Their services are good, their swimming pool, security is so close at the door.

This hotel is so welcoming, the staff are friendly and always at your service. The rooms are clean and Cosy, beautiful gardens, their food is so tasty, my daughter and I loved the steak! To me it feels so homely and yet on vacation. So far my best in Fort Portal and will always go back.

We stayed at Fort Motel for 2 nights over the weekend and what we got from the whole experience was that this facility was a perfect haven. From customer service to the food, grounds and their impressive rooms… everything had its attention to detail. My room had more than other hotels I've stayed at in Uganda starting with a kettle, small fridge, a microwave, a television with several channels, a safe, and a view of their garden and mountains at a distance. The welcoming r…estaurant is so bright and full of lively colors. Everything was clean and sophisticated The hotel has a steam room which was so very nice to relax in. It also has a sauna, a nice swimming pool, a gym, and the bar has a pool table. If you have kids, they even have a full playground at the far end of the property past the water fountain sculpture. Staff in both reception and the restaurant were so very pleasant and always with a smile on their face… we were impressed and completely comfortable. Everything at Fort Motel was simple classy and top-notch service. And let's talk about food… the breakfast was far from continental. It was pretty much a full board breakfast. The waitress takes your order of eggs, toast, meat options (like bacon or sausages), potatoes, etc. To include what's already displayed while you wait for hot dish.
The soup, oh the soup :), the lunch and dinner were all very yummy… presentation again, very classy and plentiful. Everything was handled in a very timely manner.

Fort Motel is a hidden serene gem on the hills of fort portal, if you are looking for some thing coxy, neat and yet afordable then look no further.

It is a fairly good motel but the costs do not match the services. The price is higher than the services offered.

Spent 2 nights there on a business trip. Great rooms… loved the colours. Clean rooms, friendly polite staff. Will be back.

One of Fort Portal trendy hotel accommodation. Fabulous staff, comfy beds and warm shower. You need to book in advance and the hotel has 2 wings — the standard wing and deluxe (new) wings.

Homely and accomodating. Staff were quite friendly. My expectations were met, I got favours too, the particular type of room I wanted was booked, but Management improvised to meet my need. My definite place of stay the next time I am in Fort Portal.

It's not only the ambience and the location which makes this place awesome but it's the staff here. I loved the whole one week stay here. They were quite excellent in their service. From the house keeping staff to their Manager, all talks very amicably. Hot pan cakes with maple syrup was my favorite breakfast and the restaurant near to pool has got an added advantage. No matter what, this one will be the first one I'll recommend among hotels in Fort Portal.

Best Boutique Hotel offering Comfortable Accommodation in Fort Portal town. Located in the quiet location in the Booma Area next to the Tooro Club and Fort Portal Golf Club, this hotel is recommended for business and those travelling for business and leisure. Accommodation include suites, double room and single room. Want to get a nice view of the Ruwenzori Mountains, stay at the new wing or the main house. Ask for room situated on the upper floor. Booking in advance is necessary as some guests book long-stays. Swimming in the pool, sauna and steam bath also available at the hotel. Support local communities by buying local crafts displayed in the curio shop as the hotel sources these from communities around Fort Portal. Don't miss traditionally designed baskets, popular with the area. Local excursions also available.

Stayed for one week in November 2015. It is situated in a convenient quiet location not far from the town centre. We occupied a comfortable ensuite room with balcony looking towards the Rwenzori Mountains. Good menu, attentive and helpful staff. We would certainly stay there again.
