Really nice tearoom. They do great wholesome lunches with a nice specials board. Great cakes and drinks. Dogs and muddy boots OK too🥰👍

Stopped here for breakfast before going to the museum. Food was delicious and staff were very friendly and welcoming, especially to our dog.
Will 100% visit again when in the area.

Absolutely loved our stay in The Barn last week! Breakfast was amazing every morning and rooms were lovely and cosy. Caroline and Gareth are amazing hosts and we loved meeting Kali too 😊 We will definitely be back 🥰

Had a sausage & fresh tomato sandwich here this morning with my wife and a latte each, lovely food, very friendly, been a few times before but, thought they deserve a mention as sandwiches are fab, thank you 😊

The barn is such a fabulous place to stay Caroline & Gareth and family are all so welcoming and helpful. They really can’t do enough for you Even covid can’t keep this lot down, they’ve adapted and carried on being brilliant. Even helped with car when I had a problem with it. My friend has dementia and they were brilliant with her they took time to listen to her and made her feel at ease thank you once again for a fantastic stay x.

We were greeted with a very warm welcome, the tea room offered cosy surroundings and excellent service.
The scones we had were the best I have ever tasted, fresh out of the oven and still warm.
Dog friendly and generally a lovely place to visit, cannot wait to return. Next time we will bring our four legged friend along.

Our cycle group went to the tea room today and got a fantastic welcome. The bikes were stabled safely and we sat in the lovely courtyard. The ale cake and gluten free options went down extremely well. Thanks to all the staff. Top marks.

What an amazing spread you did for me today. 22 buffet lunches including 4 types of sandwiches, scones and jam all platted according to the couples and distancing to make it so straight forward for me to set up. Loads of homemade lemonade all very scrumptious. Thank you for all your help and for such a professional approach.

This is a smashing little B and B and Tearoom, a real find,. The owners are so kind and friendly. Can't wait to go and stay there again x.

Welcoming, homely welcome. Even an area for dogs and the baked potatoes are fantastic. For a proper homemade atmosphere and meal this is the place!

What a lovely tea room/guest house this is! The owners can't do enough to help… nothing is too much trouble… Brilliant gluten free breakfast! Helped and encouraged our little group doing the hardmoors trail marathon!

Just stayed here for a couple of nights either side of running a trail marathon and can't fault the place! So friendly and welcoming, lovely clean room, comfy bed, plenty of hot water, nice residents lounge, delicious breakfast, cracking sense of humour really what's not to like. Lots of dietary requirements catered for too, with alternatives rather than omissions which is often the case. Will definitely be going back.

Stayed for a great two night break with my family following the Easter Break. The owners provided the most homely and welcoming atmosphere for us all. The rooms were very comfortable with picture postcard views just a short stroll from the moors. All the food is home made and an absolute delight, so be prepared to do some walking to burn off the calories after sampling the cakes. Well worth a visit and shall certainly book again in the future.
