Arcadia Suites - Kampala

I hosted Coffee and Jokes comedy show at Arcadia and all performers liked the professional treatment, starting with the availability of a professional green room (sound proof, screen, Wi-Fi, AC and close proximity to the stage hence easy monitoring) to separate performers from the audience. The drinks were also affordable and easy to purchase by the performers.

We stayed at Arcadia Suites Kampala in May 2025 and were left extremely disappointed by the service and attitude of the staff.
Our booking included bed and breakfast, but we were charged separately for tea and coffee during breakfast – something we were never told would be extra. My father simply signed the room number, and we only found out about the charge at checkout. When we questioned it, the manager Isaac Otim offered no solution, and the restaurant manager just kept repeating “it’s in the system. ” Despite our efforts to explain, we were dismissed and forced to pay 175, 000 UGX just to leave in peace.
When I pushed further, Isaac literally hung up the phone on me. Absolutely unprofessional behaviour.
On top of that:
A cleaner left used gloves on my open suitcase – completely unacceptable and unhygienic.
We were later accused of taking a towel that was never there.
Ronald at reception was no help and kept saying he couldn’t do anything.
We even met another guest at reception who was also upset – clearly this isn’t a one-off.
The rooms are fine, but the attitude, lack of accountability, and poor hygiene made this a really frustrating and stressful experience. We won't be returning.
Not recommended.

The receptionist was very rude and was asking for a 40% extra than showing in online rate.
This place is very expensive compared to other nearby hotels better than this…

First time in Uganda and first time on the content. Great start with this awsome hotel. Well centralized location. The service was great. The food and the breakfast was awsome.
Also a big perk of being able to book using Delta miles. Everything worked simply awsome.

My stay at Arcadia Suites in Kampala for a total about a week and a half was excellent. Very friendly staff, rooms were comfy, well equipped and very clean, nice gym with a view, excellent restaurant on the rooftop with outstanding included breakfasts. The message communication did not work but I always got a response emailing them. Airport shuttle was competitively priced, extremely clean and no issues.

Nice, small business hotel in Kampala near the Uganda National Museum. Connected to Kira road. Large suites, well furnished.

A great business hotel, spacious suites with separate bedroom not your run of the mill hotel room, great for long stays and reasonably priced, great food and personable staff that will attend to your every need.

The hotel is just lavishly breathtaking from the moment you step in it. The view of every single detail is just perfect.

This is a very luxurious hotel with nice rooms, the service from its employees is very good and I would truly recommend it to a person who would like to have good time and relax 🤩

Convenient yet quietly located on a main road. All the basics right. Feels like an aparthotel due to the suite rooms. Well priced. Ideal for the business traveller.

Really good value junior suites. The gym is okay, if lacking in equipment. The breakfast is excellent, the coffee is decent and the staff are efficient. You can get to malls, shops and restaurants very easily.

I had a wonderful time for each visit I made. The drinks are cold, service is commendable and the food is how the Italians say "perfetto".
