Warm welcomes from all the staff who are very friendly and helpful. Our room was nicely decorated and relaxing. It was also spotless. The bed super comfy and nice big fluffy towels. Breakfast is cooked to perfection with plenty of choice. The hotel is in the perfect spot to explore Rye. We will definitely return. Thank you to all the staff for making our stay a wonderful one.

Beautiful and charming building! We had a very nice stay, lovely and comfy room, despite having a window looking out to the street on a ground floor we can’t complain of too much noise (just few people leaving a pub opposite about 10Pm — 11Pm). Bathroom was very modern and fully equipped.
Lovely welcome and send off. The only slight disappointment was the breakfast service, no smiles, cold service, no interactions or check backs. Also, not convenient to only have 1 high chair available, when families are welcome. They can be stacked up and won’t take any more space than the one that is already there. We had to hold our toddler who wanted to run off for about 30 mins until the high chair was available, which was very stressful for us as we couldn’t eat our breakfast till then.
Overall we liked it and would stay again.

Had a lovely trip to Rye for the Christmas festival and went to the OBA to see Mother Christmas! She was awesome and gave the kids cookies. Then we had a lovely pint by the fire and left. Great little place.

Our second visit and not disappointed. A 2 double bedroom cottage right in the heart of Rye at very reasonable rates. Highly recommended.

We had a wonderful time in Rye! The Old Borough Arms was a great place to stay, our rooms were perfect with a great view, and breakfast was included. We stayed in the suite with 5 adults and we loved it!

Great location and friendly staff, rooms my room was small but perfectly adequate for my needs, although no onsite parking, staff will direct you to several locations nearby. Highly recommended.

My first visit to pretty Rye. We stayed here for the night. What a relaxing cosy & friendly place! The room was a good size for 3 and nicely decorated. The bed was really comfortable with nice pillows. We had an excellent good breakfast too. Would definitely recommend. (as regards a previous review we certainly did not notice any damp smells! )

Another visit to the cafe & again food was lovely, fresh & tasty. Varied menu choices, reasonably priced especially as home made & helpful willing staff. Dog friendly too.

We were staying locally and had breakfast here — think the staff took pity on us as it was raining really heavily and we must have looked hungry. Breakfast was amazing, with some of the best local sausages that we had ever tasted. Thank you Old Borough Arms.

We decided to stay here over night as we had our food tasting @ the George for our wedding.
I am so glad we did, it's pretty close to the main high street which made it an ideal location.
Everyone we met there was so friendly and helpful, even our now life long friend Pluto the dog (who is gorgeous)
I have discovered a new favourite drink in the form of sailor Jerry (I think?! ) rum!
Such nice comfortable rooms, ours was downstairs and we had our own door key so we could come and go as we pleased, which was perfect!
The breakfast (I had the vegetarian & my fiancé had the full English) was great and certainly set us up for the day.
Can't wait for a return trip! X.

We stayed two nights over a weekend, the room was small but well decorated, shower room basic with no bath but it had everything we needed. Friendly staff, standard English breakfast very well prepared plus a selection of fruit juice and cereals and some lovely warm French pastry. All in all, a lovely B&B centrally located and really comfortable. I would recommend and definitely would go back again.
