We hade alovely week at Chez Carole and celebrated New Year. Wonderful place and nice staff!

Very nice resort very friendly staff food menu a little bit limited, you never feel cramped as a family from England we have have enjoyed our stay here.

We only had the pleasure of dinning here and using the private beach they have saved from the unstoppable wave of human destruction everywhere else in Vietnam. There are a small number of very friendly, well fed dogs in and around the beach that made the visits worth while for us. The beach is very clean. There are lots of sun loungers peppered down the beach weaved in and out of palm trees for island aesthetics and decent shade. There are also ocean hammocks and an instagram swing thing at the end if the dock for the vanity images. This side of the island is also free from the gushing winds and relentless surf. We were not guests at the resort, but the staff were more than happy for us to come down and use the facilities.

Could be better, resort is nice, clean but rooms need update, breakfast still the same, water was expensive and very rud staff on reception, including managers. They had cute dog and good swimming pool.

Service was fantastic! English barrier a little tough but totally fine. Beds were probably the least amusing. Hard as rocks and left us very sore and tired. But honestly, the staff were a treat and the food was just damn tasty! Highly recommend the Thai hit pot… for real!

Very nice place. We took advantage of the restaurant and the beach. The plantations on the beach are very popular to protect from the sun. Hammock, sun loungers and parasols are waiting for you. The bungalows are on the edge of a nice pond (mosquito). We went there in off-peak period, given the size of the spring, I am afraid that in a period of strong, there are too many people for my taste to rest.

We ate at the restaurant a midday, very friendly setting, nice service, well cooked dishes although some dishes lacked a bit of flavor.

Cancelled after 1 of 6 nights: The resort is nicely located and a nice place. However, we had no warm water, which was not fixed after we told the staff. The electric devices in the room were loud. The beach was only cleaned directly at the hotel, the water in front of hotel beach was dirty. Most important, the food was bad, definitely no longer suitable for consumption. We cancelled after 1 night. After some annoying discussion the management accepted and we did not had to pay all nights.

We only tried the restaurant, which gives you access to the facilities if you have lunch there—a very nice deal. The food is good, not too overpriced for a resort. Service is a bit slow; garlic bread was stale and the chicken consistently dry across multiple dishes. The curry was nice though. Location is wonderful between the ocean and the river. Quite a bit of small construction jobs going around but it doesn’t detract too much from the natural beauty of the place. Beachside is nice, overflowing pool is very cool too. Recommended for a chill afternoon after lunch.

Two Times with her husband went to the restaurant and beach to relax after our bikers on the north (they lived in the area of Long Beach). Very quiet, pleasant and well-groomed place. Enjoyed your stay here! What was ordered in the restaurant-everything was very tasty!

We stayed 6 nights at the Resort. This is very secluded but also beautiful. The bungalows we found great and the beach was huge and an employee cleans several times a day the also by hotel guests leave rubbish from the beach… many staff are very nice and helpful. The restaurant in the hotel is good but after 3 nights we had it quite ' tired '. The breakfast is convincing thanks to the freshly prepared eggs. The rest is unfortunately Mau and the coffee Unpalatable. Disappointing was the party night of about 8 Vietnamese (friends from the hotel Owner) until the morning hours with loud karaoke on the Beach. This was rude to the hotel Guests.

The resort is OK. Transfer from the supported airport. The rooms are beautiful. We had the room overlooking lake and sea. The private beach is very beautiful. The pool is spacious and allows you to do lengths for swimmers. Free Kayak. Very good Wi-Fi. The restaurant is ok but all the dishes on the map are not always available. Breakfast is at will. Scooters are available for the necessary rental to go to visit the island. Very friendly staff. Good value for money.

Great place beautiful and very clean.

Ate a good crab and seafood soup. Good. The place is very green, it is very nice, a lot of taste in the arrangement of plants and trees. The bungalows look great. There's even a swimming pool. A little disappointed by the beach, although it is surrounded by rocks and massif. I expected a transparent water, white sand and where you could see the marine fauna. In front it builds large buildings. (Not terrible, in truth I hate. And it happens on many beaches. ) Future mass tourism when you hold us. Apart from that Carole seems to be a woman who seems to know how to manage her story well. And to be a good mother of a family. Very pleasant and smiling. This is my first resentment. Free airport and return transfers. Convenient location. Polite staff. Good service. Restaurant. Pool. There are also entertainments at sea — rental kayaks and water bikes. Own beach — 200 meters which are cleaned almost in constant mode. The restaurant is open to 22.00 hours. Payment for accommodation and restaurant is taken at check-out. We advise you to try beer…

Check in or The young man at the front desk was very nice and could speak good English.
Room quite ok towels were changed every day as well as shampoo, shower gel and Conditioner Provided.
Room service Well what should I say does his work we happened to be in the room there are drawers opened from the night box and even the locked larger compartment was tried to open (the compartment for valuables) and that even though we were present…

Beach not very inviting.
Restaurant so Lala and waitresses hardly any knowledge of English it didn't always come to what was ordered… Scooter there is for 200000 dong there where different cheaper… Luckily it was just a standard bungalow the Riversite Bungalows (pools) when you go over the bridge it stinks…
I wouldn't come back.

The beach is nice, the place is noisy, the restaurant mediocre. The infrastructure is inadequate, Olga and inconvenient.

A very private and beautiful hotell. Plenty of space on the Beach. Only this Hotel on the Beach. A recomendation is to take the canoes up river. A bit far of from the city but the hotel have rental motorbikes. The food was great. There are a bus that can take guest for free into town to eat on their other restaurant if you like some variation.

Hit Tula by accident. Dropped guide for lunch. I do not know how the hotel, but the area is very well maintained, the beach is not mnogoljulnyj, clean.

Beach and rooms very nice. Breakfast is okay but small selection. Point deduction that the airport pick up service just forgot me and I then apathetically at the airport and did not know where. Service is partially improved. But all in all nice hotel.

Well, the staff mostly friendly, the guy who is responsible for the pool and kayak rental should work on his etiquette urgently! The restaurant is a complete disaster. The bungalows are OK. All in all, far too expensive for what is being done and offered. The sea is full of rubbish really unbelievable absolutely not suitable for swimming. Who wants to have a nice holiday should spend a little more money and eg. Go to Green Bay Resort This is really great.

Wow! So beautiful and decorated with such taste. Now, this is what you call a resort. Peaceful, on a beach of its own, relax and enjoy the splendid view. Everything is in harmony with nature. There are bungalows on the pond, river or beach. The flowers and trees, the grounds are well manicured. The food is delicious and the same as the owner's restaurant in town. Because it is away from town, there is a shuttle to drive you. The rooms are spectacular, very clean and super comfortable. A real 5 star!

Very nice resort but unfortunately you are without scooters something away from other restaurants or shops. To relax wonderful and the quality and prices of the restaurant are ok. Staff friendly and the beach is clean. Super breakfast inclusive.

Our room was badly cleaned. The shower was clogged as there was dirt (hair, packaging…) from previous customers.
Despite all these small incidents we had a pleasant stay in peace. Total relaxation in this beautiful place.

Resort situated in the northern part of Phu Quoc Island. Nam, the receptionist, greeted us warmly and showed us to our bungalow which had a small terrace overlooking the lake. Room was cleaned daily and replenished with toiletries. The restaurant had a selection of both asian and european dishes. Bar was stocked with a variety of alcoholic beverages, beers, juices, smoothies and hot beverages. Buffet Breakfast was also good and abundant. Duc served our dinner almost every evening and helped us with suggestions of places we wanted to visit around the island. The beach was clean with hammocks and sunbeds. Kayaks were provided to explore the neighbouring beaches and river. The resort has also a small gym and spa (we did not make use of). Good Wi-Fi connection.

Nice, private beach. Friendly and helpful personnel. Rooms where a bit lower standard than expected but for the price it was well worth it.

Very nice resort, lots of charm between the beach and its Palm Grove, and the rooms with terrace on the river. There is a playground for the children and the possibility to borrow canoes Kayak. The pool was very nice. Massages, gym and sauna. The rooms are very clean, the restaurant mainly serves Vietnamese cuisine but also Western. The breakfast buffet deserves to be a little more diversified and the staff a little more trained in English. I recommend this place!

Great simple resort, the private beach is large with plenty of space for all guests. Rooms are spacious and well equipped. The bungalows over the river are particularly nice with a small terrace and an original bathtub. Restaurant is also good with a good choice of Vietnamese and Western food. Staff has been great with us when our daughter was hospitalised, really making our life as easy as possible. If you are looking for a simple but cosy resort in Phu Quoc, look no further.

Unfortunately, there was never a stop at this resort due to overbooking, indebted by the hotel! There was a very unfriendly email change in poor English, where no solution to the problem was sought, nor was apologised for the inadmissibility.
I definitely wouldn't recommend the hotel as overbooking can keep happening.

Very nice beach, clean and beautiful. Kayak free. Volley ball, food ball, bar, spool and lived music. Restaurant is ok, price for Viet food is ok but for Western dishes… a little bit high. Will come back.

Nice, isolated place and very quiet, the breakfast disappoints a little, nice beach, but lacks a bar to the height.

Beautifull place, clean beach and swimming pool. Manager speaks english, french, and Vietnam. Rooms are very nice.

We were just on a beer here when we drove around the island to find new accommodation. Was a bit far from the city, otherwise to recover beautiful.

Could be so much better. So run down and lacking in the simple areas like hot water and cleaning. Staff in restaurant are wonderful they made the whole experience worthwhile. Views and beach are amazing.

Beautiful beach and scenery. We had one of the lake rooms with easy access to the restaurant and beach. Rooms were clean and bed and sheets were comfy. We had a pleasant stay, the place is well maintained so if you want a relaxing holiday by the beach in Phu Quoc away from the hustle and bustle and hagglers then this is a place for you. It's a 20 minute drive by car to downtown Phu Quoc or 30mims by bike so if you want to try the restaurants in town, plan ahead by hiring a bike or call a taxi, the reception would be glad to assist.

A hotel wonder to indulge and enjoy your private beach.

A lovely, quiet, peaceful, beautiful place with nice, friendly, helpful staff and good service quality. Chez Carole is worth your time, money and energy. The restaurant is known for its variety of delicious Asian and European food. I'd recommend this resort to those who are looking for an authentic, enjoyable, relaxing stay away from their burstling city and hectic schedule.

We just spent a day for lunch and enjoy the private beach as well as the pool. The menu is varied and at reasonable prices. The private beach is well maintained. A very nice Manager.

From our room we had a great view of the pool, ocean and lots of vegetation! The room is a "shabby shiek" design and we loved it — Quirky and upscale, just our type of environment The food here is literally award winning and delicious, which is honestly surprising because a few other resorts we've stayed in had mediocre food… But not this place, great food! Basically we had two nights booked here and we added on two more. Friendly staff and free rides to and from the airport. Do it up!

Food was delicious. Nice bungalow with good interior design. The river view ones were not perfect to stay at night due to mosquitoes. Quiet place to relax. Worth the price.

Scenery is good. Food is mediocre. Service is also mediocre. English language skills of wait staff were bad. Even with a native Vietnamese speaker, they messed things up.

It is true that it is a little expensive, but there is a beautiful private beach and the food is delicious.

Location is nice, beach clean and quit. Food is delicious but can last up to 1 hour. Staff is friendly but a bit unorganized. Rooms are clean with enough space. For some rooms garden view can mean look at reception without patio, so check in advance what you get, that's why 3 stars only.

The restaurant is expensive and the quality is poor. Server not simpatique.

The cuisine is delicious and no more pluses. It is not finished yet and not cleaned the beach and stuff. Money which it is not worth asking.
