Stayed here while attending the Theakston crime festival 2018 after a recommendation. Very pleasantly surprised and can't recommend enough. Single room was clean and power shower was just what was needed. Breakfast very tasty and hosts very friendly. Hope to stay again next year.

A quaint B&B on the end of a terrace in the Victorian style, with good housekeeping practices and friendly, polite staff. However the lack of a reception desk with no indication as to how to call for service except in the case of an emergency and a general impression of there being insufficient staff let it down. Acceptable for brief stays but I wouldn't consider it a place to spend a week's holiday.
