We had a lovely three night stay as a family with a small child. Some lovely helpful touches in the family room such as a built in toddler toilet seat, very handy and also a fridge, great to keep food/drinks for the toddler, then also toddler cutlery at breakfast, excellent! Great room, very spacious, great sofa bed and gorgeous comfy bed. Great gadgets in the room such as a Chromecast, Google home, wireless charger and Tassimo machine which I have not had elsewhere. Breakfast AMAZING! The vegetarian breakfast was THE BEST I've had, halloumi, veggie sausage and bacon, fried bread, eggs, mushroom and beans — absolutely delightful! A well thought through alternative breakfast that isn't just a meaty breakfast without the meat! Honestly couldn't fault the place, wonderful attentive hosts, great service, lovely clean room and fantastic location with close proximity to the shops/beach. Lovely park across the road which is handy for entertaining toddlers! The hosts even gave my daughter a teddy upon our departure which was so thoughtful! Thank you so much for a wonderful stay!

Have just got back from a 2 night stay here and I cannot recommend it enough. We had our room upgraded and a box of chocolates left for us as it was a special weekend. These were lovely personal touches. Jo and Steve were friendly and welcoming. The room (room 3) was beautiful, Huge bed and incredibly comfy.
Thank you for a wonderful weekend and we will definitely be back.

Just arrived and really pleased with knots landing apartment.

Just got back after a lovely 2 night stay at perfect place. They even surprised me on my birthday (halloween) by bringing me a bottle of lovely chilled prosecco which really made my day. They were a lovely couple and couldnt do enough for us and the breakfast was 5*. Would highly recommend and can't wait to go back.

Sehr schöne Unterkunft mit sehr freundlichen Besitzern. Alles kinderfreundlich und das Frühstück wird liebevoll und reichhaltig zubereitet. Die Zimmer sind sauber, groß und es wird versucht die Auswirkung auf die Umwelt zu beachten. So steht etwa Leitungswasser statt Flaschenwasser bereit. Die Lage ist perfekt. Gegenüber der Park mit Museum und ca. 5 min zu Fuß zum Hafen.

I stayed here for the first time last month and absolutely loved everything about it, fabulous room, lovely owners and would highly recommend, so much so I came back and stayed this month :-)

We had a fantastic time the only thing that was disappointing was lack of parking.

We have just stayed for two nights which I won on the 10th anniversary competition it’s a family run business and they couldn’t have been more accommodating and helpful the room was amazing and the breakfast was delicious would highly recommend we will definitely be telling all our friends and family about it! A lovely three night stay was spent here. On arrival, the host couldn't have been any more helpful. As there is no parking at the property, we needed to park on nearby roads. Being uncertain of where they may be, the owner walked with my partner to his car. He then moved his own vehicle so my partner could park there, and transferred our luggage into his own car to bring it to the b and b. Hugely helpful and appreciated. Broomfield house is clean and well decorated. The room we were in was lovely, quite simply decorated, but all the better for it. White bed linen, wooden floors and a wooden bed go beautifully together. The bathroom we had was decorated in a quite Victorian style complete with a rolltop bath to relax in. We only chose to have breakfast on our last morning, as plans hadn't made it practical on the other days. It was delicious and we ended up being defeated by it. We couldn't manage it all. It was hot and fresh. We were still not hungry at 6pm that evening. We really enjoyed the stay, and were quite sad to leave. But we will be back. Sooner rather than later I hope.

Our second stay here and just as comfy and welcoming as our first.

We had a lovely 3 nights here at Easter. Our room was spotless, the breakfast was delicious and the owners were great, even giving our little lad an Easter egg. This b & b is a short walk to the centre of Whitby, ideal. Many thanks Sally Neil and Ralph.

Stay there twice a year for 3 night's each time for the GOTH WEEKEND at WHITBY for the past 5 years it our second home and the owners are very welcoming and friendly always help were they can. Breakfast is enough to set you up all day and all fresh made and sourced locally. A family run business who are always pleased to see us. Would recommend them every time.

Great guest house. Been there twice now with a group of 8 people.

Really spacious, nicely furnished and comfortable room. Great location being a couple of minutes slow walk to the harbour and the family that run the place are really nice. We'll definitely be staying here again next time we're in Whitby.

What a wonderful guest house! Brilliant location — only two minutes walk to the harbour — clean and tidy rooms, a breakfast to die for, and two excellent and charming hosts! Would definitely stay here again, and obviously, recommend Broomfield House to everyone!

Lovely place run by a lovely family.

Loved this small friendly hotel. Excellent locally sourced breakfast. 5 minute walk to Whitby. Superb wiew of local park. High quality rooms and great service.

Comfortable little house with cosy rooms. Good views of the park and excellent location within a 3min walk of the town centre. Best of all, the hosts are genuinely friendly and helpful.

Just got home from a lovely weekend in Whitby! Stayed for 2 nights at Broomfield House! Cannot recommend it enough… told all my family and friends about it! Room was beautiful and clean with all the extras you need including hair dryer, iron ans ironing board and mini fridge! You can come and go as you please and the staff are super friendly and always happy to help! Breakfast was amazing and great value for money with lots of choice! Will definately be returning soon!

Excellent location, food and service.

Excellent. GF to lol here for birthday. Free parking 5 mins up the hill. Clean spacious and really comfy. The hosts were the friendliest hosts ever had even had a little gift for me in room. Breakfast was fresh real local produce and amazing. I'm not bothering to look anywhere else on next visit to Whitby as this was perfect.

Spent a very enjoyable three days at Broomfield House with my Girlfriend. I had no idea what to expect as it was my girlfriend who booked it. I was very pleasantly surprised when we arrived. Checking was as simple as knocking on the door, being given keys and other instructions of which key goes where. We were then shown the breakfast room on the second floor and our room on the third floor. The room was plenty large enough, very clean and warm. Included was a mini fridge, iron + ironing board, hair dryer, alarm clock, TV with Free view and DVD player and a kettle with enough tea and coffee to outlast your stay. The en-suite shower room was also super, sporting a walk in shower with rain head and a modern square sink bowl. Everything in here was spotless. The room turndown service did a great job, always leaving the room in immaculate condition. Breakfast is served daily between 0830 and 0930. If you have a room facing the back of the B&B, then you will be woken to a lovely smell of cooking rising up from the kitchen in the mornings. The breakfast included fruit juices and tea/coffee, cereal, yogurts, and your choice of either a Full English or a Vegetarian Full English. We opted for the vegetarian options on two mornings and the regular on the other. Both options were very tasty. It is worth mentioning that you must pre-order your vegetarian option the night before.
