This is the second time we have been, but it certainly won't be the last, superb friendly attentive staff from initial booking of table on phone to the end of the evening at closing time fantastic… excellent food, plenty of choice… can't fault a thing, looking forward to taking our labrador with us next time as dogs are allowed in bar area on lead how did we not go here sooner. Highly recommend all you expect from Barons.

Enjoyed a fantastic New Year's eve at the Inn at West End. A welcoming, sociable & inclusive atmosphere & clientele, very friendly and attentive staff and great food. The live entertainment was also superb, courtesy of the lovely Victoria BeeBee. Will definitely be visiting regularly in 2020. Congrats & thanks to the management & staff!

Lovely hot Bank Holiday Monday and a relaxing garden to enjoy their delicious food. We had calves liver bacon and colcannon mash with fresh vegetables absolutely superb, very well presented, fresh and hot and the waitress was very cheerful The garden is full of flowers and an established grape vine. Comfy chairs we really enjoyed a late afternoon in the sun.

They have a vegan menu! Yaaay Friendly staff and lovely atmosphere! Great wine. Very happy.

Great food and service at a reasonable price and they were more than happy to do gluten free versions of menu items.

I popped in here for lunch with a colleague whilst surveying in the area. The chap behind the bar was extremely welcoming and friendly, as were the waiting staff. We both ordered Croque Monsieur, which was very nice and was good value. The only thing I would say is that everything else on the menu seemed a little expensive for lunch. I can't fault the place otherwise though, and I would like to return and try an evening meal if I'm ever in the area again.

Being coeliac and further sensitive to wheat and with complexities always a worry when eating out. I never post immediately as if reaction can be several days later too. The inn West End understood cross contamination provided a suitable alternative there was choice… And a pudding. They don't serve Pineapple juice, is my only gripe, as I really enjoyed a fabulous meal of my choice.

Rooms allowed no airflow even when using fan. Spoke to other guests and they listed same problems. Drinks were stupidly expensive. Breakfast was nice. But the rooms just got far to hot. Two nights without sleep.

No children allowed but they allowed us in because it was quiet I think but our little one enchanted all. Very nice food.

Lots of positive reviews leads you to believe the experience will be great. I can only assume a large number of the reviews are staff or friends of the business as it really was a disappointing experience. Just a boring pub, with boring food that wants to believe it is The Ivy.

Without doubt this Resturant serves the best 5* breakfast in Surrey wonderful friendly atmosphere coupled with top quality cooked breakfast options, always my goto whether sunshine or rain highly recommended.

Really top food in lovely surroundings, have taken people 4 times and not been disappointed — Sunday roasts are especially good.

Favourite restraunt, fabulous food in a lovely setting, superb wines (try the wine tasting menu) The whole experience costs the same as some of the awful gastro pub chains.

Not only a really great boutique restaurant and pub, they have very kind and helpful staff. Very quick to help with water / assistance when our car broke down across the road. Would def recommend for multiple reasons!

Very, very good restaurant and staff. Food is exellent and staff are efficient, friendly and helpful. Tends to struggle with its identity on the bar/pub side of the house and increasingly reserving tables in the bar area for diners leaving standing room only at the bar if you just want to pop in for a drink. No music/ambience in bar. Great restaurant, poor pub.

Food was excellent, refined, nicely presented. We both had duck breast. Beers are good too. I am a fussy Guinness lover and it was fab.

The Inn is a hidden gem. Less than 20 minutes from Heathrow it is an excellent location for a brief stopover or a base to explore the English countryside. The food is fabulous, the rooms are great and the staff is superb. I will be making the Inn at West End my place to stay when I fly through Heathrow.

Very cosy and good looking gastropub. Prices are a bit steep but you get what you pay for with good service and food.

Cosy pub which has had a makeover since I was here last. Restaurant with a bar and rooms to stay. Gerry, the owner, has transformed this place since he took it over many moons ago.

I have eaten at The Inn twice, after visiting Bisley. Truly outstanding food. End of January the pheasant with roast veg and mash was the best I've ever had. I sent compliments to the kitchen. I didn't want the dish to end. I finished with the vinegar pudding, recommended by my lunch host. Of course it sounds revolting, but is a delicate, baked treacle tart of sorts & is a hidden gem, a bit like The Inn itself. The bar also has a changing local ale which is well conditioned if you prefer an ale over wine with food, as I do. I couldn't recommend it high enough, going on my last visit.

Our room was excellent and staff very helpful and competent when asked to change the arrangement of the twin beds; room was also absolutely spotless and well appointed. Breakfast was above and beyond expectations and past experiences in other B&Bs/inns. Only had evening meal once and, because of late booking, had to eat in bar area which was very noisy that evening and slightly off-putting as it was our last meal with family before heading back to Canada. Service on that one occasion was not up to the par we had experienced in the dining room either. Would highly recommend it to anyone staying in the Woking area. Very handy to motorways too.

Excellent food… had Kedgeree off the a la carte menu, which was rich and spicy… fixed price lunch menu was good value, companion had a large portion of mussels… elegant dining room… not a place for a quick lunch.

Had a great breakfast, very reasonable price. Nice relaxed atmosphere and bottomless coffee. Will definitely return again. Highly recommend.

Gerry As head of our family of 14, who stayed at the Inn over last week-end 21-24 Aug, I write to say thanks to you and your friendly staff for your warm welcome and excellent and personal service, we received during our stay at the Inn. The rooms were commodious and the food with its fresh largely local ingredients wholly excellent, not to forget the special barbecue for our last evening. We had many young ones with us but their varied demands were met always willingly and with much pleasantness. I must mention your own personal attention to ensuring that our holiday was a happy one. Totally revamped in relaxing, clean colours making it traditional and modern at the same time. Food appears to cost more than the local competition but is good value compared to most restaurants and doesn't charge a headline price with extra for necessary add ons. Usually has three real ales on hand pump — today Horsell Gold, Seafarers and London Pride with some interesting Spanish bottled beers. Amazing wine list and wine shop next door. 12 stylish letting bedrooms, all doubles, are opening on March 26th all equipped with flat screen TV's, wi fi and hard wired internet, tea and coffee making facilities and room safes big enough to take a shotgun, for those people visiting nearby Bisley Shooting Ground. Great pub, restaurant, rooms and wine shop.

Great food. Relaxed and welcoming. Owner recommended stew that was medium priced when asked — always a good tell for customer focus. Great beer. Wide range of game food. Food simply delightful. Highly recommended.

Outstanding find. The staff are very friendly and clearly love the food enough to recommend items. The owner/manager is good to talk to but not intrusive. The food is not cheap pub food, but proper restaurant standard and every course is delicious. Definitely in my all time favourite places and now on my regular list.
