I stayed here three nights while on a golfing tour. Loved it. The rooms are immaculate. Very modern, spacious and comfortable. The service was excellent. Staff very helpful and friendly.

We had an amazing stay at Hope Street Hotel and could not fault the experience.

Truly love this hotel, this was our third visit.
Corner rooms are huge, bed amazing and leather sofa comfortable, huge bathroom with large bath and huge shower.

We were staying in another hotel and our room was 80-90°. We called and asked if they had A/C because we haven’t been able to sleep the last few nights.

We loved this hotel. Great spot right in the centre of Southport. Room was good with aircon. All the staff were friendly and very helpful.

One of the best hotels I’ve stayed in. Lovely interior and decor. And the spa facilities were brilliant.

Comfortable rooms and plenty of space. Very noisy heating/air-conditioning though.
Bathrooms are a bit dated but clean and spacious.
Check-in was quick and easy, kind attentive staff.

We arrived last Tuesday and left last Friday. From the moment we got out of the taxi my mother and I were greeted by the door man Mark, who took in our cases. I felt like royalty.

Lovely place to stay if in Southport. We had a newly refurbished room overlooking Lord Street. Clean room with a comfortable bed and pillows. Lovely staff.

Just had a lovely stay at The Bold Hotel. Room spacious and very clean. Staff all friendly and helpful especially Anne on reception and her male reception colleague.

Its location is really good, close to everything. The room was spotless and plenty of room in it, bed was very comfortable.

A great welcome on arrival, and friendly, helpful and really thoughtful staff on reception throughout the whole stay. Room was great, comfy and clean. Air con a massive bonus.

Currently, the hotel is accommodating government asylum refugees and not open to the general public.

Can not say about rooms this time as we only came to the restaurant. Myself and friend came in as just walk ins for a meal the staff were lovely and polite.

A good hotel, probably the best in the local area. Well maintained, clean. The bar and restaurant are both good, with reasonable prices. The staff are friendly and helpful.

We booked this hotel at the very last minute and got an amazing deal, which was three times cheaper than it would’ve been the following week.

Tried this Hotel as had exhausted our past usual stops. We where very impressed with the hotel and the Queen sized beds. The food was great and staff very helpfull and friendly.

It is old. Its is such a lovely atmosphere. All the staff are lovely, helpful, nothing to much for them.

The location was fantastic right next to the lake and not far from the shops and restaurants.

What a hidden gem! We only stayed one night but wish it could have been longer so we will definitely be back.

We had the most incredible wedding day at Hillbark and couldn’t recommend it enough. From start to finish, everything was absolutely perfect.

Me and my Now Wife got married on 27/06/2026, and to the build up we had the privilege of working with Margaret who was absolutely amazing, never missed a single detail, made us feel like royalty!

Enjoyed an overnight stay here with the family. Indoor facilities like pool, sauna and jacuzzi were good. The steam room was faulty. The hotel staff made us feel welcome.

They were clearly going through some major renovations to the common areas as there wasn’t really much in the ways of that but my private room was good value I thought and had a large bathroom with

Our experience was top notch. Ellie was super helpful and nice, gave us lots of information and made sure that we had everything we needed.

The rooms are spacious, clean and comfy with tea and coffee facilities. The food is good quality for the price. 2 for 1 drinks and good entertainment on the tribute weekend.

Stayed for 2 tribute nights Rod Stewart tribute and Elvis they were both excellent. The breakfast buffet was very good. Evening meal was very nice 😋
We had a 2for1 bar from 7pm until 10pm.

Our second one night stay within the year and we've been really happy with our stay both times.
It's a place with large grounds and lots of interesting history.

I have just returned from a 2 night stay and everything was super positive about my stay. For the price, I was blown away at the rooms, service, cleanliness, grounds and the staff team.

A beautiful hotel in a lovely old building in a great location. It was very well maintained. The service was great.

Booked here last minute due to a bad experience with a previous hotel. The staff were amazing from the moment we arrived. Room was super clean, decent size and had an extremely comfy bed.

Stayed for 3 nights, handy location for the town and station. A lovely couple run it and the rooms had everything needed and very clean. Highly recommended and will look to stay there again.

As always brilliant, nothing too much trouble, we would only stay here if in Southport. Thanks to Ali and Michelle for a wonderful break, amazing breakfast and fabulous hosts.

The room is spectacular — we felt like we were in a movie set! Four of us comfortably fitted in, two tweens and us parents. Lovely comfy beds, neat little kitchen, hot shower… perfect.

This was a great choice for a one night stopover. The studio was well-equipped with a proper kitchen with microwave, fridge, complimentary tea/coffee etc. And spacious shower room.

This hotel is absolutely fabulous, rooms are a credit to the owner. The photos of the place don't really do it justice. We will highly recommend this place and will definitely be returning.

Well worth the 4* rating. Beautifully furnished room and communal areas. Spotlessly clean throughout. Our room "Victoria" was a great size with big and very comfortable bed.

A truly outstanding stay — Premier Inn Lime Street, 4 Bolton St.
I arrived just after midnight, travelling alone and wanting somewhere close to the station.

The rooms are exactly what you need, although a couple of strange brown patches outside the bathroom and normal iron shapped burn on carpet.
