Review of Sedlescombe Golf Hotel 3*

I cannot express adequately how very pleased we were with the fabulous event that you gave us (Heringtons Solicitors) at our annual family day last Sunday at the Club. The feedback from our colleagues has been first class. Many of them said to me you were right on their door step and couldn’t imagine why they had never visited you before! Thanks to Manager Tom and the fantastic events co-ordinator Sam Dullaway for going to great pains to listen to our brief and then absolutely turning it into reality and surpassing all our expectations. Please congratulate chef and his assistant for providing absolutely delicious food and for ensuring that everyone was served quality food on demand and without delay. Your waiting staff were exceptional and went out of their way to ensure that our guests were looked after throughout. The “welcome wagon” tent was perfect and the girls so welcoming and helpful. Parents of small children were so grateful to be guided to the face painters etc. And every consideration was made for their comfort. The picnic blankets on the green were a delightful touch and indeed on such a hot day that corner closest to the pro-shop was most definitely the place to be! Thanks to the pro-shop staff who helped get those that wanted to partake on the putting green etc. Up and running.
Thank you personally Sam for your charming can-do-attitude throughout and putting up with our last minute queries and changes. Ken was absolutely made up with his birthday cake plate by the way – it’s those little things that mean so very much to people. Also for arranging the football and children’s golf which were very much used despite the heat on the afternoon!
