Took us quite along while to get booked in (they were low on staff and very busy at the time). The amenities were good and the beds were comfortable. However I will say that depending o the side of the hotel you're on, I believe there is a nightclub of some sort and can be quite noisy.

Nice clean rooms and the price is just right. Very close to shops and traveling such as buses, trams ect. The staff were so friendly also.

Very friendly stuff, good accomodations, nice breakfast. Some problems with the appliances like the a/c. Tried to turn it on in the evening, as the room was very hot, it didn't turn on. Suddenly in the night it was turned on to 19°C which was nice at first but after a while it was just freezing, but could not be turned off. : ( Everything else was good. Comfy beds and clean rooms.

The hotel's location in the commercial area of the city takes just 3 minutes of walking to reach the most important places. The rooms (in my case a room for two) are the right size, innovative usb wall sockets to charge phones without having to use an adapter.

Went on a Saturday with a group of friends got changed and went out and later on found out they had been in our rooms while we were out. They also came knocking on the door about 11 o'clock when we got back saying they had a noise complaints but two minutes later said they didnt and were basically lying to check on us. A little disappointed because I stay in premier inns alot and recommend this to my friends which was a mistake.

Good location within city centre. Comfortable rooms. Spacious restaurant and bar on 1st floor.

Lovely new build hotel with modern rooms: things like a USB port by both sides of that bed, a hairdryer in the room and plenty of plugs made the stay so much more pleasant. Sadly, we couldn't get the free Wi-Fi in our 3rd floor room, though it was fine in restaurant/reception. Restaurant looks cool and a decent menu. We got a mezze style platter to share and it was all pretty good, tasty and fresh, not bland and/or burned like some hotel kitchens. Very pleasant+friendly staff too.

Good location, 5 min walk to city centre. Clean good value for money rooms.

It was an awesome place to spend 120mins of my life. The place itself. Loved lighting and also the view of the city was pleasure.

Fantastic stay at this hotel on the 12/04/2018, was in Sheffield for darts at the arena. The hotel is 30 second walk to tram. This then took 10 minutes to the arena. The hotel is 10 min walk to bars on west st. Great location. I paid £29 for a double room on Thursday night. I stayed in room 411 which is high, and at back, very quiet room. Black out curtains, great size with extremely comfortable double bed, sofa, 40 tv, great size bathroom. Such a good hotel for the price. The staff were all very welcoming, lovely Liverpulian lady on reception who we had a good laugh and joke with, 100 percent would stay again.

Good value for money and good nights sleep with quality air conditioning to get the room to the temperature you desire. Although poor internet service and mine was keep disconecting and have never had this problem in other Premier inns. Restaurant in there was decent and had a pizza. One complaint is that the knives were very blunt and was a nightmare trying to cut it. All in all good value for money for a 1 night stay.

A typical Premier Inn, good quality rooms and beds but basic. Staff are friendly and welcoming. Prices are competitive for the city centre. The location is very close to the city centre and the main shopping street. However, the hotel is on the edge of a down-at-heel area and may be less than savoury after dark.

Not exactly city centre as on the very edge in a bit of a run down area. Room was typical Premier Inn and good apart from the limited drink options, 2 coffee sachets only. Good bar with excellent selection of ales.

Visited for work. Lovely basic hotel at the centre of the city. Found staff at reception really good at what they do and extremely polite. The room was basic, but clean and functional and I enjoyed 2 nights of good sleep, which almost never happens for me when sleeping away from home. The breakfast was really good, to the point of skipping lunch as I had overeaten on both mornings. Highly recommend for a short or long stay.

Lovely room and service. They didn't bring the dessert that we ordered from the initial order. The taps in the bath were hard to turn and control the temp. But it's still great once we got things working. Aside from that this visit has been good and I would still come again.

Great location for central Sheffield and a team stop near by. Check in was slow and took 10mins to get a second person to assist. Rooms were as you expect, nice size comfy bed. Disappointing that housekeeping missed lots of hair on the bath/shower wall. Also only left one set of towels when cleaned the room. Breakfast was good lots of seating not to busy. Can get discounted car parking at the NCP car park very close to the hotel.

Decently priced hotel which is worth its money. The room is quite luxurious for its price range. As for location, its nearby Sheffield city center which is conivenent. Tram, Train and Bus station is accessible by foot. Staffs are friendly and supportive. However, on the the downside free Wi-Fi is quite slow and disconnect often but still workable. In addition, there is no mini fridge supplied in the room. Despite some negative aspect, this hotel is worth for its price given its location and overall experience.

Room was nice and clean and bed was comfortable. Soap and shower gel were not great but okay for the 1 night. Continental breakfast was okay but some cheese and meat would been nice and it would've been handy if there was a microwave to warm up the pancakes. All the staff were very helpful and friendly, I would be happy to stay there again.

Rooms were very nice clean, and exactly what you want from a premier inn. The hotel was havng the concourse renovated so looked a bit scruffy on arrival. Overall a good stay.

Great central location with easy access to parking (at reduced price) and public transport. Rooms are clean with complimentary toiletries and tea and coffee facilities. Got a good night's sleep and didn't hear any other guests. Would stay again.

I arrived and was quickly attended 2 asking for room availability. I got 1 boom. Just round the corner from we're in training. So brilliant for position. Some building works and a broken lift. Eh things have to be done and things break. My room was lovely nice and clean fantastic. Shower disappointing not enough hot water pressure so it was either red hot or freezing so strip wash required. Np. I spoke to gent bout my heating as it was cold he soon remedied that but bout midnight it was off! anyway came to iron my shirt not checking the plate temp not hot me best shirt like. Grrrt put iron to shirt black stuff off the iron stuck to me shirt… back to yesterday's not good. Mentioned these few things to reception not as a complaint but maybe the iron should be clean etc. But thus female wasn't remotely interested giving me the feeling it was brushed aside. I wonder if the next customers are as easy going as me. Was just let down a bit at the end.

The catering staff where really accommodating, we hadn't got food for our conference and due to the mix up they gave us some spare lunch which was nice. The hotel was nice but we had some complications with the keys and it became an issue. I'm sure if I was a sleeping over guest it wouldn't have been as bad.

The rooms are newly refurbished and fantastic. The only issue I had this time was I was given the wrong meal to what I ordered, and when I asked for it changed they said they didn't have any left. They did however say I can have anything else from the menu free of charge. This is the second time I've stayed here and they have both been pleasant visits.

Really nice room. Plenty of space. Bed was really comfy. Plenty of extra pillows. Very clean. Breakfast was great in the morning. Only downside is you have to park in an NCP carpark which carries a cost. It is discounted by the hotel (£9.50 per 24 hour), so make sure you add it to the price of your room when looking at the price.

Stayed over for one night. The room was very clean and spacious. The staff were very approachable and helpful. Multi storey car park was just around the corner and at a discounted price for staying at Premier Inn. Breakfast was lovely, good value for money and perfect if you have children, lots to choose from and you can go back for more as much as you like! Would definitely stay again.

A nice hotel. Very nice staff, great location, lovely rooms. At times other guests were overly noisy but other than that, a very nice hotel.

Very comfortable room with a king size bed like any Premier Inn. Really central, close to the Casino high street. The curry was good, not great, the brownie not good at all, not worth the calories. Couldn't get the Wi-Fi to work on my phone as my android was flagging a security breach, but it could be my phone.

Perfectly adequate — parking in NCP means too far to take bags so we had to decent and choose what we needed. In heart of town but would be helpful if was some info to tell you what was where. Rooms like all Premier Inns smell of strong cleaning fluid.

Great place to stay within the heart of the city close to all the amenities. Staff go out their way to make you feel welcome. Rooms very clean and tidy and beds very comfortable. Great breakfast with plenty of choices and all at an affordable price.

Great location and spacious room and bathroom. Breakfast is okay. Bring earplugs if you're a light sleeper, because walls/doors/ceilings are not very well soundproofed (I was woken up by someone doing exercise at 6.20am). Bring your own soap and shampoo, as the one provided smells like bleach and dries out your skin a lot. I shudder to think about using the shower gel/shampoo on your hair. Bed is very comfy. In short, a mixed bag.

The second visit to this venue. The new manager remembered me from 1yr ago by name. Room was comfy and clean but I could not Alter the heating but the window did open so no real problem. Restaurant was very very busy on Friday pm Saturday am and again on the evening due to events in the city. On Sunday night it was quieter. Staff we rushed of there feet when it was busy but they somehow kept cheerful. Hope to return again next year. Would recommend this hotel for a short city break.

This was my first stay in a Premier Inn hotel and I am very impressed — all the hotel staff were friendly and proffesional — the room was spotless and adequate for the price you pay We decided to eat in hotel restaurant in the evening and the food was fabulous and our waitor Connor was exeptional. 10/10

The city centre location is the primary appeal here. That said, in regards to the rooms and general housekeeping… I've seen much worse. Good value.

I have just spent 11 days working in sheffield and I stayed at this hotel, I found it clean, warm and comfertable as with most of the premer inns I have stayed in. The staff were polite and very jolly, especially Diane at breakfast and Demi and Hannah in the restaurant in the evenings. I have to return to sheffield soon and I look forward to staying there again.

Room was freshly done up and very clean. Was a quiet Friday night and breakfast was very nice. Staff were lovely would definitely recommend.

Super nice hotel in a convenient location near the city center. The first room had some issues and we were immediately given a new room. Very nice people.

Quiet for city centre. Basic but comfortable and good value. Car park a short walk from hotel, not ideal but not too inconvenient.

Set in the centre of Sheffield this premier inn is ideal for the day or many night guest. Rooms are spacious and well equipped as well as comfortable.

Should have minus star options Upon booking not told they had refurbishment on going… upon checking in not told — only small sign we saw was blocked on the way in which saw on our disappointing exit after checking out Only advised when decided to complain about the loud banging and screaching noises coming from the floor above — then they decide to tell you! no relaxing lie in! and this was constant and to say we picked the hotel due to location and late midday check out this was ruined and was out by 10.30. Staff in a world of their own and not caring about the quests experience or stay with them. Fuming is an understatement. Simple things like moving people away from the refurbish areas i. E take into consideration floors below and move away form noise — our floor stated quiet zone … what a joke!

Good location in the city, with only a 10 minute walk from the train station or bus station. The nearest car park is about 5 minutes away, and they validate your parking (saving you around £5 when parking overnight). Helpful staff, with a decent breakfast buffet.

A mix up at first check-in (the first room we were assigned was already occupied by an unconscious man and an empty bottle of vodka) but it was handled well and it was otherwise a generally good stay. Our room was on the first floor above a main road, so we were worried it might be noisy, but we could barely hear the outside world. It's nearly in the very centre if the city already, do you can walk to the shops in 5 minutes. However, it's also just a couple of minutes walk from a tram stop which all 3 tram lines pass through, as well as bus routes. So getting further afield isn't an issue. Parking is in the NCP car park just behind the hotel. The hotel offer a discounted rate of £9/night if you take your pay chip to reception at check out.

Good location, good bedding. Room was a bit cold when I checked in, but it did the job. Make sure you get in to the breakfast early, or there won't be anything left to eat and you'll be paying full price for half the items like I did.

Stayed 2 nights with my sons 7+8. Ideal central location. Really friendly and helpful staff would definitely stay again.

After a hard day visiting and working in Sheffield it was lovely to rest in a cosy, comfy and clean room to have a good sleep. Service is friendly and helpful. I will recommend it to my friends without hesitation.

I spent 1 night there and it was the worst nights sleep I have ever had what it does not say on there website is that there is building work going on in there and scaffolding in the lift that made so much noise when in use very poor and will not stop there again.

I stayed for one night Saturday 20th April 2013 — The quality/facilities were what I expected from a Premier Inn. However the service given by the staff on duty both the Saturday/Sunday was excellent. Front of house staff / bar staff / restaurant staff all were polite, professional and friendly. Special mention to the guy on the front desk who lent me his USB charger as I had forgotten mine. :) Will definately being staying there when I visit the city on my future visits both for business and pleasure.

If you want to eat at the premier inn book your table at 6 as you may get seated at 9, make sure you choice a cow in a field nearby so its easy for them to catch and cook. The sauces are obviously reused as we found lettece decoration in ours. Dont have a problem with the staff they were doing there best in a bad situation, it wasnt just our table that was having problems as many were getting wrong dishes and meal quailty wasnt up to standard! But it has provided us with an evenings entertainment! Carl who was the waiter for us (and everyone else) also acted as the chef, dish washer, table cleaner and was impressed with carls excellent services!. Just finished main and mums meal was freezing and was given back for a freah hot one 20minutes later it still hasnt arrived, not impressed! Chips tasted weird cant explain what it tasted like but aweful! End of the night they had the decency to waiver the bill. Roll on breakfast.
