Awful. It is advertised as a hotel but a guest house is more accurate. The taxi driver dropping us off also warned us that getting a taxi to pick us up from there might be problematic as the streets are quite windy and narrow.
The room smelt of wet dog, the toilet had an aroma reminiscent of shared toilets in a roadside service station and the sheets were not clean.
There were stains which we were told they could not get out. Fine if that is your own home but you are providing a service and charging for it so cleanliness should be the first priority. The manager did bring new sheets but when we opened them out we found dried snot in one corner.
We were not prepared to sleep somewhere dirty where we could catch goodness knows what from the stains we could see.
We left and found a much nicer hotel closer to the centre.
Really good place to stay in Samarcand. The family running the hotel is really nice and welcoming. The rooms and bathrooms are really good and the location is 10 min by foot to the main Registan square and like 15-20 min walk to the other tourist attractions. I really recommend it.
Only tip, bring cash money as you pay by cash there (you can pay Euros, Dolars or Sums)

Wonderful family run hotel within walking distance of the Registan Square. Raxim and his family are welcoming and do a great job. They are very helpful with local attractions and planning days out. The rooms are clean and spacious with good selections for breakfast. Would definitely recommend staying here.
