Excellent and friendly B&B. We've been coming here for nearly 10 years. I love this place. The breakfast is fantastic — especially the poached eggs, homemade bread and black pudding. Beds super comfy and I love the showers.

Thank you Mike & Amanda for a perfect week in Pickering! This is how all B&Bs should be, a beautifully kept home with spacious and well-appointed en suite guest rooms. And the fantastic breakfasts — using as much local produce as possible — put many a more expensive hotel to shame. But it's the personal touches that make Eleven Westgate special. Guests are genuinely made to feel at home, more like friends than customers, and nothing was too much trouble for Mike and Amanda, whether it was valet parking for my muddy mountain bike or a special early breakfast to fit in with my busy schedule. Pickering makes a brilliant base for a holiday, there is so much to see and do in the area, whatever your age and interests. There's a great choice of pubs and restaurants serving excellent food (and Yorkshire ales! ) within walking distance of Westgate, and a warm welcome everywhere you go. This was my second mountain biking holiday in the Pickering area, and it won't be the last.

We first at stayed at Eleven Westgate as part of a mountain bike break, and within minutes of walking through the door, we were made to feel at home. The welcome is the second to none, the accommodation is fantastic, ideally located to walk into Pickering. Mike and Amanda serve a great breakfast, this was all we need to set us up for a day mountain bike instruction in the great Yorkshire forest…! After riding for more than 20 years, the instruction by Mike "surpassed all my expectations! " his friendly yet supportive method of instruction worked miracles, which allowed my partner to tackle red and some black sections after only a day and half of instruction. The greatest compliment I can give is that I have recommended it to family and friends, we have returned on 3 occasions already, and we will hopefully return soon. If you are looking for a friendly, welcoming comfortable bed and breakfast in north Yorkshire… look no further. Martin & Nicola.

This place really is a cut above the average B&B. It is modern, stylish, spotlessly clean and very welcoming. They have clearly thought about all the things that make it a real pleasure to stay rather than just a place to sleep. We can't recommend it highly enough.

This reminds me of my summer trip to Eleven Westgate. I went there as part of a Mountain-biking package and didn't know what to expect. I experienced a memorable weekend with a great warm welcome, good company, fine food and a farewell tea and cake. I have kept in touch and look forward to another visit this summer if my knee permits. Thanks!
