I’ve just returned from a fabulous stay at this gorgeous guesthouse.

We booked here in January for a short family (with the dog) break for August. We had heard of all the good reviews and safe to say we were not dissapointed in the slightest.

We couldn’t rate the Cottage Hotel highly enough. All the staff were friendly and faultless. The food was amazing and the views were to die for.

Another wonderful family holiday for us at the Cottage Hotel. This is my 18th year coming and now coming with my two small children (aged 4 and 9 months).

We had such a lovely stay camping at Cofton Holiday Park. The whole site is beautifully kept, with a really relaxed, friendly and welcoming atmosphere.

Liked: EVERYTHING! What a fabulous camp site. We booked a grass pitch with electric for our tent.

Thank you for another amazing anniversary break at the belgrave sands. I dont know what to say that I haven't already.

What a beautiful hotel! My partner and I had such a lovely stay at the Belgrave Sands and would absolutely come back again.

This wonderful 5 * hotel and spa never ceases to amaze me with its attention to client comfort. We are due to leave this lovely place tomorrow and we will do so with a heavy heart.

A much needed break I wanted a hotel where I could relax and use spa facilities, so I chose this fabulous hotel.

Excellent location and welcome by staff. Rooms bit tired and evening meals not as good quality and choice as they used to be. Breakfast and lunch still Excellent.

I had a wonderful two night stay at the Victoria. The staff go above & beyond, the food is superb and such a choice. A great location, the facilities are brilliant, especially the swimming pools.

We just returned from our three-day stay at Riviera Lodge, and my husband and I were incredibly impressed by the service we received—it was a perfect 100/100.

Wow what a gem of a find — this hotel is a little oasis — it felt like we were abroad whilst longing by the pool.

My husband and I had wonderful spa experience from start to finish. The facilities were fantastic, with everything you could possibly need for a relaxing day.

We really enjoyed a couple of nights away as a couple. The hotel has a classic English family hotel feel — a little bit of an old fashioned experience, but definitely not stuffy or formal at all.

We had a truly lovely three night stay at The Langstone Cliff Hotel and we honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

A lovely hotel, everything you could want for a short holiday. The room was very good, clean, and bright with an excellent view across the grounds and out to sea.

We had a wonderful stay at the Red Lion Hotel in Clovelly. The hotel is lovely, clean, bright and fresh, with super friendly, polite and helpful staff who made us feel very welcome.

Had the most amazing 2 nights last weekend at The Red Lion. We received a wonderful friendly welcome from all the staff when we arrived. Every member of staff we met were warm, friendly and helpful.

I stayed at the Woolacombe bay hotel for 5 nights in August with my wife and two boys (who are 13 and 10).

Another excellent stay! Cleaning staff ensure bedrooms and general spaces are kept well. Grounds and pool staff do an excellent job of maintaining all the things guests dont think about or notice.

Fabulous star. Brilliant location. Owners delightful. Staff amazing can't do enough for you. Hotel really lovely. Terrace fantastic and meals can be served alfresco. Value for money outstanding.

Just returned from a two night Coastal Escape Package with friends.
A family run Hotel the staff are friendly and very professional.
We had a lovely cream tea on arrival which was delicious.

Has so many different rooms and outside seating.
Absolutely perfect for all occasions to be fair.

A day out and this chosen by my sister in law who lives in the area, and what a delightful ambience. Delicious food, super service and quite busy.

We havent stayed at the watermeet since pre COVID. We were concerned having read some the reviews, however our concerns were unfounded.

Fabulous views. Service was attentive but low season so not many on the restaurant. Indoor Pool small but clean and spa was good.

A must visit in itself or as a base for exploring South Devon. Very expensive but a bucket list item for Agatha Christie fans.

We have wanted to come here for many years but the cost was prohibitive for us. Finally, our Sapphire Wedding Anniversary seemed the time to seize the chance.

Just got back from a night stay for our 15 year anniversary. I cannot fault anything. It was stunning. The staff will do anything to help you, the room was incredible.

Great 2 night stay. Wonderfully comfortable rooms with a gorgeous bathroom and the bonus of our own private terrace. Dinner on the first night was exceptional. Michelin standard.

Travelled as two couples and had a really lovely weekend at Bossington Hall. Breakfasts were delicious and as leisurely as guests wanted.

I came to the venue for the weekend of my sister’s wedding. The whole place is stunning and in such a beautiful scenic spot. The room I stayed in was magnificent.

Excellent customer service! We stayed in Croydon house for a stag Doo and the place was beautiful and perfect for indoor and outdoor activities!

Lovely stay, had everything we needed as a family of 5 for a wonderful stay.

Very comfortable dog friendly (2) apartment and used the very nice hotel facilities. Short drive or walk down to the lovely Thurlestone beach. Not too busy when we were there but busier day we left.

Our Wedding at Elfordleigh ❤️ It was our first time staying at elfordleigh hotel.
We honestly couldn’t have wished for a more perfect place to celebrate our wedding day.

Where do we even begin? We got married at Elfordleigh Hotel on 18th July 2026, and it was quite simply the most magical day of our lives.

We stayed at the Hartnoll Hotel for a family wedding held in the gardens. The staff were welcoming, friendly and efficient. The rooms were spotlessly clean and well equipped.

We went to the Hartnoll on Friday for their regular Friday Fizz, and what a treat it was!
The setting is simply perfect – beautiful gardens, a relaxed atmosphere, and a lovely ambience throughout.

My wife and I went here for lunch and to walk our cocker spaniel on the adjacent track at the rear of the inn that winds through ancient woodland down to the cove at Heddon Mouth.

My husband and myself Called in for a baguette lunch before walking today, the lunch was good enough to encourage us back for dinner after our walk. I’m really glad we did.

We have just returned from a 2 night break at the Cary Arms with our 2 dogs. I can honestly say, that I didn’t want to come home.
The location is out of this world.

The perfect getaway – Cary Arms is on another level.

Beautiful location.
We attended for the 1 night spa break and had a 60 minute treatment each dinner and breakfast included also.
Cannot fault the spa or staff both were amazing.
