Best of best hostel in hanoi.

Loved my stay here… specially the breakfast & the atmosphere. The travel desk is super helpful. The only problem I faced was the floor I was assigned to. With luggage climbing upto 5th floor on those narrow steps was really a task. Location is very nice with almost all tourist places nearby…

Had a lovely stay here, great atmosphere and staff, love the free beer (6pm-6.30pm). Good location too, in the Old Quarter but away from the busiest/nosiest areas. Comfy beds and clean rooms, would have liked curtains for the beds though. Would totally stay again!

Thank you Old Quarter View Hanoi Hostel for making my stay here in Hanoi wonderful and comfy It really is a home away from home The room is very clean and the free breakfast is the best free breakfast that I've tried ever in my 1 year of traveling outside the Philippines. Special mention to the accommodating staffs Jenny and Thu for booking my Halong Bay Tour with Swan Cruise which I enjoyed a lot! Hopefully I can visit Hanoi again and will definitely stay in this amazing hostel.

It's a really nice hostel that is in great location and has many friendly staff. Wifi access and free beer are pretty good offer. You can meet there many friendly and sweet people from all around the world. You can make sweet friends there. I do love it.

Nice, clean hostel with very soft beds. A-C was Really Good. The vibe at the evening was Really Nice, you can easy meet new people especially when There is free beer (twice an evening)

Nice and clean hostel. Friendly and caring staff. Bring your own lock for the big locker belonging to your bed. Towel is included. Nice breakfast (10 different offers).

Neat and clean, great location, nice vibe, friendly staff. We stayed in a twin private room. It was small but had everything you need. Even fresh towels every day and a balcony with a view of the city. Highly recommended!

ConS: -The check out is at 11am but at 10am people from the hostel staff comes in the room VERY LOUDLY (talking at the phone, talking with each other) and turning the light on and waking up everyone. That's horrible. -In their "rules" is written "no drinking in the room"… I just can't understand WHY… PRO: -Very central in the middle of bars and cheap eateries. -very comfortable beds with thick and soft matress. -lockers just next to the bed (next to your head on the bed). -clean and hot showers with a lot of water and compartments for putting your clothes while showering.

Pros: — Love the ambiance, this place is very lively! — Located at very happening area, close to weekend night market and Bia Hoi corner, but we can still sleep peacefully without any noise. They have a sign of 'no noise after 11PM or you will be kicked out by a local knight' in front of the hostel. — The bed is clean and comfortable, bathroom is well-equipped with modern design — Staff is very fluent in English, polite and helpful — Breakfast is good Cons: — No blind for bunks — The tour package from their travel desk can cost more than other options outside.

One of the best hostels I have stayed in! The dorms are super clean, good variety of breakfast options, the staff are so friendly and helpful and it's so easy to meet fellow travellers!

We stayed here when we visited Hanoi 3 weeks ago. They were very flexible with our itinerary even if they don't have to. The rooms were well maintained. Queen-sized beds were comfortable. The toilets and showers were clean. They have free beer every 6pm. They have also free breakfast. They are located in Old Quarter. Stay here when you visit Hanoi.

The hostel has a great location in the middle of the old quater of hanoi. The rooms are clean and the beds are pretty comfortable. Mattresses are a but old and you slide into the middle easily. The free beer in the evening is great. The tours sold at the hostel itself are very overpriced and it makes sense to go 100m to find a cheaper agency. In the 6 bunk rooms there are double mattresses which are only decided by a curtain which I didn't like.

A Hostel of 10, the room and the bathroom very clean, comfortable rooms, correct breakfast, friendly and attentive staff.

Good beds, easy to meet people, very good Wi-Fi, A/C 24/7 and the most important thing: amazing staff! I was suffering from a severe food poisoning and they took such a good care of me. Brought me bread and water to the room, arranged a ride to the hospital and gave me a bed to rest till my flight back home, even though I was supposed to check out hours ago! Amazing! Can't thank them enough.

Most of the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. One guy seemed like he couldnt be arsed, but everyone else was top notch. Clean, bright and comfy. Plenty of secure storage in the rooms. Lots of choice for the free breakfast. Free beer for 30mins eacg evening to promote socializing. Only con would be that sound really carries from the common area and up the stairs. I was on the third floor and could hear almost everything. So pack earplugs.

Good place to stay… A lot of nice street food nearby…

Very nice hostel — very clean and reasonably priced. Free breakfast and great location.

My first impression was friendly and supportive staff. Then, the room is neat and tidy, every room has AC, reading light and small case for personal items or books. Shared washroom and bathroom are well-designed, clean equipped with hot showers. And of course, they offer competitive price. 10-15 USD/ night, breakfast is inclusive, also you and join in free beer club from 6:30-9PM. Thank you all, I hope to come back soon. Stayed here two times. One of the best hostels I've ever visited. Staff is fluent in English, in-house restaurant is reasonably priced and offers tasty dishes. Rooms are VERY clean with their own bathroom. They offer all the amenities a backpacker may need. Also free beer for 30min every day.

Best backpackers hostels in Vietnam. Pros: Nice sized lockers, showers not connected to toilets, clean, friendly staff, free breakfast, good location, cheap beer and food. They also have CCTV for safety. Cons; several floors and no elevators. Can be difficult for some to climb to your room. No early check-in. Note: It's a little hidden from the street. So be sure to look down the alley way. Tip: Go there on the weekends. The lake area is closed off to traffic making it much more enjoyable.

You have to get dressed in the shower. No elevator (but most places don't have elevators)

Superb price-quality ratio. Very good care and very good breakfast (open bar (juice, coffee, tea and fruit).

This is the best hostel of my trip. The beds are comfortable and don't move, and each bed had a large locker so there are no bags thrown around the room, and your stuff is safe. Bring your own lock for the large locker, and you also get a small cabinet with a key provided. Free breakfast and a half hour free beer social time each night with small batch draft beer. Even if you don't stay here, it's the cheapest beer around when is not free hour!

Super comfortable beds! Place is clean and staff is friendly and helpful. You get a lock box next to your bed (locks with a key) and a second box under your bed (this one doesn't have a lock but you can buy a lock for $1.50 USD). Room is locked too, only accessible by key card. Bathrooms are clean and have four showers and two toilets. Breakfast is included. Stayed in 12 person room. Soap and shampoo in shower. They give you a towel and toothbrush.

I loved this Hostel. Everything very clean and organized. Towels clean every day. Breakfast spectacular. Beds large and very comfortable for a Hostel.
