A very nice hotel with everything you need. Across the street from the beach. Has a rooftop pool. For a small fee they have a shuttle to Hoi An which is very convenient. Staff is very friendly and constantly trying to help. Giving it 4 stars because some little things were missing to make it a solid 5. There are so many hotels in this area and the competition is high, which requires higher standards from each hotel. The water in the sink wasn't draining fast enough so it accumulated while brushing teeth. There are only two elevators and many times both were full so we had to wait for about 5 minutes. There was noise in the hallway which was a little annoying especially in the morning. We asked for late check out and were allowed to stay until 1pm. Some of the other hotels offer later check out. We've been in other 4 star hotels in Vietnam and felt like this one is "almost there" and needs just few more extras.
During my 3 week stay in Vietnam I stayed at 5 different hotels. Diamond Sea was so nice, I enjoyed two seperate, 3 day stays. The cleanliness was 5 Star and the staff was perfection in motion. The breakfast buffet is included and the selections are many, fresh and delicious. The coffee has to be one of the best in the world. The rooftop pool has a 5 Star view and the food/beverage service are great. The cleanliness of the pool is worth mentioning and the pool towels smell delightful. The hotel is across the street from the sand/beach but none of the 4 Star hotels that I experienced or saw were actually on the sand. As long as you get a room with an outside balcony, you will not be disappointed.
