A little gem.
Just back from a get together here at the weekend.
Room very nicely furnished and en-suite. Also the guest rooms are two floors up from the bar so any disturbance from downstairs is minimal. The prices for rooms, breakfast and carvery all extremely good value and the food delicious.
The owners and their dog, Bella, are all lovely, helpful and hospitable. Considering there were nine of us making a LOT of noise in the bar all weekend, we found the locals very fri…endly, chatty and tolerant. Surprised to read that the last reviewer felt it was a 'locals only' atmosphere.
Would recommend anyone visiting the area to book here. Thanks. Malcolm and Denise, Moray.

Great breakfast. A little shabby as the walls could do a bit of a dusting and a coat of paint.

Bit of a 'locals only' pub, but nice enough. Wasn't really there long enough to get a full feel for the place.

Excellent small hotel with the personal touch. Steve aand Leslie are great hosts and the locals are all very friendly. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the beer is well looked after. Definitely recommend staying here.

Hi everyone, just too let you know the Victoria is now under new management. We are excited to take this new venture on as we have 27 years exsperience and knouledge too put into this exciting fun very welcoming and warm friendly village pub. yes their has been alot speculation about the hotels future but now as it stands we are here to stay and things can only get better. Everyone is welcome we are currently revamping the kitchen and we will be serving warm home cooked food we have pool on mondays, wednesday we have our quiz that is getting better and better as the weeks go by everyone is welcome sky sports in HD again everyone is welcome yours sincerly the landlady and landlord of the victoria hotel we hope too see you soon.

Welcoming clean and tidy with 3 well kept cask ales-Tetleys-Saltaire Blonde-Doom Bar.

Rather outdated decor but that doesn't detract from the overall ambiance.

Friendly welcoming local. Landlord smells a little though ;)
