Beautiful hotel. Our rooms were superb. Staff were extremely helpful and lovely. Food was great. It was a business trip but would love to come here for leisure too.

We only went for high tea but it was absolutely splendid. Good parking, attentive staff, lovely interior and glorious grounds. 10/10.

A fabulous nights stay after a friends wedding. Beautiful rooms, location and staff. At prices are very expensive.

Visited for Afternoon Tea which was delicious. Staff were very attentive. Was let down by not being able to sit on the terrace which has lovely views on a glorious day like today. When we asked we were told afternoon tea is always served inside. Such a shame as this hotel is in a lovely setting.

We had my birthday tea there in the new locations, not the front entrance as before. Superb service throughout, questions answered and I got a birthday candle with a song by family and waiters. Can't recommend enough.

Visited the hotel yesterday for the Sunday carvery. The food and service were both amazing. Our daughter has severe food allergies and was looked after so well. The chef came out to speak to us about what she could and couldn't eat. Nothing was too much of a problem with lots of gluten free options available. We will definitely be back!

Absolutely stunning place, Mulberry Restaurant is elegant. We had lunch at Oatlands, food was amazing and the service was excellent. I will definitely go there again.

Stayed for one night for our Wedding Anniversary and all the staff were so helpful & nice, nothing was too much trouble. Restaurant/dinner was delicious, grounds were beautiful. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and will be back again for sure, thank you x.

Went to the murder mystery evening last night was fun rooms were nice dinner and breakfast for £100.00 was a good deal BUT! The bar prices were extortionate! You could drink cheaper in Mayfair! £20.00 for one gin and tonic! Even the bar staff seemed embarrassed at the prices! Scotch and coke glass of Chardonnay and some crisps £44.00! Outrageous and for that reason definitely will not go back or recommend it!

Got married here in 2012 and it was everything we could have wished for. The staff were brilliant, the food was amazing and the day went very smoothly even when problems occurred they were sorted without a problem. The wedding sweet was in the old part of hotel which we preferred and loved. A couple of years later we went back for valentines day and again the main restuarant was lovely as was the food and overall evening. Had afternoon tea in the bar area some years ago and that was very pleasant. This was a gift from hotel as we went to the Mothers Day lunch the first year they did it and it was not what we expected from a hotel of this standard. They took feedback very well hence the free afternoon tea which was great. Went back in early 2018 and unfortunately was disappointed and hate to write that as had great times there. The staff were unwecloming and I know they were doing it up but the reception area and bar area was disappointing. I do hope this was a one off as we left before anyone even bothered to speak to us. Please get back to your past high standards of customer service and I would happily give 5 stars.

Two afternoon teas here so far this year. First mediocre to say the least, second worse! Customer service terrible, couldn’t find my booking, hung up on me three times because they were busy. Service at tea awful, some tea not bought out until after food, had to chase for fresh pots or top ups. Glasses of unlimited fizz not topped up after second glass. Emailed and called for manager to speak with me to avoid leaving negative review. Never happened. So much potential here, but not worth it at mo.

A really nice hotel set in lovely grounds. Plenty of parking. A great outdoor eating area for parties. Room was very clean. Bathroom was perfect. Bed was comfortable. Staff were great.

My second visit to Oatlands Park Hotel. Our 2 night stay was still njoyable staff polite and friendly and always try to help and make stay comfortable. The food and service was spot on. A couple of negatives they have a golf course pitch and putt within the grounds which I asked about which I was told stopped a couple of weeks ago. A bit strange at the start of the summer season. And the tennis court u had to pay for when it was free last time. But overall a nice hotel.

An absolutely beautiful building. The room we had was to a very high standard. The staff are super helpful and very nice. The food was also to a very high standard. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

A great place for a break, especially when there are deals on. Views to die for on the site of a former Royal Palace. Lovely old sprawling Victorian building. Attentive continental staff who actually know how to serve people. None of the usual spa facilities etc that other hotels seem to have these days but very close to Weybridge and the river. A great bolt hole from London and sometimes surprisingly affordable. Currently being renovated. Privately owned.

Nice hotel with lovely rooms but terrible customer service from not allowing wedding guests in to their rooms before 2pm when the wedding went on from 9:30 — 11:30pm. One of our friends took champagne glasses back to the bar and was told that if he leaves them there he's going to throw them in the bin! Disappointing and would not recommend having a wedding there… they certainly don't do much to make it run smoothly for you and your guests.

The hotel is great the employees are brilliant but! The hotel are only interested in profit! At Christmas they were short staffed and to tight to hire agency staff so the staff were working 12 hour shifts. You don't get paid an over time rate and Christmas you don't get paid extra and you get paid on the Friday after the 6 day of the month no company does that,!. It's a way of them keeping your wages in their bank to earn interest or some dodgy way of screwing the tax man and if you do over time and earn extra money and your a live in staff they put your rent up!. They can afford to pay over a million to refurbish the hotel but but the staff showers are mouldy. It's all about the money that's all they are bothered about and you have to check your hours due to the fact that they always make mistakes and mess your hours up and pay you less. But the good news is the owners have expensive cars and lush holidays and a fat bank account. Speak to the staff and ask them how long they have worked at the hotel I can guarantee 2 out of 5 half just started of haven't been there for more than 3 months. People come and leave more often than people at a knocking shop in sohoI'd rather work in a Chinese sweat shop making Nike trainers for £5 a day than work there again.

Beautiful grounds to walk around at the hotel. The building is lovely and the room rates are not too bad. It was all very pleasant. It might be a little more helpful for the reception staff to be included in training for all areas of the hotel as they could not answer a couple of basic questions about room rates and the restaurant menu for a Sunday. I would still go back to this hotel though as it is very nice.

Great place, good staff, had a fun and enjoyable afternoon. Rooms were hot and didn't use one a lot so didn't get a chance to see if there was A/C or not. But all in all its a lovely place, with a lovely entrance and lobby, good function hall too.

Very nice hotel. Old style but recently renovated and very good equipped rooms. Could still smell fresh paint. Breakfast is also wonderfull. Staff very pleasant helpfull by showing us the way to the room which was quite complicated. No elevator in that particular part of the Hotel.

The hotel and grounds are lovely, but the bed was so uncomfortable I may as well have been sleeping on the floor. There was no hot water in the evening or morning so ended up having to take a cold shower. Simply not acceptable for a place of that stature. The receptionist just didn't care either.

Took my dad here who has a terminal illness. This will have been he's last Christmas and I wanted to make it a bit special. Big mistake! We were barley greeted by a slovenly waiter who grunted at us and pointed to where we were to sit. No frills greeting, we took our own coats off and hung them over the chair (where they remained for the rest of our stay) and then were left to sit there and wonder what to do with ourselves. No drinks offered and no wine menu, so we just sat and waited. My dad is quite obviously very unwell and incredibly frail, he struggled to get he's coat off while my head was turned. When I looked back at him and saw he's face twisted up in pain I helped him to take the coat off, all the while the waiter just watched on with a look of annoyance on he's face. No kind of introduction from the waiter as to what was on the menu or where the different courses were laid out, It was a buffet style Christmas dinner. I noticed everyone else had bread rolls and butter bought to them by their waiters, but we hadn't been offered any. I had to get up and ask someone to bring us some water and a wine menu after about ten minutes. Eventually our waiter came over and dad order his favorite bottle of wine. About fifteen minutes or so later it arrived, plonked down on the table and left there unopened. I had to open it myself, thankfully it was a screw top. The wine dad ordered was red, it was freezing cold.

A very enjoyable afternoon with my husband having afternoon tea. Beautiful room with beautiful decor, we were served with a lovely assortment of finger sandwiches, pastries & scones with cream and jam absolutely delicious. Staff were very polite & cheerful, only comment I would make is that it would have been nice to have a pot of hot water to top up our tea or one of the staff could have asked if we would like a fresh pot of tea as it became cold and stewed, however we had a lovely time and I would really love to do this again.

Very British, with a nice and polite staff. The room was clean, well maintained and could have been a tad brighter (dark décor). The continental breakfast is good (around the GBP 12) and is offered in the Speisesall, which offers a very nice view. However, I saved the surcharge of about GBP 6 for the full British breakfast (mirror/scrambled eggs with bacon or sausages). All in all, I would immediately choose the hotel again and recommend it to anyone.

Got married here and the only good thing about it is the building. Our wedding planner was no where to be seen, my husband had to get involved because despite it being included in the contract, they didn’t supply any cutlery and the staff were clueless. We had a great wedding but it had nothing to do with the weddings team. I spoke to them afterwards but the wedding planner just laughed. There was another wedding on the same night and they also had a bad experience — they managed to get half of their money back.

Stylish hotel in excellent location. Perfect venue for a meeting or a special occasion like a marriage. Has a small but adequate gym in basement, nice bar and a decent menu in the bar and restaurant. Rooms are of good quality but varies between older and newer wings. Good breakfast with a omelette station among other things.

Only popped in to use their toilets but I must say they were very clean and well stocked.

Went on Christmas day for a quick drink. Lobby looks lovely but the drinks are very overpriced. £12 for an Irish coffee! Didn't stay at the hotel but I've heard the rooms are small and outdated.

Came along for a work Christmas party. Good service and reasonable food. Bit tightly packed in the tables though.

Live locally in Weighbridge and like to go Oatlands Park for coffee, lunch and Sunday carvery during weekends. Staffs are always nice and polite. Yesterday afternoon went with husband for a coffee while booking flights on laptop. Sat there for three hours (3 PM to 6 PM) and been approached by a lady who later claims she is not the manager but works with the manager, asked us: how long have you been staying here? How much you have spent here? You cannot stay here for whole day just paying for a glass of water. Me and my husband are so shocked as for so many times been in this hotel we are never asked to leave because we stayed there more than two hours. And what make us feel unpleasant is how can they judge customer by how much money they spend? And while there were other guest there were not been questioned by this lady, and this lady also asked 'why I haven't seen you been here? ', I feel been treated differently because I am not white. I will never go to this place again!

Had a lovely stay at Oatlands Park Hotel. The staff were professional. The room we stayed in was big and had the amenities we needed but it was outdated in terms of decor. We had a two course dinner included in our stay. I had a pate to start which was lovely but my chicken main course tasted too salty for me. Breakfast was also included in our stay but our names were not on their list, however this was resolved within 5minute. Overall our stay was good and I would return but I would not pay full price.

We visited the hotel recently for a wedding and overnight stay. The venue itself is beautiful both inside and out and it's well located too. However it was far from good value and service was hit and miss. Whilst our room was tidy and clean, it did look dated. And we had no hot water in the evening when we wanted to bathe our baby. We were informed it would warm up shortly but it didn't. Even the following morning the shower was lukewarm at best. Drinks at the hotel were pretty expensive and this wouldn't have been an issue if the service was good. But bar stuff constantly bounced patrons and were forgetful and slow. The bar even ran out of a number of spirits. Breakfast was pretty good but had it not been included, not worth the price. When we asked for an area for my wife to breastfeed or for our room to be made available early they initially tried to charge for this. So overall, I wouldn't visit again and I wouldn't recommend it either.

During dinner at the Mulberry restaurant we learned that their head chef has a Michelin star! Every dish was made to perfection with generous serving sizes. Fantastic historical property topped up with personable hospitality professionals. Recommend it highly.

Went for a wedding — great venue! Staff were lovely too! We had breakfast too which had a great spread! Only negatives was the coffee was disgusting! And most the channels weren't working in the room.

Hotel is lovely. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the service was excellent. We enjoyed our dinner and breakfast was plentiful and moreish. Really enjoyed our stay.

Really nice hotel but there were a couple of issues with the service received. The bedside lamp didn't work in the bedroom and fixing it seemed to be quite a chore! I gave up in the end. There was an event on and at 3am there were still people outside singing and shouting, finally at breakfast it took two attempts to get coffee brought over, in the end I gave up and got it myself. Lovely hotel, amazing food just need to work a little on customer care.

Lovely hotel with very friendly helpful staff. Decor is slightly old but it is currently undergoing a refurbishement so should be really great in a year.

Went for a wedding reception, the venue is spacious and the noise is well isolated. The room with a view to the outside is pleasant. It was raining when I visited but it was still a pleasant outside area to see. The room we got was fairly small, but it was well furnished and the room had good facilities — iron and board, hair dryer, shampoo/conditioner.

Rooms are old, one day water didn't come out during my stay. Service is very good and attentive. Hotel is going through a refurbishment right now. On the plus side the breakfast is good.

This hotel break was a present from our son and daughter in law for my husbands 60th birthday so we were not sure what to expect. On arrival we noticed the beautiful grounds and lake, which we were to find out later our lovely spacious room overlooked. All the staff were attentive and polite and a credit to you especially the lovely lady in reception. Dinner was delicious and good choice for breakfast. Everything was perfect from start to finish. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Great opera evening last night! Shame the bar closed at 11 for non-residents but residents could still buy drinks.

Second stay here, both were excellent. Staff friendly and helpful, good delicious but the room was a little warm.

Nice hotel, friendly staff and excellent food. Refurbishment work was ongoing but they did their absolute best to ensure it did not impact our event. Cornettos at our afternoon coffee break was a fantastic surprise :)

Fantastic 4 star hotel steeped in history. Just off the M25, but set in its own grounds you could be anywhere in rural England. The food and service are both superb, and the room really comfortable. We would recommend this place and intend to go there again soon.

Beautiful historic landmark that's now a beautiful hotel.

The hotel itself and thge grounds are quite beautiful. The rooms are 1st class also as it the food. The biggest downer for me was that 90% of the dining room staff do not speak or understand English. Having to ask 3 different waiters just to get some bread rolls before tghe meal was started. Ordering a glass of house wine (£6) with dinner incurred an additional service charge of a (£1) apparently this was for the waiter bringing it to your table. Most odd and the waiting service was poor on the night I ate there. But I was aware that there was a sit down wedding meal with over 100 guests on that evening. So dont forget the residents.! As stated the rooms were fine. The room TV stations were annoyingly limited to say the least and the several foreign channels seemed pointless. This hotel should try mnore tobe an English hotel for the majority of guests and not so interntional in the heart of rural Weybridge.

We have just returned from our son's wedding and had a fantastic time the staff are very professional and very friendly, they couldn't do enough for any of the wedding party. Accommodation excellent could quite easily have lived in the shower, very novel with sheets and blankets have not used them for almost 30 years, The wedding meal was outstanding and very well labelled for guest with allergies, breakfast was included in the nights stay and was very welcome Sunday morning and again excellent. If I have one criticism the bar prices are a bit hard to swallow pun intended.

Stayed here for 6 weeks so got to know the hotel and staff really well. Beautiful hotel, steeped in character. Good food, not brilliant. Lovely grounds. Memorable. Definitely recommend it.

Very comfortable rooms and Excellent service like the facilities including Aircondition and free Wifi. I like the food as well very delicious. I will come to stay there again.
