Colonia hotels with breakfast

Positive experience all around. Very close walk to ATMS, the waterfront, restaurants and shops, etc. Host was very excellent and spoke very good English. Breakfast available as well.

Beautiful location affordable rates and very comfortable rooms with livingroom and balcony. Bathrooms are small. Breakfast buffet basic but everything is freshly baked.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The family room was clean and spacious enough for 4. The staff were very friendly and extremely helpful when asked for directions or advice.

We decided to visit Colonia on a side trip from Buenos Aires and stayed over a single night so we could experience the town when it wasn't full of tourists.

We visited as part of a tour of Argentina and Uruguay. We had a lovely welcome by the team who were so friendly.

Great location just outside the historic area on a quiet street. The building is old. There's a pool and outdoor seating area. The rooms are small and dated. The AC and fan don't work well.

Convenient location for a tour around the old city area, close to port and bus station, and walking distance to the beaches.

Excellent service, location and rooms. Perfect for a 1 or 2 night stay.

. We stayed in a standard room overlooking the rear courtyard of the hotel. It was very quiet and peaceful. Our room was nicely decorated, comfortable and clean. The spa bathtub was a surprise.

Pains me to only give 4 stars. Guess ought to be 4.5…

The location is perfect and the rooms are comfortable, clean, and beautiful. We had a balcony overlooking the water and sunsets were breathtaking.

Lovely hotel with a fabulous pool…. We decided to stay an extra night because we loved the area. The guys played golf and we cycled to a couple wineries.

This charming little hotel attracts visitors from all over, including day-trippers from nearby Buenos Aires.

Viajero Posada is a very pleasant place to stay. It is very well located and not far away the ferry station. Only twin blocks away from the old Portuguese church and the very center of Colonia.

We stayed two nights at this quaint and characterful hotel with shutters on the windows, old wooden furniture and a four poster bed. There was also an easy-to-operate safe in our (lockable) wardrobe.

This is a top class place to stay in Colonia del Sacramento. I spent 4 nights here in May of this year, 2023.

Was slightly worried when I read reviews the day before my stay but can honestly say there were no issues.
The hotel is a little dated but clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Dorm rooms were great, everything was clean and a big locker to secure your belongings, a towel is also provided which was nice. Large kitchen, and nice outdoor seating areas front and back.

Nice clean place right next to the old colonial town, 5 minute walk to the sea wall, good facilities with a nice yard, kitchen even an asado grill, and a 24 hour helpful staff. Very good prices.

Highly recommended and nothing was too much trouble for the very helpful staff.

My wife and I enjoyed a two night stay here. Our room was very comfortable and the breakfast the inn served was delicious and well portioned.

The property is very big. My room is the cleanest I've experienced in my 6 weeks so far in South America. Location is fantastic.

The room was very comfortable with an ensuite bathroom. We had to check out early when leaving but we're provided with a nice little breakfast. The staff are very friendly and approachable.

Old style hotel, recommendable if you are that person that spends all day out there and you return to the hotel for having a bath, relaing in the swimming pool and sleeping.

If I could give the Hotel Italiano more than 5 stars I would.
I’ve stayed at a lot of other hotels in Colonia on previous trips, including the Radisson.

Staying at the Hotel Royal for a few days and it’s all good. All the staff friendly and helpful, nice pool and garden area, breakfast good too!

The staff is very friendly and professional, and guests speak highly of them. Housekeeping could be improved, but overall the guests were satisfied with their stay.

The room is modern, comfortable, with a big kitchen, which makes you feel you are at home.
Make sure to stay in the front rooms, the sunsets on the river are unforgettable.

Entreviñas, Almacén de la Capilla, and Diego and Ana are each more wonderful than the next. We're so glad we stayed at Entreviñas to explore the Carmelo and Colonia Estrella region.

Prepare to bring your own shampoo and conditioners. The rooms were good in general but some aspects could have been improved.
