I have returned here many times while working in the area or as a base for trips up and down to London, the new chefs are creating wondering dishes. The rooms are typically 3star, so good value for money. The bar staff are very friendly and down to earth people. I couldn't fault it on value for the price paid unlike others in the area.

Sorry but No. Was a long distance HGV driver for 24 years and been to and slept in some very varied places, the room was clean and functional but the bed was Absolutely Awfulllll. Get what you pay for and slept on the floor with the bed covers wrapped around me was by far the most comfortable option. Bathroom was okay but did not feel at all at ease with the room, should have looked a bit further and paid more, must admit I looked around the car park on last morning there and was surprised at some top end motor's dotted around, they must have had the deluxe suite, …

Cheap yes. Clean afraid not. Any hotel that provides dirty stained sheets for an infant shows the lack of standards they have for the rest of their cleanliness! Don't get me started on the mould in the bathroom. Ants crawling all over the place including the head board of the bed. Staff uninterested when informed of this and say "it's summer what do you expect. " In all fairness we were offered breakfast in the morning to say sorry. If they think I'm letting my family eat in the restaurant when the room is that bad it's laughable. Save your money and use it for a taxi home!

The bathroom smells and is mouldy, the radiator is hanging off the wall, the carpet is rank but worst of all the provided cot looks like it has the potential to give my daughter cholera or something. I can't believe what you get for your money! I couldn't ask for anything more than what they offer other than a hair dryer. Everything was very clean. After getting back from a show the very friendly warming barman was just what we needed to finish off the night with a late drink… nothing has any trouble! 24hr service all for £

Surprisingly comfortable and clean with decent breakfast options & friendly staff made this budget hotel a bit of a bargain stay. Recommended.

Absolutely loved this hotel as a basic rate hotel. However our last stay resulted in us buying a bag of crisps which were 2 months out of date. After several emails and calls 15£ off next stay has been given. Previous to this although always quiet never been busy when we have been they had no steak for the mixed grill. When I complained about this the manager said you ate it so no refund no apology or anything. There was not another red meat option either. I have to have red meat as I am anemic.

Cheap and cheerful. Strange location but overall not bad. Room maintenance on my room wasnt too hot but the room my wife and 2 other kids were in was tip top. Staff were grand.

It was a great value for money! And i’d say the room was more family friendly than usual budget hotels.

Spent two nights here while over for a family funeral can say yes the hotel maybe needing a refit and update but for the money the hotel was extremely clean and well equipped fresh clean towels and bedding, clean kettle and cups you can park your car outside your room with the motel feel of the place. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful and carnt do enough for you if your looking for a budget hotel then carnt go wrong. Would stay again many thanks.

For the price I would recommend this lodge. Comfortable bed, toilet, shower, bath, kettle, coffee, tea all you would need. Your own door to the outside. Food was nice and a good price too.

Getting there was a bit Awkward. Even though theres signs about. (Google doesn't know Lowton way yet. ) Check in was simple and straightforward. The room was clean AND WARM. Lighting is soft and low. Shower is hot and brisk. Can't comment on food because I only wanted a room. I slept the 2 nights very well, the bed was clean and firm. If you want a simple room, simple facilities, no great frills. Comfortable large bed. AND BOOKED LAST MINUTE (which is what swung me), then "this is your man" so to speak. I liked it.

Been here 3 times now & will return. Food & service fabulous.

Didn't have a car so quite expensive on taxi fares. On an industrial estate so not much around but comfortable basic accommodation and fantastic breakfast so all a travelling person needs.

Great place to rest your head for the night. Bed was comfortable too. Staff in the restaurant were friendly and welcoming, food was great and prices are good too.

Unfortunately not too good If you are used to Travellodge or Premier Inn this will be a shock to you But if you consider a hotel as just a bed and bathroom then it's fine considering the price The reception is in a separate building and the hotel part is reminiscent of a 70's american motel All the rooms are just small squares with just enough room for a bed with the bathroom at the rear and the whole hotel is just the 'blocks' next to eachother It also means you park right outside your room The bed and bathroom are clean but the whole room smells musty and old The decor, furniture and fittings are all from the 70's but not the good bit however as mentioned everything is clean and functional The bed is not too bad and the shower works well For the price you can't complain.

HORRIFIC… Doesn't deserve 1star but couldn't warn unless chose a star… Didn"t stay and they wouldn't refund 2 mins after taking payment once we saw room. DON'T COME HERE, you"d be better in your car.
