Simple food very well done. Fresh, hot and quick.

I had a Burger and a glass of cider both were great and so was the service.

Nice pub. The camembert starter looked as if out of the freezer, whitebait and prawn cocktail were OK. Main courses lovely, lamb shank and pork belly, but only gave four stars as disappointed with the small portion of vegetables. We asked if this was to share between three of us and was told yes, the waiter asked if we would like more, but didn't realise until we were given the bill we were charged a further £2.80. Unfortunately this has put us off any further visits.

A real gem of a place, well worth frequenting. Very friendly and accommodating staff that present superb food with a very good range of drinks all in most convivial surroundings. A nice atmosphere in which to spend an hour or two. I wish my local was like this. Beer tip: Try the HSB it's rather good.

Enjoyed a quiet beer. Lovely outdoor seating area using old kegs with cushions, very quaint, enjoyable way catching the summer sun. One of my favourite stops to pop in to.

Just had an overnight stay and what a lovely stay it was. Lovely room with lots of attention to detail. Food very good. Would definitely recommend and book again.

Nice cosy pub, good choices on the menu, the special menu has some great option on too, and is changed regularly. Staff very welcoming and the service is very good too. Easy to park, lots of room at rear entrance. Would visit again.

Easy to find, situated on the main road through Fishbourne. Has plenty of parking. Large food menu, happy to modify any meal (had a few fussy eaters). Friendly staff.

Has been refreshed inside, looks nice. Bar staff were helpful and the food was very nice. Ham egg and chips.

Went for a meal for eight of us. Good good, polite friendly staff. Little bit of a wait for the for, but was a busy day. Would definitely go again.

Was nearly put off by the odd bad review but glad I didn't. We chose from the specials menu and everyone had excellent food. The rump steak was delicious; very tender and flavoursome. Two people had pork steaks which were equally good and the fourth had an enormous mixed grill. Good choice of beers and pleasant staff. Thoroughly recommend for lunch.

We go to the bull on a regular. Basis for meals and some drinks the pub is a lovely. Cozy one the staff are so friendly. The food is excellent. And if I could give the pub a 5 us rating I would and also not forgetting. The great Chefs so thank you all for everything.
