Abismal experience and terrible service. A huge lack of service and attention was the culprit on our visit today. In the crowded bar at lunch time there one 1 staff member handling drink and food orders for 10 covers. The people beside us were delivered the wrong order which was sent back only to eventually give up due to the time taken to replace the order. Two parties who arrived 20 minutes after us, received their food 30 minutes before us and we could hear them complaining about the toughness and state of the meat and the quality of the salad which was decomposing due to be being so old. When our food eventually arrived the starter came with the main course all in one go. When challenged about this the waitress said, "Oh, you wanted your starter before the main? " looking completely surprised! Well of course we want the starers before our main course. That's why it's called a starter! Warning — I would be seriously wary of eating here. The starter served as a main was Paté had onion pieces which were turning blue — yes blue, like er, mold — the meat was brown on the outside and pink inside — worrying. I found two black hairs on my daughter's chips and our salads were also in a state of decomposition — this food was clearly out of date — why it was on our plates, God only knows. Service — the bar trainee couldn't actually understand what drinks we wanted to order so had to scuttle off to get someone else — ten minutes later we got drinks. To top it all off — I brought all these issues up with the Operations Manager (someone you would expect to care about these issues) suggesting he come through and get feedback from ourselves and the two other parties who had had bad experiences. When he arrived, he proceeded to collect glasses and not once ask anyone how their lunch had been. To summarise — a business which doesn't care and does not want to hear feedback can surely not survive as a business. Avoid.
