Was there for an interview & the place wasn't open at the time. Sure it would be an ok place.

Just back from a 2 night break at Carlton house. My husband and I brought our 2 dogs with us and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The room had everything we needed, the location was perfect for walking down to the beach in the morning and then onto Scarborough seafront in the evening. Self check in was great. Quick, simple and easy! The breakfast was lovely and I was most pleasantly surprised and impressed that when I called to book our room and mentioned I love black pudding on my breakfast they had remembered and put some on for me both mornings we stayed. Parking was easy with the disc we got when we arrived. All in all a lovely little break and will definitely be booking again to come back and staying at this lovely place. Staff very friendly breakfast is fantastic room I stopped in I was a tad in happy with no wardrobe space not really a separate room for toilet which did smell a bit room 10 but overhaul I enjoyed it here and would recommend.

Good location, nice rooms and good breakfast!

Looks can deceive, the Cosy room is low end market. Bilyana was very nice and changed me to an upgraded room. Breakfast was really nice and there was enough.

Its our first time at this particular hotel but it certainly wont be our last. The staff were very friendly and extremley helpfull. The breakfast was outstanding and it was all local produce. Highly recommended but dont take my word for it check it out for yourselves.

Great place, good location in Scarborough, parking permit provided, very welcoming, clean rooms, fluffy towels. The dog treats were very much appreciated by my mutts and there's a little park across the road which was handy for the dogs late at night. Would highly recommend X.

We are in Scarborough regularly and the Hotel we usually stay in was fully booked this time.
We saw Carlton House online just by chance. Thought we'd give it a go, and so glad we did.
Very quiet and convenient for everything.
Nice and clean.
We had our little dog with us and the lady even left some treats for her.
Will definitely be staying again

Friendly, welcoming staff, room was very comfortable with nice beds and bed linen with a lovely view from our window, very quiet and had the best nights sleep ever! Carlton house is in a perfect location and within walking distance to South bay and the town centre. We enjoyed our stay very much and will definately stay again next time.
