Great Place, very relaxing and luxurious, and just 5 Minutes away from the City Center.

Its a lovely place. The signpost though can not be seen easily.

I love the swimming pool. And the their security is so tight.

Nice quiet place great for planning retreats, the conference and lodging facilities are great but correctly pricef.

It's a nice place, not for everyone's pocket but still good. Located at a hill behind houses and roads, you can stay unnoticed and still enjoying the environment here away from Kampala usual noises.

It's a serene place just like its name.

I love the green around and ample parking space but I can't say much as I have not visited the rooms.

They're racist as hell! In their job application, they asked for managers who are preferably white. How can black Africans just allow themselves to be disrespected in their OWN land.

I for one love their honesty than many places you take your cv and they throw it in the bin just as you turn to leave because they are not bold enough to say what they prefer precisely. And secondly we as society/Ugandans/Africans have lead to this, we think once you go to any where that is managed by a white man in our own country then it’s the best place in town. So ya … I don’t blame them for using such critical measures to recruit and market their hotel in the long run. Business is about making money while meeting your customer’s needs. Nothing racist about the advert… it was just honest and clear what they where looking for. Cut them some slack for being honest guys. I always have had a good experience when I visit!

Slave mentality, plantation working ppl. If you are African and have any sense of pride. I wouldn’t stay here. The posted a job offer looking for a preferably “white” manager in a whole African country. This company is a disgrace.

Racist racist racist. Have you seen the job posting? Your in AFRICA but prefer for only white people to apply for a manager position? The hell out of here with that.

I call upon any Ugandan in the diaspora to never use this hotel. How does a hotel located in Uganda require people to be white in order to apply for some positions. Dont you know white people live in Europe. This is uganda and we are all black. Why don't you ship your stupid hotel to england, you will find so many white people there. And try to clean your swimming pool regularly it smells urine.

I thought I’d visit Uganda last you for my birthday so I checked in with this hotel originally I booked 3 rooms because it was a group of up, however, when arrived the only had one room in my name. Now I wasn’t about to spend 2 week cramped in one room so it took about 3 hours after my 20 hour flight to find another 2 rooms. Any who once it was over and done with we got our rooms and I needed a nap with in 15 of my nap I was attracted by bedbugs; me being how I am with bedbugs hoped out of my sleep immediately and called the hotel manager they told me that I may be allergic to something (which I am not, I know bedbugs when I’m bitten) long story short it took another 3 hours to get me a new room which also contain bedbugs so the next morning I traveled to stay at a new hotel tell running close to 2 days of no sleep.

Only hires Africans to do minimal job duties and whites and Indians as managers… no thanks I would like the whole cultural experience we will pass.

They don't pay their workers promptly. The feeding wasn't up to the standards expected. Their drinks are twice as costly as those of nearby local pubs.

This is racist establishment. Simply look at the job positing. The job posting for a Hotel Manager prefers a "White Person" and the Restaurant Manager prefers an "Indian Person". In this day and age, a hotel located in Kampala, Uganda serving the Ugandan community has chosen to be vividly racist in their job vacancy postings. Are we serious? Even in a time of economic uncertainty, the management at this place openly discourages locals from applying to higher end jobs. Look at the attached images for proof. One posting is from newspaper and another from the internet. (Just to make sure)

We had dinner for a group of maybe 30 guests. The staff was polite and helpful most of the time. The food was excellent and the usual buffet style fare. Clean. Private though getting there is challenging for anyone who does not know the area well.

This hotel is so interesting, first the good scenery, excellent food, excellent customer care.

Its a hidden sanctuary, a peaceful place with great ambiance.

Quiet place, serene just like the name suggests.

The service and the suite was excellent. Our three bedroom suite was very clean and comfortable. The manager and staff were very friendly and kind. Roland was our server and was exceptional! Will definitely recommend this place.

The hill too location and calm environment away from the city hustle is truly Serene.

It's a good place though it has a very small swimming pool and they put a lot I'd chlorine in the water.
