Beata and the team at The Swan made our wedding day lunch simply perfect. From the initial booking, food tasting, catch ups along the way, we were made to feel special and that our day was just as important to them. The delivery on the day was faultless, and all the little extras they threw in along the way were thoughtful and meaningful, this has become a very special place for us… heartfelt thank you to Beata, Yasmin, Harry, Chef and all the team ❤️

Lovely overnight stay at the Swan. Nice little touches like slippers and dressing gowns. Staff were fantastic as was the food. Good to be asked for feedback on the room as I know they are genuinely interested and will take on board the comments Best breakfast I've had in a long time.

Second stay here, staff and landlady could not be more helpful, rooms comfy and nicely decorated, right in the heart of Arundel, highly recommend.

Amazing experience everything was above and beyond. Our food and wine was so lovely thank you to Becky and the manager on shift with blond hair for making our visit so wonderful. We only live down the road and have never been here before but we will most certainly be back soon.

Stayed here last night for our 11 year anniversary. Beautiful room with a lovely gift waiting for us on arrival! Great touch (love gin too). We also booked for dinner which was so tasty and the atmosphere in the restaurant was just right… A big shout out to each member of staff who were all warm, friendly and couldn't do enough for us! we enjoyed it so much we booked for Christmas day dinner. Thank you for a memorable stay.

Had dinner there this evening, the food and service were extremely good, very good value for money. Will definitely return.

Had a really lovely dinner here this evening. All staff were friendly & strictly following the Covid guidelines. The food was exceptional — we both said the chips were the best chips we've ever had along with the brownie. Our waitress was Migle who was really lovely, friendly & helpful — she was extremely pleasant. Thank you for a wonderful dinner!

Very nice pub in the centre of Arundel. Useful amount of parking on street nearby. Didn't eat myself but friend said his food was very enjoyable. Reasonably priced menu too.

Sadly read reviews and expected really good service but we were shortchanged in the bar by £10. Not what we'd expect with computerised tills these days. Unless the staff are all trained just to take cards not cash. It was about 10 mins of worrying that something was wrong that my brother decided to challenge the amount of change he'd got. The barman seemed to think it was no big deal. My brother is disabled and retired so £10 is no insignificant amount to him and he's not one to ever complain so I did on his behalf. This really put us off Arundel giving us the impression that ripping people off is the norm there as it's full of wealthy people.
a very upsetting experience. my advice us if you pay cash scrutinise your change.

Stayed 1 night as myself and my husband had been touring the area, very clean welcoming accommodation, next morning breakfast was slow on arriving and staff was not rushed with breakfast duties, but really would recommend this place for high standard of cleanliness and lovely staff.

1st time at this restaurant and I wasn't disappointed! Amazing food, the staff were friendly and atentative, and to top it off there was a fab musician who played in the background. I would definitely recommend.

Has the best nights sleep ever! Beds amazing and lovely pillows too! Staff very friendly bit noise late at night from downstairs but to be expected.

Hi I had to come back and say this place is brilliant. The staff are so friendly and helpful, there is such a lovely atmosphere at this place with a very talented young man on the guitar. We stopped in for a few drinks and didn't want to leave, can honestly say it's brilliant well worth a visit and I hope to come back in a couple of months, thank you.

Beautiful, clean, big and stylish room with lovely view of the town and some of the castle and the food we had there was fantastic! Staff were so nice too! Definitely recommend staying here!

I booked a table for three at The swan Arundel. My appointment was at 3.15pm. When I reached near the castle at 2.55, I called them up for the location. The lady who picked up the phone informed us the restaurant would be closed at 3pm. I didnt know what to say. How did they confirm the booking at 3.15 pm then? The restaurant sent me the confirmation itself. Surprised! We had to choose another restaurant which I would say is the best so far in that area!

Awesome environment, marvellous choices of meals. The staffs were professional & friendly and I must say very certious.

Pai and the unchanging fish-and-chips. Beer is about a dozen varieties. It's delicious. I recommend to visit.

My wife and I visited the Swan yesterday (Thursday 22nd March) for lunch. There appeared to be no more than about 6 guests in the pub at the time. However, we had to wait 20 minutes from ordering our drinks, and had to remind the waiter that we were still waiting for them. The food arrived after further delay. The main course was poor; my wife had hake which was immersed in cooking oil. We complained, and the bill was reduced by 15%. Our overall impression was a poorly managed house with amateur chef. Regrettably we do not intend to visit the Swan Hotel again.

I stayed here as part of a last minute weekend away, and it was lovely. The hotel and pub are dog friendly, the restaurant is not; the staff went out of their way to make sure we had somewhere to eat our meals (on a busy Friday night and for breakfast the next day). It's also in a really good location, the rooms are comfortable and have everything you need, and the price was reasonable.

The room we had was warm, clean and comfortable. However the ridiculous amount of time that we had to wait for our meals was unacceptable. This was compounded by a very rude waitress on Sunday morning, the day we were leaving. We had sat and waited three quarters of an hour for our breakfast, I got up from the table and walked towards the kitchen to see how much longer we were going to have to wait, the waitress came out and I said to her that 3/4 of an hour was unacceptable amount of time to wait for any meal. Her reply was " well sorry about that but we do have other people" this was said in a very surly and arrogant tone. We complained to the Under Manager who said that we would be receiving a phone call from the Manager. That was on Sunday 11th February, we still haven't received that call. Because of the amount of time waiting for food and the rudeness of the waitress we would not go to this Hotel again.

Simply perfect. We hired the hotel for a christening reception and they provided the perfect day. The staff were fantastic, the food was exceptional and the rooms were very nice. Credit to the management for running such a great establishment.

I went for dinner here with a small group and it was fantastic. The pub itself has a cosy interior with an attentive and welcoming staff. The food did not disappoint and I will definitly be returning soon.

Nice place, staff were polite but had to wait quite a while for our drinks and food. The food was nice but not hot enough for me. They may have been short staffed on the day as it was quite busy. Wouldn’t stop me going again.

We went to book, but we were faced with the most total indifference and view of the cleanliness of the bar we left.

Great breakfasts and great evening meals! Have had many breakfasts here, they have a fruit, cereal, yoghurt and juice table and serve full english's. Coffee is good too. As for evenings I had a fantastic burger here and it was served on a wooden chopping board and was huge and extremely tasty! The bar staff are friendly and they sell real beer!

A fantastic place with beautiful and thoughtfully furnished comfortable rooms. All the amenities you could want and a quiet nights sleep. Plenty to see in Arundel, the castle, church, some lovely shopping, cream tea, restaurants. All in all a wonderful weekend.

Thursday 26th October 2017 so called (grill night) after waiting over 20 minutes didn't have a grill night as advertised out side the main entrance. With first drink the glass was dirty looked like a piece of meat or slime stuck to it. Very uninterested bar staff. After 40 minutes waiting just for me to go the bar to be told she didn't ask about what the kitchen was serving. Better restaurants and pubs in Arundel.

Great food and drink, and an absolutely lovely stay, very quiet rooms and everything has a boutique attention to detail which makes the place feel very luxurious.

Absolutely brilliant Staff were so polite and really on the ball. Harry was a superstar Food was amazing and our bed was so comfortable. Never had a nights sleep that good away from home before!

I love this pub… Whilst I cannot vouch for the restaurant side as I've yet to eat here, the bar area/pub side is a lovely place to be, nice quiet atmosphere, relaxed friendly staff and a great selection of drinks.

Nice pub hotel to stay at. Friendly staff and decent pub food, a good spot for bed and breakfast. Only minus point would that the managers are a little less friendly and not super helpful.

Popped in for a glass of wine. Very welcoming, lovely relaxed atmosphere with tasteful decor. Lots of info displayed about forth coming events. Impressed with the loo's Damsels & Knights. Very clean with great toiletries and period furniture. Would love to return for the cocktail festival in July.

What a lovely hotel. Went to a wedding here and the food was absolutely fantastic including the breakfast. Lovely touch with the dressing gown and slippers and a flask of fresh milk given to us for our tea. Would definitely recommend. Trudie.

A perfect place for a peaceful weekend away. The deluxe room was fab, the food was excellent (one of the best burgers I have ever had). It is also in a great location with everything right outside the main door. Would love to go here again.

Used the Swan Hotel over Christmas. Situated near the centre of town with good public parking at the rear. We had an excellent Christmas lunch and the family generally agreed that it was possibly the best we have eaten on any Christmas over the past 20 years or so. The staff were very attentive but not intrusive. Recommended. Not to be confused with the White Swan also in Arundel.

Food was tasty and the roast dinner was a generous portion, but the service was quite poor and unattentive.
