Pros:
— Waitresses were very helpful and kind.
— Room was spacious and clean (ish)
— Has a pool.
Cons:
— Pool pump, when used, was only used once in the morning, meaning that by the afternoon the pool water was murky.
— Breakfast was mediocre at best. When you can get sausages they're 2-3 days old and cold.
— Owners live on premise and claim various guest areas.
— Hot water wasn't working one morning, had to have a very cold shower.
— Towels and toilet paper are not changed/replaced unless you specifically ask.
— Bottled drinking water is not provided unless you specifically ask.
— Beer is not cold as the fridge is frequently turned off.
— DO NOT have dinner here, overpriced and not good.

If you’re looking for a place to stay while you’re in Jinja!. Look no farther. This place is a amazing, quiet, clean. The greener compound. And the staffs are really nice 😊 and so welcoming. We enjoyed our stay and all the fun places are very close by 15-20minz drive from the hotel. Thank Afro Smile 😊

Great hotel for tourists. Amazing showers and rooms are super cozy. About $60 USD for a 2 person bedroom. You can bring pets but they have to be kept outside overnight (they have an outdoor kennel if needed). Kind staff and the location is amazing in a safe area. Very peaceful with no surrounding noise.

Our stay at Afro Smile was memorable to us coz we really enjoyed the place especially the green compound around, the good breakfast the always gave to us, the creativity applied in designing of the rooms making it fancy in there for us. We went swimming the pool is around for u to spend time around, the food was good as well, sanitation is fine too and the location of the place was a credit for them ie there is easy access to Jinja town so movement is safe anytime you feel like😊. Security was always tight for security guys were always at the gate whenever we passed by regardless of the time. Its a good spot to spend days when you visit Jinja coz through here there is easy access to other tourist attractions like the source of the Nile which is so close 2000 Ugandan shillings to reach it, Bungee jumping is nearby too, Busowoko falls and Itanda falls are easily accessible as well. Visit them you wont regret.

They were very helpful in getting the room even though I made last-minute booking and pretty much very late into the next day. Shakil was very much available and helpful. Diana at the front desk was a miracle worker, making sure I checked in even though very late for the checkin as she waited the whole period, making sure the channels of communication were open all through.
Shakil kept on the phone and always helpful checking on my status and any help I would need the entire period I spent at this place. Well done, the team and entire crew. The meals and breakfast were on time and to my taste and request.

Afro smile made my trip a success, the stuff are very kind and respectful, the place is very clean and very quiet. Most of the fun activities are just a few minutes drive from the hotel and we felt save for the nights we stayed there. It's indeed a home away from home. Thank you stuff and management.

It is a beautiful place and a peaceful accommodation for a good price with very friendly and helpful staff. Also the fabulous manager is always working on making every wish come true. The style of the rooms is unique with a good eye for details. The pictures are telling the truth about how beautiful this place is. I enjoyed the pool, it is kept clean and has just the right size for swimming. We were happy to stay there, and we will definitely come back.
