What a lovely hotel!
Warm welcome from the host on arrival and on-site parking.
Excellent breakfast & spacious, comfortable room with complimentary toiletries plus fluffy bathrobes.
Covid precautions were spot on.
Nothing was too much trouble.
Will definitely return. 😊

Just returned from a weekend in an apartment in Elizabeth House.
Spotless, cosy, well equipped and the owners could not be more helpful or welcoming.
So close to beach and shops.

Just had a lovely four night stay at the Sandpiper. Even though we have stayed numerous times before we didn't know what to expect because of these unprecedented times but Peter and Manetta are the perfect hosts. Everything was as perfect as always and as spotless as always. Everything done in accordance with the social distancing rules. To anyone who's thinking of visiting Whitby choose the Sandpiper, ten out of ten. THANKYOU Peter and Manetta hoping to pay another visit shortly.

Just got home from spending a weekend at Sandpiper House. We have stayed in some amazing places Australia, America, Canaries, but we can honestly say this has been one of the cleanest accommodations we have come across. The hospitality of the owners was second to none, nothing was too much for them. We will certainly return if we come back to this area. Thank you so much. Diane & David x.

Love it here… favourite b&b in Whitby… close to everything… rooms are lovely and the food is always tasty but what makes it extra special are the hosts Peter & Manetta (warm, friendly & lovely) … they make it feel homely and that's why we love staying… see you next year.

We booked this hotel not knowing what to expect. We arrived and the owners were very welcoming. The room was spotless. The offer on the morning for breakfast was brilliant. Fruit, cereal and five different hotmeal options. I would greatly recommend this hotel. In fact we hope to go back again soon.

A lovely B&B peter and his wife are so welcoming we've stayed with them a few times now and they always remember us. The bedrooms are immaculate and Breakfast is excellent a little pricey but well worth it and only a few minutes walk into town so don't have alot noise around us. You can struggle to get booked in because they are often full but well worth the stay.

What a brilliant stay at sandpaper lovely room great sleep and fab breakfast. Nothing too much trouble would highly recommend if you stay in Whitby Jean and Billy.

Fantastic location. Really friendly, welcoming, knowledgeable hosts, beautiful room (we had a suite). Immaculately clean. Most comfy bed ever. Quiet, no traffic noise. I had a lovely deep bath (complementary bubble bath). Really yummy breakfast. Brilliant choice of hot and cold. We are going again in April with friends. Says it all.

I have stayed with Peter and Manetta on countless times over the past number of years. Their accommodation, welcome and service are second to none. I have no hesitation in giving 5 stars in this review.

Been a few times now and absolutely love it. Always made to feel very welcome. Homely place a few minutes walk from the centre and breakfast is unreal.
