Nice room, big bed, thick blanket, have elevator, lots of breakfast, people is very nice But very slow Wi-Fi.

Good bfast buffet. Good friendly staff. Thought some staff can't speak English, still very helpful. Nice location, for the price we paid, very good value good money.

Clean & inexpensive specially with buffet breakfast. You can choose pho beef/chicken, w/eggs & crepe. Not bad.

Very nice service. Unfortunately the classic room is a bit moldy. That should be renewed. I can't say anything about the other rooms. The hotel is already a total older!
But the staff is the hammer and mega helpful! The bed was very small for two and the bathroom was also a bit off.

A+ for customer service, A+ for location, D for the room. Our first room smelled of black mould, and it was all over the bathroom. We complained and the staff happily moved us. Our second room was much better, but still a little mould around the sink — no smell. I'm giving the hotel a 4 because the staff were extremely helpful, accommodating and eager to support us as needed. The location is perfect for exploring the old quarter, cathedral district and French quarter on foot. We did not spend much time in the room, so it was fine for us.

I was a bit disappointed after reading so many positive reviews. My room without a window (I knew about it) was worn out, stains and scratches on the wall, stains on the bed sheets, killed 2 cockroaches when I entered the room, A/C was noisy as hell. Breakfast was average, slow coffee refills. At checkout they made me pay 10k for a water bottle from the minibar even though I insisted I did not take it.

Pros: good location, very easy to visit many fanous places nearby, staff are nice and friendly, breakfast is good, room is nice. cons: the room size is a bit small.

Great location 5 minutes to the lake and easy to other places, the staff is helpful and friendly, they have travel information with great price which reasonable. We ask them to buy train ticket which cheaper compare to other travel agency. Breakfast buffet provided from 6.30am — 10.30am, 7 level with lift. Will stay here again if travel, recommend. Thanks.

Great location in the old quarter. The staff are amazing and couldn't do more to help. We were checking out early for a trip to Sapa and they provided a rather good take away breakfast for us. Would stay there again if ever in Hanoi.

This place is pretty decent for its price. Friendly staff and clean rooms. Definitely great value for their location. Though not on the main street. Its only 5 mins walk away from the night market. Somewhat peaceful and yet convenient.

We were searching for a hotel at 4am due to a bad experience for not being able to get our rtoom even though we have book with expedia. Make a quick check online to see which hotel might be available. Found one on expedia website. We went to the hotel dragging our luggage with only 2 hour of sleep. Went into the hotel, knock on the door. Feel bad for the staff who was taking a rest as its was the wee hour. They woke up and told us that there are no room available until 12pm. But the best thing is that they have told us that we are able to sleep at the spa room till a room is available for us. We try to get a 1 or 2 hour quick rest at the spa room. Went out for nearby breakfast came back at 9am. The hotel staff who’s name I didn’t get was very friendly and mention that they could get a room ready by 9am. Sure thing is we got a room at 9am which is earlier than check in time. They really understand the situation that we have went through and try to accommodate us. They even give us direction and help us on what are the places with great food and locations of famous travel agency which we were looking for. Even though we were not booking with them. Overall the rooms are spacious. Bath room is really clean. They have an awesome breakfast buffet style. I can see that their cleaning service team is dedicated and really work as a team clearing up the other room when I walked pass. Worth staying at this hotel with affordable price.

Excellent hotel, cool area very good service.

BEWARE hotel will steal from you. Jerry the front desk employee booked us a flight and charged us almost $300 usd but only to find out he took our money and never booked anything we have been trying to get our money back for a month now. Other than that the hotel needs much improving and I would reccoment staying at one of the near by hotels there are plenty of them for the same price and better quality.

Don't stay here Jerry the gentleman working at the front desk scammed us of $300 USD… plenty of hotels in the area for a better price and quality.

Very good hotel. Clean rooms helpful staff and great service. The location is perfect for exploring the city. The hotel offers tours, the quality is okay you can buy cheaper trips with the similar quality outside.

Great location but really only for a couple of nights suitable with strong nerves. A little dirty but very protecting personnel.

It is really lovely boutique hotel & Spa in Hanoi. All of the staff are friendly & spoken great English. You can book the Spa here which is really good & cheap price, we got 20% didcount by our Hotel recomemnd it. All in all are great.

Mai Charming Boutique Hotel located in the perfect location. Just 2 minutes walk to Hoan Kiem lake and Water puppet theatre and just 10 minutes walk to Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, Army museum, One-pillar pagoda as wel as Temple of literature and Railway station. The room is nice and well-equipped with laptop and free Wi-Fi, working desk, nice bathroom and Comfy bed. The staff are nice and helpful and always try their best to help you with everything. Especially, There is a great Spa at the first floor and ground floor with the most reasonable price and nice staff. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to stay in Hanoi for trips.
