A lovely cosmopolitan city hotel. Very lovely and comfortable. Just a stone throw away from Kampala city. The amenities at the hotel are more than excellent. The staff are very helpful and friendly. The food is out of this world. Totally enjoyed my stay at Africana.

A very flexible hotel. They are willing to meet the needs of almost every of their target clientele.

The hotel compound is good. However you will find disrespectful and unprofessional staffs in the hotel. You will be charged for the service you are not informed and you do not used. The staffs treat their clients in unprofessional manner. You cant sleep well at night because of the noise by girls coming from outside looking for men. The daily rate of 120 USD never deserve for the poor service and hospitality of the hotel.

Nice place with good parking. Conference room need an extra touch.

The hotel has a number of conference rooms and guest rooms. It's quite spacious and conducive.

Spacious upto class hotel, modern facilities, accessible since its by the road with very professional customer care. Grt meals, swimming pool, conference facilities and also gardens for wedding and any other king of party reception.

Located at wampeewo Avenue, lower kololo. Near Aitel head offices. There so friendly, u came as a guest n leave as a friend.

A somewhat strange hotel, we were a bit disappointed with our room, especially for the price. What saves the place is the delicious great in the morning. I have also been here for work-related meetings and the food they serve at lunch is pretty decent.

This place is amazing try it out. Three course meal on point.

I love this hotel. It's all round. Anyone can be here from neonates to the elderly, food is tailored to your liking and their dishes are relatively cheap when you compare them to other 3+ hotels, for my moslem colleagues, the mosque is specially designed for you to be closer to The Almighty than ever before. The storey parking is impeccable, customer care is undoubtedly the best. You will never miss an appointment because your favourite dish you ordered before the appointment delayed. Let's meet their!

Health club is very good, Plenty of Parking space, Very close to the city centre. Prices are very friendly and affordable.

The food is really appetizing. The tea is made to perfection. Outstanding service overall.

Hotel Africana is one of the favorite venues in Kampala for events — social, official and public. Its closeness to the Central Business District makes it a favorite choice for businessmen, tourists and travellers. Its Conference facilities are of high quality as is it's accommodation.

A pleasant place to be. The room was well kept with all facilities functioning above average. The restaurant services were good with a variety of well prepared meals. The services rendered in the hotel can be adjudged as above average. However, there is need to increase subscription for TV programmes as there were only three programmes.

Hotel looks Nice but service is less. Cold showers, was called by reception at 11:30 pm while sleeping and first floor is very noisy. Lot of confusion about the airport shuttle. Too expensive for what you get.

Very spacious and conference halls, well decorated. They have a unique style in setting dinner tables, fantastic food while you enjoy some cultural dances and performance… Felt like a paradise dining there.

The place is nice for a quiet evening out. They have got nice gardens and the pool side has got a nice view. The service is quite fast. However at lunch time the place is usually crowded with many workshops and meetings taking place.

It was my firt time to attend a party here, I must say, the place is good, enough parking space, great staff, and great conference hall, the view of the swimming pool is nice too, I also liked their muffins. Over rall I would highly recommend it for big conferences and parties.

Very big and one of the oldest uganda Hotels. Swimming pool is good. Hotel Maintenance is very good. Apartments room maintenance will be good only if customer follows up on things for more times.

Big hotel, lots going on, conferences, live entertainment. Pool is nice. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Very secure and is favored by visitors. We rented a full suite a month and it was very suitable for stay.

I love using the swimming pool here. I had had dinner before here, and the food was delicious.

Overall a nice hotel with swimming pool and fitness centre. Rooms are big and comfortable… indian can ask for indian food for breakfast… overall satisfied.

Good hotel for business but a little too close to the city center hustle to be a place for relaxation.

Hotel Africans is very spacious with a lot of facilities including accommodation, conference, swimming pool, gym and fitness spa (aerobics), its very clean and with good security and fast internet. The place has good reception and hospitality. I enjoyed my stay at the place.

Very good hotel — all staff are extremely friendly and willing to assist wherever they can (very sympathetic and helpful when my baggage missed my flight and had to be retrieved from the airport the following day, and they made a big deal about wishing me for my birthday and even produced a cake! ) ; rooms are spacious and clean; dinner menu is excellent, although service a little slow. One criticism is that the breakfasts were very average, although the coffee was superb!

Pool is vert big. Rooms are nice. Spa us very good. Best part is very near to Airtel.

All standard class. Not so good, not so bad. The only negative point is that no staff come to the client to take order in garden restaurant. I called them twice and then they say, "plz wait". But, never come back. I gave up to order and back to the room and order room service. (this reaction is very quick) Basically the staff, especially restaurant staff does not know how to care the guest and no smile…

Sound proof windows please in the rooms. I couldn't sleep on my first night because of some club music out in the town. Otherwise very nice hospitality and that guy who plays the piano at the lobby thumbs up.

I've worked here before and before you shout "bias" on me, you should know that i'm no longer working there and I was just an intern there. While I worked there, a customer was a king, no wonder that place grew so huge in just a few years. By the time I left, 2 buildings were springing up. I'm going to review it as someone who was always in the back stage behind the scenes of what you see as a customer. Back stage, we as workers are told the customer is the single most important aspect of the business, so we are always running up and down to give customers the best services and ensure they enjoy their stay. I liked this place a lot and I was inspired to build a place better than it because of the way business is done there.

Its a place to be, every thing is perfect.

Hotel Africana z a gud hotel tho its a moslem oriented place.

I go there so many times for workshops, partying and Rotary meetings. Each time I go there, I just feel so comfortable as if at my home! I like it so much! Its ambience and good attendants make it a place to be.
