We had a lovely 2 nights here. The pool is lovely and we had the biggest room (112) in a Hilton we have ever had (apart from Qatar).
The staff are really friendly and welcoming — nothing to fault really :)
I put family friendly (we went as a couple) as we could see there was lots to do — table tennis/croquet etc and there was lots of grass to run around on.
The beauty treatments are great and very reasonably priced too.
One of the best stays we have had all in all :)

Very old and dated hotel, could do with a modern touch. Price was £99 for a basic room far too much in my opinion but your probably paying for the Hilton brand. Have previously stayed in budget hotels like Premier Inn and Travel Lodge that have been far superior at a fraction of the price. Very friendly staff and quick check in’s the only positive 👍

Lovely place to relax with delicious food.

Today we attended for the “Mother’s Day” afternoon tea I was lucky to win through the fb/Instagram competition. I have to say from start to finish it was faultless, staff were amazing, polite, friendly, helpful. The afternoon tea was delightful and plenty of food.
Drinks are very reasonably priced for a hotel and the setting was perfect. We will certainly return for another afternoon tea or a bottomless brunch.

Its a location is ideal for the south downs area around the beautiful Arundel Castle. The golf course next to the hotel adds extra benefits.

The rooms were clean, warm and comfortable and service by staff was warm and friendly. Highly recommend.

I booked the Hilton for my daughters birthday and we both had a lovely time. The room was clean and cosy and it was so nice to have a swim in the pool. Thank you.

We got married here 5 years ago so today so went back for afternoon tea to celebrate. It was amazing the staff went out of there way to make a fuss over us and it bought back amazing memories of our special day the staff are always amazing and always have been.

Had Afternoon Tea for two & was most dissatisfied. There was no decaf tea for my husband. The sandwiches were uninspiring & only 4 varieties (unlike the advertised photo). The scones were the only decent things to eat. This was a 2 star experience at 4 star prices.

Just arrived at Hilton Avisford, extremely disappointed as a Hilton Honours Guest, I expected much better.

Great first day of opening breakfast is done brilliantly with cooked breakfast served to you and the buffet with yogurt cereals and fruit done in individual pots lovely. Drinks served to you too with a happy greeting
. Rooms quiet big TV very comfortable. Highly recommend.

Warm welcome, beautiful relaxing massage, very attentive and peaceful calming atmosphere.

I have stayed in hundreds of hotels over many years and it takes a lot to impress me, the Avisford Park has done exactly that. A true sense of team working and being on the front foot in terms of customer service throughout — highly recommended!

Had our Christmas party there and afternoon tea. Was lovely atmosphere nice and chilled.

Hannah in the spa is absolutely Brilliant best massage ever.

It is a really beautiful place my friend and I felt we had been away more than 1 night. We had a recently refurbished room really lovely. There was nothing to to much trouble for them. They cater well for coeliac vegans vegetarians. Will come back again.

Four of us went for a bottomless brunch yesterday and had a great time. The food choices were amazing and were all really good. My daughter is cows milk free at the moment and they were so helpful even offering extra choices not on the menu. The staff were lovely and very efficient at topping up the Prosecco glasses. Well worth a visit.

Untrained staff. Rooms in need of renovation. One of our rooms had sewage backing up into the bath tub. Very noisy ground floor as that is where the wedding parties have their disco.

Want to say a big THANKYOU for our stay with you whilst attending the wedding of Sam and Katie Bennett. Hotel was spotless and so comfortable, each member of staff were so helpful and friendly, especially Luke who was very accomodating. We were all made to feel so special.

I came with my friend for the spa day and couldn't recommend bit enough it's so so lovely and relaxing. Food was beautiful and service was great too. Can't wait to come back thank you x.

A mediocre hotel. As in an anecdote: clean, but poor.

Well we had a perfectly pleasant stay here. Nice room, quiet, had a good sleep. Food and drink a little pricey but there's plenty of other places in the area to eat. We did have a drink on the terrace in the evening which was lovely. The breakfast was lovely, a huge choice of food and drink and plenty of it. The only thing that was a let down was my tea I ordered never arrived. However we would definitely stay here again.

This is a converted boarding school so most rooms tend to be quite small. OK for one person or two traveling light. Service has been fine and quite happy with food and beverage although the latter tend to be a bit pricey. Nice setting in the countryside and availability of tennis and golf is a plus for an extended stay. Figure 5 minutes from Arundel and 20 minutes from Chichester depending on A27 traffic. Note for old folks. No elevator.

Really helpful staff. Went out of their way to assist and were all very kind. We have stayed before but it's always a pleasure.

I just had a chat with Alex from reservations already made reservations and she was the loveliest and the service was just exquisite! So calm but not laid back. So confident and eloquent! She knows what she does. 5 star for the phone service I didn't spend a lot of time to speak to an operator and the options so straight forward. Keep it up Hilton!

I did not stay at the hotel, but I wanted people to know how helpful the staff at Hilton Avisford Park have been to my husband and I. We were due to have our wedding reception at Cottesmore Golf and Country Club on 16th June. However, this venue caught fire on 11th June and we were no longer able to use this place. The Hilton Avisford Park, stepped in and offered to help us out at very short notice. Amy, especially, was extremely helpful and made a stressful situation much m…ore bearable. So although I cannot comment on the rooms, I can comment on the excellent staff and their kindness.

Loved it. Beautiful scenery. Quiet and relaxing. The best place for a quiet weekend get away. Golf course and mini golf course… Table tennis. Great dining experience… Will definitely be back.

Had an amazing spa day here. The staff were wonderful. And the food was fantastic. Highly recommend to others.

I loved my surprise visit last night.
The staff were very friendly and helpful nothing was to much.
Food was brilliant (being a very fussy eater I found something to eat for dinner breakfast and lunch).
Lovely grounds to have a wonder round.
Room was clean and tidy. (Could of done with an extra pillow though. )
Only downside was the slamming of the other doors and the sound of water from next door but can't be helped.
All in all a very lovely weekend surprise from my husband.
I will be happy to stay again. Xxx.

Rooms are terrible and dated! Like walking back in time. Our TV didn’t work so called reception and a lady came in and asked if we could do without a TV after saying no, they reluctantly moved us rooms which was supposed to be an upgrade. The only positive thing that I can say about the hotel is the grounds are nice. Took two payments from my account when I booked online and can’t get through to anyone who can help! TERRIBLE!

Friendly staff. Room very poor, broken tiles in very small bathroom, chipped paint, in bad need of refurbishment. Very disappointed. Good breakfast, but will not stay again.

The hotel would have to be completely renovated after all these years. However, the rooms are always clean and also the service is usually great. Can be highlighted the breakfast. This is always the highlight of my visits.

Beautiful place to stay and relax. Had a 2 night break with my 9 year old Daughter and we were able to relax and have fun. Bery helpful friendly staff on hand. Only one thing which was an issue was the size of the pool and how busy it was. Overall great place and staff are amazing. Will be staying again. Thank you.

I stayed for 5 nights and must say it is a very nice hotel. Who says it has come in the years I must say true, but for that it has also the charm that a new modern hotel does not have. To eat I must say I am thrilled. I persohnlich like to eat and a lot there you should already choose 3 courses because the main dish is a bit posh you should also make a reservation in time. The service in the restaurant and also in the room cleaning is absolutely impeccable! If I came to this corner of England again, I would choose it again at any time. I can say little about the leisure offers because it is February and I'm too cold outside. All in all a nice mid-priced hotel with very very friendly staff.

Went with a friend for a spa day. The facilities are adequate but not amazing (pool, steam room and sauna). The gym cannot even be called a gym, the facilities are bare plus all the staff and the "reception" is in the same room so if you are using the equipment (which is noisy! ). If there are classes on in the pool (like mum's and babies) then the changing rooms are very busy (and not big enough! ) And the pool is busy as well. Staff are friendly, food is yummy. The facial is lovely but do not bother with getting your nails painted. They were messy, came off very easily and not worth the money. Would not recommend for value for money.

I attended the Valentine ball this weekend and stayed for one evening with friends. It was just fabulous from start to finish, Our room was beautiful and spotlessly clean. The staff were all welcoming and attentive, we really couldn’t have asked for more. I have never seen a breakfast buffet with such a vast range which may I add was all of great quality. I really cannot fault our stay and can’t wait to stay again x.

Only a one night stay though. 2 adults and 2 kids in a deluxe double room. Large room with separate dressing room, very large bathroom, wide main bed, double sofa bed and a foldaway single bed. Room included a wine cooler too. Wifey had a relaxing facial at the spa. There is a small gym area, a small but very warm swimming pool plus a sauna and a steam room. They have a snooker room but didn't use that. We had a dinner, bed and breakfast deal. We all enjoyed our dinner. Breakfast is help yourself buffet style, cooked and cold choices. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. Weather was terrible so didn't venture outside but the hotel is set inside large grounds with their own golf course. Reasonable amount of free parking too.

I stayed here with my boyfriend for one night. The staff really looked after us and made us feel really welcome. Room and facilities were clean. Bed very comfortable. The only thing is that you would want a car to stay here otherwise it's a bit tricky to access the town. By car it's only a 10min drive to Arundal castle Thanks for a fantastic trip Hilton.

Everything was fab with our stay even though we couldnt book the room with a wet room my partner could everywhere else. Staff friendly and helpful. Grounds very pretty and some lovely dog walks. Bar well stocked. Food was tasty. Had afternoon tea which was good. Rooms nice and beds were comfortable What more do you need.

Hotel set in lovely grounds. Interior traditional but tired and in some areas scruffy but very clean. Staff very good helpful and very professional. Rooms quite spacious and comfortable. Food very good. What spoilt our stay was no hot water at all on our departure day but they gave a generous discount for inconvenience. Would stay again.

Wonderful staff, beautiful grounds and grand building. This hotel lets the Name; Hilton down. 9.30am Boxing day. No hot water! So you either don't shower or try and take a freezing cold shower. In 2017 you can't provide hot water? I called reception twice second time James said they would 'Restart' the boiler'! Food; The Asparagus Risotto, over cooked rice was like mush, a few peas and mushrooms. Did not see or taste the asparagus. After 3 forks full, that was enough. The Vegetarian Curry; Tasteless, a water mix of over cooked vegetables and rice. The rice was not over cooked, as a meal not worth the money or calories. Result was two meals not eaten. The pictures are of two bugs on the wall above our headboard. I never never seen bugs in a Hliton before. We found 7 in our room. They were 'lady bugs' but not a pleasant find in the morning and when they make you feel dirty and itchy you can't take a shower.

Typical English mansion atmosphere, very hospitable, good, English cuisine.

Always like visiting, pleasant atmosphere. Nice coffee and food. Has a gym, pool and does body treatments. Can recommend.

Great food and party atmosphere. I went for a work Christmas party, and it was very well organized. The waiting staff are to be commended as they were all fast and efficient with a full dining room with several work Christmas parties going on at the same time!

Falls short of Hilton expectations it was a bit grubby the rooms need modernising there chips in bath panel and mirror. The restaurant served good food but there was a rather long wait to be served. The swimming pool is adequate with a sauna and stem room adjacent. The grounds were well maintained and spacous.

Would have to be done a lot! Breakfast is good and lush.

Staff were efficient and friendly but the building is dated and the decor is very tired. Have stayed in far more modern hotels in this price range… Time for some serious investment.

We went here for a corporate event and it was very nice. Food was great. Grounds were very pretty and we'll kept.

Amazing place who went above and beyond for our wedding there on the 12/08/17. It was a perfect day and the photographs in the building and grounds are beautiful. We have also been there for a spa day which was very good too.

We had our daughters wedding here on Sunday 27 August 2017 and we felt that we had to write a review. We all had the most wonderful day could not fault the staff, food or venue. The staff were all very helpful cannot thank them enough for all their hard work. We would thoroughly recommend the hotel to family and friends. A HUGE THANKYOU TO YOU! Cathie and Keith Moore.

Everyone from the Networking event headed into the lunch hall for a buffet to get food. I queued with everyone else, and when I got to the tables with the sandwiches and wraps on I noticed that none of the food had cards on them saying what was in them. When I asked for the vegetarian option I was told to go to the bar. As it was the Hilton I was expecting a Crispy Tofu Sandwich with Ginger Peanut Sauce, Bourbon Mango Pulled Squash Sandwich, Roasted Mushroom Melt or a Brie and Apple Grilled Cheese Panini. It's the Hilton! "They're fantastic I hear people say… " Instead I was given a lettuce, cucumber and tomato sandwich on white bread which was dull, boring and 20 years out of date as a recipe. The Hilton Brand should be ashamed. I expected more….

Hardly four star! Dinner was not inspiring: serving staff probably summer hires. Breakfast buffet good. Definitely in need of a refurbishment, which I understand is now being undertaken. A very dirty and stained cloth stool in the main sitting area. Table tennis, garden chess, and swimming pools good for families. Photos must have been taken after initial redecoration.

On arrive to the hotle it looks grate in a nice place. But once taken to the room it smelled of damp and when moved the bed together sweet wrapper on the floor and the dirt on skirting board. Had to move rooms and the prices your paying you want to be nice. If I can clean my skirting board I would like the hotle to do the same.

It may not be recently decorated but it has character, a large lounge, plenty of outside chairs and friendly helpful staff. The menu is a bit restricted but the breakfast bar is superb. We spent two days there and really enjoyed it.

Hotel and grounds are lovely staff are very friendly, food was really nice dinner and breakfast, as for the room. £159 for a room that was very dated very grubby, and to say on arrival it's a double bed in there to find out its 2 singles pushed together, room is no way worth £159 for the night and breakfast is not included in that price, iv stayed in better room in a travel lodge, and thats not being funny that's the truth, for the service and the food I would consider going back, but would not pay £159 to stay there again, Hilton u need to update ur rooms or drop the price.

Diabolical. After checking in early at 1.30pm for a wedding in Arundel we arrived to find our room changed to something fitting of an economy B&B not Hilton. No dressing on beds, nothing. Shameful to use the Hilton brand at £159

Hotel with English charm and good food but: I have been there with 3 children and there are some silly rules that say they can not swim in the pool at 3 at the same time while one of my children has been registered in a swimming club for three years. That they can not bathe in that the adult accompanying them is in the water at the same time. More in the evening the average time for supper was 1:45 for entrée and dessert without aperitit and without coffee (imagine with 3 children). The hotel is starting to need an E renovation. Go there for work: OK but for family holidays I would not advise.

Rooms are dated, no air con and it seemed particularly hot. Locks to bathroom broken. The bars to window are only held on by 2 rusty screws and a child could easily break it if pushed hard. Long distance to room from reception with no lifts! Pool room tired. Food as expected and also friendly staff hence 3 rather than 2 out of 5.

No air conditioning, and no screens in windows, TV didn't work, Wi-Fi unreliable… ugh.

Brilliant for a getaway for a weekend, located in the country and plenty to do in the surrounding areas. Staff were all very friendly, felt welcomed, rooms were good. Loved it!

Very pleasant hotel. My partner and her daughter and her husband had a lovely meal. The staff should be complemented on there friendly and efficient way we were treated. We would certainly come back again.

One of the most beautiful places I have ever been to. The coutryside is simply amazing and the hotel is lovely.

I don't write this lightly but this place is a dump. Cold room, hard bed, a cold breeze in the bar and the bar man was rude to my friend. Never again will I set foot in the place.

Nice, old fashioned feel. The food is pretty good. My room was quite nice — not silent, but quiet enough (could hear next doors light switches, etc. ). The staff are friendly and helpful.

Stayed for one night in October 2014 as we were attending the theatre in Chichester. The hotel was very nice, with some excellent facilities. We were upgraded on arrival and this was very much appreciated. All the staff were very nice and a particular mention should be given to the lovely breakfast and free drinks coupons that I received as a HHonors Gold member. Highly recommended.

We have had a wonderful stay at Avisford Park. The terrace over looking the lawn was perfect for relaxing on. Beautiful furniture and huge umbrellas, giant chess all added to the fun. The service was impeccable, Freddie was an absolute star. The dining experience was great quiet a limited menu but delicious food again great service. Rooms spotlessly clean and spacious. I would highly recommend to anyone wanting a dhort break in Arundel.

My boyfriend and I stayed here for our second anniversary as part of a spa break deal and were pleasantly surprised by the excellent handling of reservation and check-in. We stayed in a deluxe room and on entering the room had a wonderful view over looking the golf course. We had breakfast included in the room rate and this was excellent, small fluffy croissants, warm milk with coffee and fresh fruits. The spa facilities and the massage were lovely and the outdoor swimming pool was a big plus for us we enjoyed relaxing by the pool.

The hotel decor is a little outdated but I think this is a part of its charm. Arundel aria is lovely. The hotel is comfortable and clean. The staff was friendly and the food was very delicious. I had a great Spa experience.

I was working at a client nearby and the one requirement when I was booking a hotel was to find one with a gym. The gym at the hotel is the worst I have ever come across, and that includes my school gym. There is a severe lack of equipment, and what little equipment there is is crammed into a room that is far too small. The pool looked ok though. Hotel wise, the furnishings looked a little tired. The bathroom was very small, and the door wouldn't open fully at the sink was in the way. However the bed was clean and comfy, and I enjoyed having a window looking out onto a field full of sheep and lambs. Ate once in the restaurant and once in the bar. Prices were quite expensive, but typical for a hotel. The staff I dealt with were all charming.
