Brilliant hotel, great value for money, incredibly friendly staff. Very COVID safe. Would highly recommend.

Came to Ilkley for the literature festival and got caught in the rain. Found the dalesway pub for lunch and delicious nut roast and hot cuppa tea. The bar man was extremely helpful with locating for me the venue for the talk I was attending and went above and beyond. I will be back. Thank you.

Fab weekend! Great staff, great service. Comfortable room. Placed in the centre of everything is an ideal base for sight seen, shopping, drinking. Great breakfast! Will be back!

Unbelievably friendly service and lovely Yorkshire food at reasonable prices. Ilkley is expensive and some eateries just go overboard on the prices. I had delicious pie of the day with mash and veg for under a tenner. Spot on! Going back for 70s scampi in a basket — oh yes!

Always struggle for a veggie Sunday lunch. Their nut roast is spot on. Next time we visit Ilkley we’ll be back.

Absolutely fantastic birthday weekend, the hotel is amazing stayed in the penthouse out of the world.
Breakfast was outstanding and so was the evening meal I had the perfect fish and chips, best I've had.
All staff especially Matty made us feel so welcome and my furbabies he is such an asset to the hotel and bar.
Would highly recommend to anyone staying in ilkley.

Grand place to stop, had a surprise night away for our anniversary, the bar staff on the Saturday night were great and up for a laugh and the following morning too, we felt very welcome,
The room was a good size and really clean, and the bed was huge and comfy (really appreciated the tea making stuff Sunday morning too. )
Breakfast was great and only a extra £5 on top well worth it.

Came here twice for lunch. The food is absolutely beautiful, one of the best meals I've had in a while. Everything is homemade and really delicious! Prices are fantastic and well worth the food. Fabulous selection of vegetarian meals. Service was outstanding. Will definitely be returning!

A most gorgeous little pub with really lovely staff, a warm and inviting atmosphere and comfortable and lovely rooms. Most fabulously inviting for dog families.

Doesn't look much from the outside but the customer service and food is spot on! Ignore the fancy places and go here for good grub and a friendly setting :)

Great food and lovely service. My friend and I came to The Dalesway for lunch, I had scampi and chips with mushy peas and tartar sauce. Simple food that really hit the spot, and they know how to pour a decent pint. Their table service was super friendly and I would definitely go again.

Had a nice early evening drink before going elsewhere for dinner. The pub played music that I liked at a suitable volume. The crowd is generally 40+. The wine was reasonably priced but could have done with being a little bit colder.

Location great, rooms clean but basic, friendly staff. Would recommend.

Whether it's the sunday carvery or off the varied menu this is the best grub ever the staff are most helpful well worth a visit.

We had a really wonderful stay here.
The staff are very nice, the rooms we stayed in simple but very large and a great value for the price.
The breakfast was delicious as well!
Our only regret is that we never stayed for lunch to try the Yorkshire puddings! Travelling with two young children we found a lot to do in Ilkley and the neighbouring towns. I would highly recommend stopping here for a few days.

I paid 85 pounds for the most dirtiest room I have ever seen in an hotel thier was hair on the bed sheets tobacco dregs in the draws the carpet looked as if it hadnt been hoovered in months thier was dust on every item I touched and the hall way leading downstairs all the pictures were covered in dust, which makes me think that if the upstairs is in this condition what about the kitchens I paid for breakfast but couldnt eat it seeing all this it put me off eating in this establishment. Me and my wife paid good money up front for the privalidge of stopping at a pig sty cheers for that! I took a video and would love for you to air it on your site just to let other unsuspecting people succumb see what they are actually getting for thier money.

Best of luck getting any sleep or basic rest here. The bar was thumping until 1am, when the place was meant to close, but they just turned the music off — that's it. It was well gone 2am when the loud bar chat wound down and the locals went home. Be a late license pub OR a hotel. The 2 things contridict each other in a pretty obvious way! The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. Hence the extra star.

Have been using Dalesway for picture framing of various shapes and sizes for around 10 yrs now and am very pleased with the quality of framing and level of customer servicer.

The first thing to greet you on the stairs is the strong smell of dog and a large black dog sure enough lives, on the first landing! alternative arrangements to make, how they begin at 09:30 breakfast we found very good alternatives for each of the 5 days we stayed serve. Brilliant seats in Ilkley food are the same for dinner there, but this is not one of them. The room we had was dirty and weak (40 watt) illuminated, so in the room (read or write) work was also impossible, there was no table top use. Builds the Cabinet under the eaves of Attic rooms we had, and it can without bending very low and hit your head on the roof, or use. The beds have seen better times; the cushions are their sales in addition to date. The blankets on the bed are small and very easy (cheap) and fall off at the slightest movement. The bathroom was a refurb for a very long black mold in the shower and washbasin and a shower, which is disappointing.
