Our first visit and highly recommended 👌. The location was ideal with plenty of facilities around in the village and complimentary refreshments with coffee, tea, sugar, fresh milk and biscuits plus body wash each. Beds and towels high quality and we all slept great… our only complaint was my snoring husband 😴😒… no road noise either and a sun trap outside which is great to grab the first drink of the day or into the evening. Loved the sheep in the field next to the end accommodation. Bonus for us as we are disabled, especially as mine is an invisible one and not obvious and my stay kept it hidden 😉 so I wasn't self conscious and I was having a well spell too helped. Disability wise, completely level access, high, room to walk with crutches but not wheelchair friendly inside. Parking available right outside so if I had needed to bring my electric wheelchair I could have charged it easily and store it safely outside or in the car. Shower room was a double with easy sliding door and room for a small shower stool but I managed without. Lovely hot water from the shower and on a thermostat as I have little feeling for heat on my skin being too hot. Toilet height OK too but I wouldn't have been able to fix my seat riser on it but for a few days it didn't bother me as rarely used it being out and about. Kitchenette was adequate and we cooked both nights. Theres a small freezer for ice cubes and ice cream in the fridge and a toaster hidden under the sink. My only suggestion, and personal opinion would be to add a halogen oven/air fryer and an electric fan. We brought our own fan as I can't regulate my temperature and overheat quickly. We will certainly be revisiting soon and as our trial trip away. After shielding and being fully vaccinated we felt extremely safe here and both dogs loved it too. Thank you 😊
