cheap ntn. In two nights you see the team in the same house, like at home. Thank you.

Lovely setting and scenery. Very comfortable accommodations with good food and friendly staff. Easy cab ride from the main tourist area.

I loved it. 480 markets to have a beautiful view point on the Bay of Hallong. Mua's cave is surprising, take off your shoes and go all the way to your feet in the water.

The caves is in the ecolodge, 100, 000 vnd entrance which will cover bicycle and bike parking. Don't not park outside, it's a scam. Good views, But swimming by the caves by the right once u get off the steps is amazing. A small little natural cave with clean and refreshing water. Bring a picnic and hangout there! We loved it!

A must if you're in the area. Not the cellar or the econologe but the view from the top of the steps. Attention is 100 k dong, but worth it.

We stayed in early December 2015, what a great spot! We were looked after very well by Thuy (who speaks English) and his staff. The grounds are very nice to walk through luckily we were around when there were not too many tourists around. The walk up Lying Dragon Mountain is a must do the view is spectacular! The bungalows are a nice size and very clean. There's lots to do around there if your into walking and biking. Tam Coc is not that far away and Thuy will give you suggestions of tours to do. We definitely recommend staying here.

We stayed for 3 nights at Mua Cave Ecolodge and really enjoyed the place. We had a whole little house to ourselves with comfortable beds and a great rainhead shower. Mr. Thuy was a wonderful host and was so patient answering all of our questions and making sure we had everything we needed along the way. We rented motorbikes to get to Tam Coc for a river cruise, and to explore the surrounding area since it's in a remote location and a little difficult to walk anywhere. Staying here gets you free access to the Mua Caves, which is fun to explore around. We climbed to steps to the top just around sunset and had some gorgeous views of the mountains — highly recommended! The restaurant offered a good selection of dishes, and it was a nice setting to sit among the caves while dining. All in all, a really nice, quiet and peaceful spot!
