Dianwill Hotel

I stayed at this Apartment this December 2023 for my vacation in Uganda. I got to know about it through my mom. Honestly I had a terrible experience regarding a lot of different things. First the price was close to $1000 for the a 22 day stay. The place barely had water. The TV screens are the smallest you will ever find. The ladies who work at the front make false promises about changing linens and talking to their plumber. The toilet system they have is the oldest and most annoying because once you flush, you have to wait for 20 mins for the toilet tank to refill. The rooms have space in them if you want space. But the whole house constantly had a weird smell which bothered us. They give you one pan for cooking. They don’t have an oven, the bathrooms don’t have a water outlet. I wish I had good things to say about the place but I don’t and I wouldn’t never stay here again.

We came for the pool only and it started out okay. We could buy drinks at the reception so we didn't have to wait. We were the only guests at the pool. So we sit and relax and decide we would like some plain chips. So we order. Meanwhile the "DJ" starts to play music and it's very loud which was okay for the first 30 minutes but since we were not able to speak to one another I ask him politely if it can be turned down a bit. And so he does. For 5 minutes. Then it's full blast again. We were the only guests at the pool so it seemed weird why the music needed to be so loud. Anyway, after another 30 minutes we ask again for the chips since it's now more than an hour from our order. We finally get the chips and we try to have a conversation but the music is just. So. Loud. My wife goes to ask him once more to pleas turn it down a bit. And he's does. For 5 minutes. And this time, instead of turning it to full blast again he does what every popular DJ would do. He turns it up and down and up and down off beat so now it's not constantly loud but really annoying to listen to. He does this while giving me the dead eye when I look over. Mind you, we were the only guests at the pool. We sit through it while we eat our chips with no salt and no ketchup, but instead we get tomato sauce. Yuk. We finish our drinks and decide to go back home. While packing we have to almost scream to each other to communicate. I mean, what is this? Are they not providing service and customer care?

I found this place on line and liked What I Saw and looked like a good deal.
From My experience Staff here don't honor online bookings and try to get You to upgrade to a more expensive package.
On my second visit I was upgraded to the family suite I booked online which I was initially told wasn't available.
The bed wasn't comfortable in the master bedroom.
I did get served a jug of hot water instead of Black tea even after pointing on this mistake I never got what I asked for and in the end wanted me to pay for room service charge and black tea that I never got (pictured below).
By the way there helpful gym instructor if You are into that.
