The hotel organises great tours of food outlets and the floating markets with Thoai — these are absolutely worth signing up for even if you don’t stay there!

Nice people working here. Rooms are standard rooms and nothing fancy. A little far from the pier but the surrounding area is a nice walk. Good hotel.

First impressions are the ones always remembered. A warm welcome was received as I entered the building. The receptionist was excellent and perhaps her title should be changed to concierge as her efficiency in quickly processing me in good English was completed in short time with a raft of additional information for me to consider The hotel is less than 10 years old, is well maintained and very clean. All other staff members seemed to have the same efficient but very helpful attitude toward their customers. As I was staying only two days I chose the budget room and found it completely adequate for my purposes. Very clean with a comfortable double bed, fan, air conditioner, telephone. No other furniture and no television. But as most programmes are in Vietnamese that is not an issue. This is the first hotel I have stayed at that had hot, hot water in the bathroom. This being supplied from the solar heating system on the roof. The upper level has a kitchen from which a basic complementary breakfast is provided. The breakfast area has ample tables and chairs for all and with potted plants it has a very relaxed environment with views over the city. If I was in Cần Thơ again I would come back to the Hotel Xoai.

The place is central in the city, quiet hotel, room for 2 a little small but clean and very practical (air-con, fans, hot shower, plugs, sink and toilets included… Haven't tasted the breakfast but it was included. We arrived 0h30 am and left at 3h30 am, without any problem. I recommend :) PS: motorbike rent is by a third-party, by full day.

Cheap and clean. Extremely kind staff. But rooms are small (we knew that before and they showed us the rooms first). The only negative point: It’s a bit loud and some rooms have windows without curtains. And the breakfast is a bit poor…

Rooms are basic, but the location is good. I recommend going on the food tour that they offer.

Rooms were small (we knew this before going) and they let us see it before agreeing to take it. Staff was helpful and pleasant. Breakfast was basic, bread and jam. Location was about 30 minutes walk to the river where all the action is, not much nearby in the way of stores for supplies, but was cheap so can't really complain. A/C was ok but not great.

Clean, comfortable, and inexpensive. Helpful and resourceful staffs. Their food tour is highly acclaimed.

Great and helpful staff, good value for money! Beautiful rooftop! The staff also helped us to book the bus for the Station. Room clean and air conditioning perfectly functioning! Recommended!

The cheapest rooms are small, however for 220, 000 vd they are much better value than a dormitory. I enjoyed a good nights sleep.

Clean and comfortable hotel at a budget rate. They have one particular room which must surely be the smallest double room ever but it's ultra cheap and still has a fully functioning modern bathroom.

I had a good time to talk with the lady by chance. The hotel is reasonable price. But do not expect about breakfast.

We stayed there while visiting Can Tho. The price value was good despite the budget room was really small, but if you stay only few days it's big enough. The cleanliness and the location was ok. We missed a shop nearby. The staff was friendly. They also offer a rooftop where you can escape the city noise. If we would go back to the city we would stay again there.

Stayed in two different rooms here, the twin room and the budget double room. The twin room was nicer, the budget double room was very very small. Do not suit travelers with big luggage. Very clean and very friendly staff. I liked the location a lot, a bit far too the waterfront but if you walk Nguyễn Việt Hồng road against the park you will pass a few local restaurants and coffee shops so just stop there and take a short break. The rooftop terrace adds to the value. I would definitely stay here again.

Nice and friendly staff. They helped me to book the bus to Chau doc. The food tour and full-day private tour are awesome.

My friend and I stayed at this hotel when we were in Can Tho. Not being fussy travellers, we opted for the cheapest room even though we were warned that it is tiny. Considerately, the receptionist insisted on leading us to see the room we are paying peanuts for before we take it. It was indeed a small and simple room, but cosy enough to stay in for a few nights. The hotel is a long walk away from the riverside where most of the action is, but there is plenty to see during that walk. If you are interested, there are some food and sights information of the surrounding area conveniently laid out in the hotel lobby. The receptionist even provides a map of the area if you need it. The reception is wo-manned by two friendly girls who speak excellent English. Upon hearing that I’m travelling up north through Vietnam soon, they became utmost helpful in dishing out suggestions and sights for my upcoming travels. In addition, they were also able to answer many queries regarding our onward trip to Cambodia.

One of the best buget places I've stayed at during my 2 month tour of Vietnam. I had a perfect tiny little room with great AC and a very clean bathroom. Loved it! Great value for the money.
