Lovely B and B in a very convenient location for the town centre. Great breakfast and accommodation and well looked after by Phil and Ali the owners.

Just returned from a fabulous 3 night girlie break at Acorn Lodge. Phil and Ali were perfect hosts. Nothing too much trouble.
We stayed in Room 4 which has a beautiful view of the tree lined avenue.
It was clean, spacious and beautifully decorated.
Breakfast was amazing and I had such a great selection of gluten free food. Situated within walking distance of the centre of Harrogate, we enjoyed a night at the theatre, a trip to the Turkish Baths meals out and shopping.
We visited RHS Harlow Carr (twice), as the Bettys Tea Rooms has a fabulous view and cakes! Also to be recommended is a visit to nearby Knaresborough. Beautiful river walk and then after a few steps! a beautiful market square and farmers market. On the way home we made a trip to Fountains Abbey. Glorious gardens and walking.
Everyone we met was so friendly.
Would highly recommend this b&b to anyone and will definitely be making a return visit with the family.

We stayed here 8 years ago for our first weekend away as a couple. Thought it would be great to go back! Didn’t disappoint. Had a lovely room, with everything we needed, including a jacuzzi bath. A very short walk into the centre of Harrogate. Phil and Ali were excellent, friendly hosts with a great breakfast too. We wouldn’t consider staying anywhere else! We would thoroughly recommend.

Great location, family run Hotel.

This is a family owned and run small guest house and I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Philip and Alison gave me a very warm welcome and showed me to my room. I had a single and it was a decent size and spotlessly clean. The house feels like a home and that certainly was complimented by the proprietors approach. My private bathroom was just along the hall a short distance but that was no inconvenience at all. Both rooms were spotless. I had a great nights sleep with no road… noise at all and breakfast was served very quickly and it was superb. Peculated coffee was piping hot and the fruit juice was good quality, not the usual budget stuff you sometimes get in smaller B&B's. A;; in all I have a 5 STAR experience at 2 STAR prices. Topped off with a great value breakfast for just £7.50 its hard to get this sort of experience for under £100. I got it for under £50. Top marks and I will 100% stay at Acorn Lodge next time I am in Harrogate.

Such a lovely place to stay can highly recommend all round. It I will be back.

A real jewel in the crown in Harrogate. Run by Philip and Ali and daughter Lola, they all bring a much needed family atmosphere and tradition to a guest house which has been completely refurbished and is local to every amenity Harrogate has to offer. Philip is a great chef too. Breakfast at the acorn Lodge is just complete perfection. This is a MUST STAY venue and you’ll want to come back. My wife and I have — 4 times.

Very close to the center of Harrogate parking available room's comfortable and warm breakfast very good friend service, overall a very pleasant stay I would recommend.

After careful consideration and taking heed the Met Office amber weather warning and police messages advising people not to travel unless necessary. Myself and my friend made the decision to cancel our weekend away that we were so looking forward to. We made the telephone call and advised Acorn Lodge that we were unable to travel in these adverse weather conditions only to be told that due to cancelation policies we would be charged for one night. When we offered to rebook at a later date we were told that we would still be charged for this cancelation. Although fully understanding the cancelation process, under these extreme and rare weather conditions we feel that this is unfair practice and no compassion shown to anyone in this situation. Needless to say we will not be returning at any point in the future.

Really lovely spot and within easy walking distance of the centre. Friendly welcoming staff, really comfortable and well presented rooms and great breakfast. Limited off-road parking but roadside parking also available — ask for a disk! Would stay again anytime.

The accommodation was flawless the breakfast there was amazing and the owners are the loveliest of people even allowed me to park on there property when I'd checked out so I could do a bit of shopping in Harrogate to save me on parking cost… will definitely stay there whenever I stay in Harrogate. I would highly recommend anyone visiting harrogate to stay at this B&b.

I stayed at the Acorn Lodge for three nights. I had a fabulous stay. The room was comfortable and nicely decorated, breakfast was great and it's a stones throw away from town. Phil and his wife are very hospitable and friendly. I highly recommend this bed and breakfast. ~ Harmony.

Fantastic bed and breakfast situated in a quiet tree lined avenue within walking distance of the town centre. Rooms are beautifully decorated with plush linen and lovely jacuzzi bath. First class hosts who make you feel at home the minute you arrive. Book direct for the best price and consider choosing some of the extras to make your stay even more memorable. I very rarely stay in the same place twice but will certainly return if I come back to Harrogate.
