I give this hotel a three star rating. Personally, the experience was below 1 star. But bed bugs is a problem that a hotel can't do so much about. Or can it.? In any case, this was the first hotel that I stayed in Hanoi. The staff is nice, they offer a breakfast and the room looked quite nice. It is big and had a double bed and a smaller bed. Fortunately I put my bags as always as far away from the big bed as possible, on a chair/on the small bed. In fact, so nice that I decided to stay another night. The second night I stayed awake until 2am and was surfing on my phone. I got a bit itchy, so I turned on the lights. Background: I have been traveling for nearly 6 months, and seen two bed bugs so far. Last time many months ago, and before this hotel I stayed in a really good quality place in BKK for almost two weeks without any problems. Well, I see not only one bed bug, but two. I took the pillow up and found a couple more, ripped the sheets up and found even more. In different sizes. I took pics as proof and immediately checked out at 2am. Had to struggle not having to pay for the whole night, but I told the (nice) staff that his boss can come to the hotel to negotiate with me, otherwise I'm out. Anyway, I had a rough time finding a place, but found one after 3am. As I already mentioned, it might not be the hotel's fault (unless they are aware of the problem).
