Great pub hotel. Simple but clean rooms. Cosy, traditional pub with a fantastic breakfast. Highly recommended for anyone going to a wedding a Falton Manor, it's only 5 minutes down the road.

Excellent location just outside Settle. Stayed in room 1, which was perfect for us. We had a few drinks in the bar before having dinner. The food here is top notch, as is the service. Staff friendly and polite. We would recommend the Harts Head Inn.

Really good! I enjoyed my fish and chips and it was very quick service.

Wonderful meal at the Harts Head. Steak was delicious as was the Cheese and onion pie. Puddings were lovely too! Staff very helpful and friendly. Will be back.

Had bar meal this evening, first visit, allowed our dog in so good food, lovely surroundings, sensible pricing 5 star for me.

A nice welcoming atmosphere with friendly and attentive staff, the menu has a lot of option, the food is of high quality and with a reasonable portion size, offers good value for money. The Harts Head is family friendly and also pet friendly so the whole family can eat out without worrying about the dog at home. Would highly recommend trying if you’re staying in the area or passing by.

We only stopped one night but everyone was very welcoming and friendly. The room was clean, tidy, the beds were comfortable and as we were up early in the morning we were provided with breakfast trays which was great!

Had a fabulous meal last night! Presentation and quality of the food is top class great service from friendly staff in lovely surroundings. We live 5mins away so we can take advatage of the loyalty scheme.

Great place for walkers and weekend breaks! Great atmosphere and dogs welcomed in the bar and over night.

Won the 3 course meal, booked in for Saturday night, it was excellent, the food was fantastic and the service was superb, couldn't recommend this place enough. Definitely going again soon :)

What a find, been passing this pub for years and never called in, what a mistake, beautiful decor, unusual but just my type, friendly staff all round, food,,,,, well what can I say deeeeeelisious, and the lemon posset xxxxxxxx my finger even cleaned the sides,,,,,, naughty,,, but nice, got a loyalty card now so,,,,,,,,,, we will be back. A friendly welcome and relaxed atmosphere. Delicious breakfast and plenty of it. Lively bar. Bar and dining area have been tastefully refurbished, as have bathrooms. Bedrooms in need of some redecoration which they are about to do.

Good atmosphere, great location, comfy bed, clean, and an epic breakfast. Overnight stay on 30 September. Will go again.

Outstanding pub/restaurant offering a great range of beers and outstanding food. The additional of Sky TV in the pub area is incredibly welcome. Restaurant area is separate from main bar area which for me is a stroke of genius.

We visited here on recommendation from a friend. The place is newly refurbished, and it was quiet when we dined (perhaps the reputation hasn't spread far enough yet…?! ). The menu choices were excellent, and the bar was well-stocked, with 10 gins to choose from, and a selection of beers and lagers. The food was super, and the waitress catered for our 2-year old before we could even ask (e. G. Child's food arriving with our starters, glass of juice, etc. ). With convenient parking at the front and rear, good value food and drink, and excellent service, this place is a must for either romatic or family dining.

Excellent array of drinks especially Gins, the Rhubarb Gin is a must!
The food is excellent! and to top it all the view over to Giggleswick School Chapel sets the scene for a very memorable occasion x.

Had a great meal here last night, staff friendly and attentive, all our meals were cooked to perfection (good gluten free options). All other guests were raving about the food too which was nice to hear. Great decor, and amazing location — enjoyed a drink outside before the meal in the big beer garden. Great view. Will be back!

Just been for lunch on a friends recommendation thoroughly enjoyed it — good food and service.

Visited for the first time at the weekend. The pub and dining area look to have been recently decorated. It was very clean and tidy and had a great atmosphere. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The bar has a great selection of drinks at a reasonable price. Will return again soon.

Only had a drink on this occasion but staff were extremely helpful and the environment felt calm and inviting. Menu looks very good so will be returning to try their food at some point in the very near future.

Amazing Food from start to finish, Excellent service and the refurb has given it a new lease of life. This will become one of the premier food venues in the area in very little time. The best pub food for miles and amazing value. No more trailing out of town for a good meal! Well done guys.

Served as my local for a week away. Friendly staff and regulars. Food was pretty good and prices were fine. Outside space at the back is nice, and child friendly.

A great place. The lady who runs it is the best example of professional and hospitable I've ever seen. If you want to know how to run a hotel or bar, you could do worse that spend a few days watching and listening.

Nice pub bar. Frustrating food. Enjoying the easy parking and a nice big table for our large group we were looking forward to our steak night meal at Harts Head. Table staff were friendly and assured us the steaks were good here. Unfortunately they couldn't have been more wrong. Everything here except the steaks were fine, nice even (good chips, wine, veg, good bar). Ordering a steak anything other than almost inedibly blackened was pointless. Medium? You get it black. Medium rare? It comes very well done, almost black. I'm not one to send food back, and the steak offer (with wine for £15) means you'd let it go if it isn't exactly the way you like. There was literally nothing redeeming about 5 out of 6 steaks provided though. They'd been through a blast furnace I think. So back some go for a second attempt. What returns was a 'medium rare' steak so uncooked the meat is now actually cold throughout. The medium orders? They're now rare. Either the kitchen is getting the hump on or these guys have absolutely no idea. Half the group abandon a third attempt. My wife went hungry — if you want medium you probably struggle with an uncooked rare. The third attempt steaks were finally about right, half an hour later. Other notes? -The table staff couldn't be nicer and more apologetic. -The manager clearly showed her annoyance with us — sorry, but if I ran this place it's the complete lack of any quality control in a kitchen with expensive pieces of meat I'd be annoyed at.

Stopped there twice now. Clean good value room with friendly atmosphere. Good pub food at a fair price. Nothing not to like.

Its a great place for a drink But the food was really bad which is a real shame just let down by the food.
