We stayed in room 2 with jacuzzi bath which was massive, the room was decorated to a very high and modern standard, it was gorgeous, we went for my husband's 50th birthday the owner's Richard and natalie even left him a birthday card which was lovely the hotel was in a brilliant location 10 min walk from town centre, last but not least was the breakfast OMG it was the best breakfast we have ever had in a hotel the bacon was so thick it was nearly a gammon steak lol the sausage was amazing, there was mushrooms fried eggs beans and black pudding cereals fresh fruit and 3 different kinds of bread to choose from it was self serve aswell which was ideal Richard does an amazing job with the breakfasts and natalie is a brilliant host, will definitely be booking again and cannot recommend this hotel highly enough x carol &mark xxx.

Just back from a 4 night stay and what an amazing place.
made to feel very welcome.
We stayed in room 5, had amazing views overlooking the sea, room was spotless as was the rest of the place.
lovely buffet style cooked breakfast to set you up for the day.
Would definitely recommend staying here. 10/10 from me and will definitely return sometime.

What a great place to stay! Our 3 nights here was just perfect, lovely room and fantastic breakfast. Great location on the Royal Crescent and permit for parking outside was a bonus. It would have been nice to open the window more than a few inches but realise this is not possible because it's into the fire escape. This would not normally be a problem but we were here during the recent heatwave and in hindsight we should have asked for a fan. We highly recommend Crescent Garden House would love to return in the future. Good to book direct as we did.

Absolutely loved our stay, our room was beautiful and absolutely everywhere was very very clean tidy and well presented. The hosts went above and beyond if you needed anything and they made you feel very welcome and looked after. By far the cleanest nicest place we have stayed and we can’t wait to get back. Thank you for making our mini honeymoon the best xx.

Beautiful hotel. Got 3 days 2 nights here in the Jacuzzi room with a beautiful view of the sun going down.

We came to Whitby for our honeymoon and thoroughly enjoyed our stay which was made even better by Richard and Natalie who run a superb hotel. The rooms are modern and stylish, breakfast tasty with quality food and the hosts are friendly and welcoming. We will definitely be returning. Got to be one of the best hotels in Whitby.

Were do I start? Bed, 1st night no sleep as to uncomfortable. Asked proprietors if they could change mattress or at least put a mattress topper on, told they had put a mattress protector on? Had to go out and buy a duvet to see if it would help. Lower bedroom had a lovely view (not of the sea) off half a wall. When we enquired about using lift they have (from lower ground to 1st floor) was told that someone would have to go out through the front up ramp then up stairs to ring the bell. Only then would we be allowed to use lift (without standing), but they would supply a wheelchair. We where approached by owner and asked not to smoke in bedroom (neither my wife or I smoke). All in all it has rated the worst place we jave ever stayed at and cut our stay short (by 1 day) and returned home. Anyone who has any problems with mobility will struggle. Atmosphere was awful. No customer care what so ever.

Amazing place, lovely owners with amazing food too.

I found this place online by accident and I'm so pleased that I did. The view from our room was amazing looking out to sea The breakfast was delicious and our hosts Natalie and Richard couldn't do enough to help and make us feel welcome. We've already booked again for two more weekends in 2019. If you're staying in Whitby I can definitely recommend this gem of a Bed and Breakfast.

Just got back after a 2 night stay we had gone for myour birthday. We stayed in room 9 the suit with a Jacuzzi it was fab, (thanks you Richard helping me to get it to work would have helped if I had turned it on haha) the room was large with a living room and a bedroom and lovely sea views. The room was lovely and clean also a lovely touch biscuits chocolates and bottled water. The hosts Natalie and Richard were very helpful and friendly. Richard recommend a nice restaurant for that evening. Also the breakfast was lovely help your self. I like that better as you can have what you fancy and lots to choose from. I have stopped in a few places in Whitby but I would definitely recommend here to all my friends. Thanks Natalie and Richard for a lovely weekend.

Booked this hotel for my 50th birthday and I was not disappointed by the standard that greeted us. They were so pleasant. And even catered for gluten free. The breakfast was self service which was high quality ingredients And the shower products where of high quality penalgain non the less so happy happy.

Lovely, clean and contemporary. Owners really friendly and helpfull food excellent. Will definitely come again.

Been here 4 times now and love it every time.

Just returned from a 3night New year stay here upon arrival the host was very welcoming and carried our extra heavy case upto our room on the 2nd floor. The room on first impressions was nice clean&tidy and lovely sea view of Whitby. The only downside for us was the beds was quite hard and the room was very dark even with lighting on still seemed dark for when getting ready on an evening to go out into Whitby. The breakfast next morning was lovely all freshly prepared and again hosts very welcoming explaining what was what when it came to the breakfast in the morning. We are regular visitors to Whitby and stayed in various places all over Whitby this one is a lovely little place great location and wouldn’t let the minor points stated above stop us booking this place again. All in all 8/10.

Absolute gem of a hotel! The owners are so lovely and friendly, they make you feel completely at home and it was great to sit and have chats with them on a sunny afternoon with a reasonably priced beer from their bar. Even the neighbours were lovely to chat with.
The whole hotel itself not just our room was beautifully decorated and even the smallest of things were thought of. We had a sea view room and it was great to wake up to the view in the morning and the sunset view was amazing.
Breakfast was spot on, it does help that the owner used to be a professional chef so you know he chooses the best products to serve.
Do not let the high price deter you, when you think of the included breakfast, location and parking cost plus the top notch service from Richard and Natalie then you are getting a great deal. Book asap!

It's a lovely guesthouse at the top of the westcliff side of Whitby harbour. The owners are lovely and very helpful, and the room was spacious and well decorated. The bathroom was ok, it had high spec furnishings but was a little cramped. The breakfast was superb. English breakfast buffet but without the usual pools of grease that I've come to expect from buffets. Would stay here again if I returned to Whitby.
