The room was very clean and the stuff was friendly.
A family-run guest house in an excellent location. You are a five minute walk from Registan Square and less than two minutes from Emirhan, which is a great dining option in Samarkand. It was not a dissimilar feel to a hotel — reception on ground floor, restaurant downstairs, and rooms one floor up. But be mindful there is no housekeeping, the restaurant only offers breakfast, and the family speak no English. We had a mixup with our pickup from the train station and needed to take a taxi, but it was otherwise a very nice stay.
