A truly exceptional stay! We spent a three-day weekend in The Suite at Shell Beach Inn, and it could not have been more perfect for our trip to Shell Beach.

Our stay at Shell Beach Inn was very comfortable. The area is quiet and yet still near Pismo Pier. Loved the park nearby, walking distance. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

This is a fantastic Inn! The view is phenomenal — the balcony is right over the water. The room was immaculate and comfortable. They thought of everything.

Went for 3 nights and stayed in an oceanfront king room. Had an awesome stay. The property has really nice seating chairs and fire pits with gorgeous views.

Beautiful location with rooms right at the water. Having the balcony was great. Even during the month of February it was nice to sit out and enjoy the ocean breeze and the sound of crashing waves.

We really like staying here. I really liked the heated pool. I like that you can walk back and find the beach in the backyard pretty much. The rooms were nice and comfortable too.

Positive: The location was good as well as a beautiful view of the sunset.

Have stayed at this location for the last ten years, each time we visit Pismo. The location is incredibly beautiful, and my kids always enjoy their heated pool and jacuzzi. The staff is very friendly.

This place is just beautiful. Rooms are always very clean. The view to the ocean is amazing. Plenty of lounging areas outside with bbq pits for your pleasure. Nice pool area as well.

I was there for a free movie night they hosted. The view is incredible. Only saw the pool and on site restaurant but both looked beautiful.

The Cliffs Resort never ceases to impress. The staff are wonderful, the resort is clean, the location is PERFECT! Extra awesome that we were able to bring our dogs! THE BEST!

Hubby and I stayed here for the very first time last night for a staycation. We live about 20 minutes away from Pismo Beach and Pismo or Avila Beach is our go to for a staycation.

We stayed here for our 25th wedding anniversary this week and I cannot wait to return! We had a king ocean view suite and it was amazing. The view was incredible from the balcony.

I was shocked when I got here. The hotel is beautiful. The rooms are beautiful. We are actually staying here right now. I’m at the hotel. They have fireplaces. They’re clean the view.

My friend and I stayed at Cottage Inn by the Sea for his birthday Feb 4-8. We had another couple of friends join us Friday the 6th.

Beautiful Hotel with gorgeous rooms, nice balconies and big sized rooms. Not to mention the amazing views of the beach from the room.

This place was amazing! Great view! Close to everything! Great restaurant at the lobby. My only gripe was that in our room you can tell the beds were missing the box springs.

The Owners run the location they are a very sweet couple with little ones. I love hotels like this you know they put their heart & soul into the hotel.

We genuinely enjoy staying at Beachwalker Inn & Suites, and we’ve returned more than once.

The location is great. About 30 yards from the beach. Great sunsets! You check in in a neighboring hotel because there is no office on the premises.

I’m a World Mark owner. It’s always very difficult to get into Pismo Beach, but it is a very nice location and the rooms have been updated.

Let me start by saying this hotel is amazing! The service! The lady at the front desk (sprry forgot your name) was amazing! The room was exactly what me and my family were looking!

Arrived a little past 10pm. Quick check in. Clean room. Pups were allowed and given a bag of chicken jerky. Walking distance to beach/coffee shops/ breakfast spots.

You get what you pay for. If you manage your expectations for a motel less than $200 only 100 yards from the beach then you won’t be disappointed.

Stayed here for 3 days and was pleased with the price and the stay in the room with my wife & 3 kids. Not a fancy place but very decent.

Such a beautiful experience and staff that gave top notch service. From the welcome with fresh baked cookies to the on-site dog park every part of the experience was amazing.

We had an excellent time. Very cute place. Zack and Ashlyn were so friendly and attentive. We had trouble with our outside fireplace and Zack came right away to solve our issue.

Been coming to this hotel every year for the past 8 years. We love staying here the rooms get the job done and the location is nice.

Friendly staff, clean rooms and free breakfast. Oh… and the pool is heated to about 85 degrees and the enormous hot tub is heated hot like it should be.

The best! Loved every minute of our getaway to Sycamore💕 This resort offers everything! We ordered a charcuterie board for our arrival which was so good after the road trip.

Service is outstanding. Everybody tries their best to be as accommodating and customer service focused as possible and you can really feel it in the staff here.

The room was pretty nice and very clean, which is what you expect at a Hilton. Only minor thing about the room was the shower curtain was a bit torn on the hooks.

I stay here every time I am in Pismo, probably 4-5 times a year. It’s consistent. Decent rooms, not amazing, a little worn but perfectly fine.

Our stay at the Avila Village Inn was so great! The newly remodeled rooms are beautiful! We booked for a family trip and it was so relaxing with the balcony view.

I really enjoyed my stay. The bathroom was beautiful, the bed was comfortable. It was quiet except for the relaxing ocean waves. I enjoyed the free pie, ice cream and delicious breakfast!

Location, ambiance, and beautifully appointed rooms. We went on a holiday weekend and an upgraded room so it was pricey. Come on a weekday is less expensive. Close to lots of shops and restaurants.

I love this place and have stayed at least a dozen times on my way south or north in CA. It has a TON of character with the western Spanish and Cowboy feel.

We arrived around 5:30 PM on a Tuesday in December and were immediately welcomed by a beautifully decorated Christmas lobby.

We stayed at Holiday Inn Express Grover Beach–Pismo Beach for 3 nights over Martin Luther King weekend and had a great experience.

Working in Grover we were put up here. Reasonably priced & located right off the highway. Parking isn't spectacular & fair warning only a single entryway around a slight blind corner.

We enjoyed our stay! Although they are renovating, they did their best to reduce noise. The view from our patio was beautiful. A easy walk to downtown if you are a regular/ daily walker.

I highly, highly recommend this hotel. Especially if you like solitude. We were there in November and it's a very peaceful place. Special thanks for the retractable mirror 🙏🏻

Booked last minute. It was a good price! Alan helped us at the front to get checked in, very swift and easy. Our rooms were nice and clean.

I stay there first time and I love it. Location is very great just next to 101 and very quiet and clean rooms. Get fresh towels every morning and housekeeping staff doing their job well.

This place saved our vacation! We had just had a bad experience in Carpinteria at a Motel 6. Then, we were looking for another hotel to stay at in either Carpinteria, or Santa Barbara.

Such a great hotel right in The Village of Arroyo Grande. Easy walk to coffee, restaurants, bars, etc.

Not bad at all. There were a few dogs next door howling but it didn't last long and it expected with pets allowed at this location. I'll be going back for sure.

This motel provides a comfortable experience for a feasible price. The rooms are clean and spacious. This motel has been to house the USC club water polo for its endeavors in pursuing greatness.

The best motel, so many memories, the heaters put in overtime to warm us up. I love this place this so much that I even came back again. Might be haunted? But tbh it adds aura.
